History matters squat when the pinnacle of your existence is being the most ‘successful’ club of the EFL Trophy. Your highest attendance in 37 years was against us, we had a bigger attendance in that previous week against Huddersfield. If we look past last season… the last time you averaged a higher attendance was in ’91, it was 22 years when you last finished above us, and 24 years when you last beat us. If Flint was to see it as a ‘sideways' move, he would surely be happy staying where he is.
I'd count 50% of the teams in this league as sideways moves, not just yourselves. Flint being 28, anyone who isn't a realistic promotion candidate is a sideways move, therefore the only realistic reasons are first team football (he's been played every game he's available over last 2 years), family (seems unlikely) or money which is the most likely cause of him wanting away. Boro would fit the bill of a bigger move but not to a team such as yourself if you're likely finishing mid table at best.

Oh yeah, it's not as if we've spent £9m on two players this summer or anything, rather than just signing players from L1 and L2 like you have done.

Lots of good players to be had in L1 and L2. Most of our signings have been from the lower leagues/ other teams cast offs. It still hasn't stopped us finishing above you and many other big spenders the past 2 seasons.

Looks like Modou Barrow has lowered his wage demands and set to sign for us.

I feel like we have a collection of good wingers, but no-one really standout (unless McCleary is on form).
Signed. That was a quick turnaround in the end.

Four year deal, somewhere around £1.25m-£1.5m transfer fee rumoured.

Oh no, poor dears, he didn't did he?

Muppets.

Pipe down.

Walkley told Herts to "go die" several times hence his week ban. Once his ban expired, in the two days he was back, he sent a message to an admin saying "fuck off you stupid fucking c***" for no reason whatsoever.

He's a very angry man who needs to chill the fuck out, other than his away figures I don't really think anyone will miss him.

Good signing that, 1.25m isn't much of a risk either. Always thought he was a striker though?

Signed Brad Potts from Blackpool.

Expect Andy Yiadom to leave before the window shuts.

May I ask why you specifically chose my post to single out yet not the one by JJH which was far more inflammatory than calling the team muppets, or is that because JJH is your buddy?

I'm aware I've pissed a few of the team off, but hey ho, if they got their arses in gear (which, admittedly they have recently, thus why I've 'piped down') I wouldn't have to.

This is one more reason I've asked for more transparency regarding bans, something I messaged Saddlerrad about (among other things) but never received a reply to. It'd save crap like this going on, regarding the actual reasoning (which, let's face it, would be easier to give rather than allowing a shitstorm to begin to brew as it has/had on this thread), it seems reasonable enough.

I'd advise quoting all inflammatory posts in future, rather than singling out 'muppets' over 'raging nonce', but there we are, perhaps that's just me, eh?

Villa after one of either Jefferson Montero or Sheyi Ojo. Ojo would be a loan and Montero would be permanent. Would like either to come tbh and coneofe with Andre Green

Lol, Leeds signing Cameron Borthwick Jackson.

Even in the middle of an injury crisis last year he was our only recognised LB and we prefered to play a shit CM George Saville ahead of him.

If it happens it'll probably be the same story here tbh. Do need another LB but Berardi has done nothing wrong there, even if he is right-footed.

Barrow was absolutely terrible for us last season. No idea how he's played so much in the Prem unless we got a lookalike on loan.

That Nixon mush saying "Derby have asked about Callum Robinson".

If clubs won't meet our valuation for Hugill, then they've no chance with Robbo, will be a big player this year under Neil.

We've signed Tom Trybull on a free. Played for Den Haag last season.

How much would it take to land him?

Seeing more and more of him mentioned on our feeds.

Can't see why we'd accept any less than the £7m you bid for Lawrence. We know the money is there and we don't need to sell. Personally I wouldn't sell for any less than £10m.

I agree with Tom, £7m in my books, he's worth much more than Hugill and we've valued him at over £4m. We don't need the money so can play hardball.

22yrs old, 2 years left on his contract, 10 goals in 34 starts despite spending 90% of the time down the left hand side.

Mavididi on loan is 'all but done' according to a reliable ITKer.

Quite excited by this guy, shades of a young Ricardo Fuller is the videos i've seen, looks like he could be a very useful option.

Mental how he couldn't of been given away before last season

Not sure about that considering we paid compensation to get him.

Was great in his first loan spell for us as well.

He was sent to City with a very low fee and he was sent packing at the first chance

Don't see how that has any baring on how he's doing at Preston and how they value him. Our club didn't rate Cunningham, Preston fans love him. Same can be said for ayling, bolasie, Moore and a shit load more I expect.

Marco Steppierman looking like he's on his way. And Sean Raggert from Lincoln. Our SD said that it would be 3 more maximum so that would be us finished with Trybull earlier.

Any chance of you loaning Raggett back for the season? I think that's the best we can hope for. No point letting his contract run down for him to leave on a free.

He came with a drug scandal and a bad attitude with him

I'd say that's more of a reflection on Bristol City's shit manager.
Was Cotterill at the time, tbf the games he played he looked no where near the standard so not surprised he didn't get more of a chance with us, some clubs it just clicks and seems to be that way for him at Preston.

Niclas Eliasson having a medical with us, £1.9m for a young Swedish winger.
