As I said yesterday, we shouldn't deal with Redknapp. Fat melted welly faced meathead.
Harry Redknapp: "I went to watch Bristol City last week and came back and said, 'I like the left-back and I like the centre-half. They're two players I'd like - I don't know if they're gettable', so the club made an offer and it was turned down."

If that's the way Birmingham recruit players they ought to be worried...

Neither of them will take the sideways move to Birmingham, much bigger clubs sniffing around both of them.

Johnson spent so much time licking his ass I am not surprised that Arry thought he could buy them for fuck all

Lets take into account the averages of Birmingham and Bristol City's league finish, attendances, accolades, etc.

We are superior. You know it, I know it. Aden Flint knows it.

We finished above you last season with a higher average attendance (first season we've had the finished stadium), history means squat frankly, in current standings moving to Birmingham given his age it very much is a sideways move unless you're in a position to challenge for promotion as he's staying in the same league playing infront of the same crowds. The only difference is the money you'd be willing to pay which in reality is the likely reason in the first place.

Obviously being London-based will help your cause, as well as being able to guarantee more playing time (I presume).

I like the sound of him though, would be happy to see him turn up here on loan.

Yeah a few things work in our favour, being in London, playing time, he's been here before and previous success stories with Arsenal, have had both Alex Song and Coquelin here on loan and they both returned to be key players in their respective Arsenal sides (we'll forget the Frimpong loan ever happened).

Ultimately, we can't offer Championship football or pay as much of his wages.

Shall just wait and see.

Let's take into account the present - we finished above you last season, we average more at home and pay bigger wages.

History matters squat when the pinnacle of your existence is being the most ‘successful’ club of the EFL Trophy. Your highest attendance in 37 years was against us, we had a bigger attendance in that previous week against Huddersfield. If we look past last season… the last time you averaged a higher attendance was in ’91, it was 22 years when you last finished above us, and 24 years when you last beat us. If Flint was to see it as a ‘sideways' move, he would surely be happy staying where he is.

So are Brum

Has you're chairman got bored already you don't seem to be signing much to compete for this premier league dream you were on about at the start of last season?

Loved Frimpong but injuries have ruined him. He is currently playing for a team that is bottom of the Swedish league.

Flint isn't pushing through a move because Birmingham City are interested for christ sake, he has much bigger fish to fry.

Oh yeah, it's not as if we've spent £9m on two players this summer or anything, rather than just signing players from L1 and L2 like you have done.

Yeah, you said that Middlesbrough have bid 'several times' for him. I am still waiting for you to prove it

It's not made the press because not all clubs have wankers like Redknapp in charge who leak everything to the media. Johnson said yesterday there have been bids for Bryan and Flint but the one that made the media was done literally minutes after the bid and it was from you.

As Aaron said, you must be praying you don't sign Flint given how shit he is, but I doubt you will do.

Were not expecting premier league football and we will still probably finish higher than you. How much did you spend last year, that went fucking well didn't it :ffs:

That's a completely different argument. You asked if our owner got bored, so clearly must've missed when we signed Baker and Diedhiou for £4m and £5m respectively.

Because I was told last week by a lad I know, he said Flint was off and his replacement has been at AG all day and he was an upgrade on Flint. The next day Baker signed, go figure.

To be honest I had no idea who you'd signed it just seems as though you weren't splashing the cash as much as last year and you're fans on here don't seem too content with the squad as much.

Probably would've been best if you didn't comment then really wouldn't it? And no I'm not really content with our squad just yet, two or three quality additions needed before Brum away, we should be alright for Saturday.

I think about the same as last season, flirting with relegation but surviving quite comfortably in the end. In an ideal world we'd sack Johnson after our shit start as we could achieve so much more with the squad we have.

What about yourselves? I had you to finish 16th I think, hard to tell how you'll do as you have a lot of unproven players at this level.

Also, did Walkley tell you he's been permanently banned?

Lol, Leeds signing Cameron Borthwick Jackson.

Even in the middle of an injury crisis last year he was our only recognised LB and we prefered to play a shit CM George Saville ahead of him.

I think that was just that bellend Lambert though, he said something alone the lines of only wanting to look at those who'd be available to him next season, which happily turned out to be no one.

Looks like Modou Barrow has lowered his wage demands and set to sign for us.

I feel like we have a collection of good wingers, but no-one really standout (unless McCleary is on form).
