In the squad or who start? Wolves have Ikeme, Batth, Doherty, Price, Evans, Edwards, Dicko, who were all in or around the side/match day squad last year. Which shows how desperate for an overhaul we were this summer.

Possibly others I have forgot too.
In the squad. Forgot about Judge but that's because he's not touched a football in near on 18 months now :(

To be fair, the only players who would get back into our squad now would be Tarkowski, Bidwell and Forshaw, and of those I think only Forshaw, and possibly Tarkowski would be first choice.

I use it twice a week going to Manchester for meetings. It can take 3 hours but can equally take 5 or 6 as you well know. Those roadworks go on forever!
Have a safe trip mate.
4 hours Cardiff to keele services! Still two hours to go....

We've agreed a fee with Reading for Jake Cooper. Wonder if it will break our record.

Edit: Hearing 300k? Seems ridiculously low in today's market.

We have still only signed one bloody player. And the only position we are really rumoured to be buying ... is centre mid and we have 15 of them.

Apparently had a 200k bid rejected from Blackburn for Charlie Mulgrew, everyone on Owlstalk is flapping.

Ripley had his pictures and press stuff done earlier this afternoon - hold up possibly that the announcement will be tonight at HT?

Who knows.

Who is Josh Bowler and how on earth have you managed to sell him to Everton for 4.2m?

Must have flown down then as he was at Boro training this morning.

All round defensively Baker is easily better than Flint. Will miss him in the opposition area though. Like to keep him but a big bid comes in we now could sell. Think Baker and Wright would be quite solid .

Surely Baker could learn to do the same as Flinty? He's the same height and probably thicker set after all.

Desperate for some transfer news but here it goes. Fulham and Brizzle apparently want the prolific Joe Mason according to the ever reliable source that is HITC.

Can't imagine it being that low. Was rumours that we rejected £500k and then an "improved" bid a few weeks ago.

Good luck to him, will be nice to see another academy player playing regularly at this level. He just wasn't going to get a look in here, being fourth choice to defenders who are all no more than 2 years older than him. And a liability we can't afford if we're aiming for the top half.

If it's anything less than £750k than I would assume we would have filled it with clauses. He could make it to the Prem, but IMO is destined to be a top Championship defender at best.

We signed him on a free from Fulham. QPR fans were in up roar saying "we only get Fulham cast offs on free FFS" etc. He played 40 minutes when we lost 6-0 to Norwich last game of the season. And now we have sold him for 4.25 million despite 99% of our fans not seeing him play.

Guess what. They still fucking moan. "Selling off our best talent for pennies". Pricks.

Think we got a decent sell on clause with that as well.

Also my old school friend Oliver Norwood has joined Fulham on a season long loan.

Old news from us I think Mark. We tried to get him when Kodjia went to Villa as a last minute deal and you turned down £5M I believe as it was right before the deadline and you knew we had the Kodjia money and you were relatively skint then.
After over £5M on Diedhou, alleged £3M+ on Baker and a rumoured move for Connor Ripley which won't be cheap, I can't see us bidding big again in this window.

He wasn't mate.

Flint named in the squad tonight as Tomlin and Kodjia were before they left but we shall see if he's actually there.

There is a reason owners don't give Mick McCarthy decent money to spend. The first, and only time we did he spent it on Roger Johnson and Jamie O'Hara. Last anyone saw of those two was Charlton's Reserves or the Big Brother house.

Unemployed now.

After over £5M on Diedhou...
I am looking forward to seeing Diedhiou and N'Doye going up against each other.

They both look imposing and fearsome. Incidentally both play for Senegal and came from the same club.

Who are you playing?

Presumably he is there for Aden Flint.
I think he's there to see if he can get Dean Holden to sign as a right back.
If you're really lucky, Johnson will come back and play in CM, but Redknapp doesn't like such young players.

FC Twente as CU said, Flint's not starting either. You can have Flint now we have Baker if you like...
