They haven't broken anything yet, have they? If they sell any of those players for an increase on the fees they've paid, then they should theoretically be in profit.

If Benham spent £50m this summer and then sold those fir £60m next summer, then that works within FFP (salaries dependent of course).

It's certainly a bold strategy which increases the chance of it all ending in tears, but given current transfer market dynamics, the Wolves' owners must be pretty confident of recouping most of these fees they're currently paying out.

Brum gone from wanting Ashley Cole to Joe Bryan - just a slight downgrade....

Forgot to add they bid £5m for the pair (Flint and Bryan). We should refuse to even deal with Brum after Redknapp's comments in the press this week, fat old prick.

Why would you want Bryan if Cole is "considering" your offer given you already have Keita and Grounds...
Wasn't it Leeds who inquired about Bryan & Flint.

Lee Johnson said on your local radio that there has been no offer for Flint, that is why he's not happy with Redknapp speaking publicly about him.

Lee Johnson is a compulsive liar, he's said this before about Kodjia and Tomlin before they left. There have been bids for Flint, and Pete O'Rouke reported earlier on that you've bid £5m for Flint and Bryan.

Rumour we (Pompey) are trying to sign Stuart O'Keefe on loan from Cardiff. We need another central midfielder. Whats he like Cardiff fans?

We're (Leicester) apparently sniffing around Che Adams. Not sure Gray is a good advert for his prospects.

I like him, great engine and will hunt down the ball all game, doesn't shy away from the tackle and is decent technically. Sure he did pretty well for MK Dons last season on loan in League 1. Him and Warnock don't get on though so he was never going to be a regular here.

Lansdown was the one who said Kodjia wouldnt go.
And Johnson saying Tomlin was part of the plans made sense.
We actually got all the money on him back, if LJ had said "I can't wait to get rid of the lazy fucker" then we wouldn't have got half the amount.

We've had a £7m bid for Tom Lawrence turned down by Leicester.

They paid £1m for him 3 years ago. He's played 4 games since.

Greedy Premier League bastards. The world's gone mad.

Move on Derby FFS.

Man City did the same with Aaron Mooy, Signed him for next to nothing from Australia, loaned him to Huddersfield without even playing a game for City, and then sold him for 10m.

I don't think in this case its a greed thing, though no club is beyond that. I think its more that Lawrence and Harvey Barnes came off the back of good loan spells and we're in a bit of a quandary as to what to do with them. With Mahrez and now Gray being talked about in moves away we might want to keep Lawrence. After all, if he werent one of our players already then his performances last year would probably have garnered interest from us.
Besides, what a club buys a player for is irrelevant. Markets have changed and presumably he's proven more now than when he joined us.
As with Mahrez, we're not gonna sell him for a bargain fee to someone just cos we only paid 500k for him. Same thing.

The fee's too high but Leicester can value him at whatever they want, he's their player and it's not like they need to get rid either.

I'd like him but 7 million is a hell of a lot of money.

They sold Mooy for more money than it cost them to buy Melbourne City (where Mooy was from)..

Looks like we're signing another striker, as we all know we're short on them... It seems Abel Hernandez is signing imminently according to our Twatter feeds, and to be fair, they've not often been wrong this window. It's also been reported in the Uruguayan press.

Harry Bunn from Huddersfield is picking up pace, first linked last week and didn't play last night in Austria. 500-600k apparently, rated quite highly by Huddersfield fans. Winger that can also sit in just behind the striker... 17 goals in 96 games for them.

Sounds good on the face of it. Still though, the wait for a fucking number 9 goes on.

Would be very happy if that is true.

Aly Cissokho has left Villa to join Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey for £1.3m. Never really hit it off at Villa, good luck to him.

Apparently Leicester have upped their initial derisory bid for George Hirst, to another derisory 1.5M. We need to tie him down and get him out on loan till January.

What's with that emoji. More than happy to have him off the books. If he joins Little in going to Bolton I might just put a fair bit on them going down.

What sort of price wouldn't be derisory for a lad who has appeared twice for the senior side and can leave for a tribunal fee next year?
Or do you reckon the tribunal fee would be worth more as it is than the offer?
Obviously you'd rather keep him, but if a sale were inevitable?
