Oxford are no mugs SF, I would imagine you would have to pay a fair bit more than that to get him WTGR. Probably similar to what we paid for COD who was at a similar level at the time. A decent starting bid though.

The Riddler will have Oxford's pants down.

Any Wednesday fans got an opinion on Jake Kean who's just signed for us on loan until end of the season please?

Edit: just checked Wiki and he hasn't even played a game for you, probably better off asking Mansfield fans then.

Ryan Leonard to Blades is definitely happening then. Fee to be agreed today and player to sign early next week I imagine.

Deal for Kieffer Moore from Ipswich almost done. Can't say I'm overjoyed but he has had a good season for Rotherham so far and it's always fun to put a spanner in their works whenever the opportunity arises.

Ashley Fletcher mentioned too, now that I would be excited about.

He's not going to be the sort of player who plays one game and everyone is going 'what a signing' but in time everyone will realise what a good player he is. Absolutely lightning quick will not get beaten by anyone in a foot race and got a peach of a goal in his locker.

Sounds promising. When lundstram came into the side all the retards started saying he's shit, no where near good enough etc 6 or 7 games later all the retards love him now. Anyone needs a run in the side to get going really, so many fucking idiots watch football though and expect players to be like Messi from day 1. He sounds a good fit for us.

If he was playing for a bigger side he would be commanding a much bigger fee. Have to say Wilder clearly knows what he is doing and the fact he has been publicly after him for so long is a testament to how much he rates Ryan. I personally think you've picked up a top, top player. Met him loads of times as he is going out with one my good mates sister and some of the contract offers from us were laughable, happy for him that he's got this move, deserves it and a nice bloke.

Wilder definitely knows what he's doing, every one who he signs people laugh at them for being from the lower leagues, currently fleck,Clarke, lundsram, Jack oconnell , baldock, Stevens all from the lower leagues and proving to be top 6 challengers in the championship playing some great stuff. I personally believe we have a genuinely superb manager who our owners need to do absolutely everything to keep him. I have no doubt Leonard will be good for us, trust wilder all day long and he really really wanted him.

Wilder is class. Glad he's doing so well as it further highlights yet another fuck-up by our board.

He's a clever bloke, and his knowledge of the lower leagues is very good, he targets all the best players from L1 just as he did with Holmes and Leonard etc. Thankfully for us our board stood firm for once. Although, with the takeover looming Wilder could probably go back and get a decent price agreed!

He’s doing a great job no doubt - though O’Connell wasn’t from the lower leagues, he was from us and we were in the league above you!

Seems like a talent. Still only 20 years old so I’m not sure if he’s ready for Championship football? Especially where we are in the league.

I realised that after I'd wrote it but couldn't be arsed to change it , still similar in a way he signed a player deemed not good enough for this league and now has him performing very well in it.

The Everton fans are gutted which has to be a good sign GG.
Debut against Man C? A nice easy start. ;)

He’s been on loan at Birmingham this season and has had little game time. Although Arry signed him, doesn’t strike me as a Cott’s player...

Was never not deemed good enough - we wanted to keep him but he wanted first team football. Club always rated him.

Unfortunately at the time he had no chance of getting past any of our other defenders. Same thing happened with Mawson.

Apparently we've signed a striker from Derby that's to be announced Monday, any of the Derby lot on here know who it might be please as these are the Forwards on your website and surely none of those are bad enough to want to come and play for us? :gr:

Russell, Weimann, Lawrence and Bennett are wingers, the first three being in our starting 11.

Vydra, Nugent, Winnall and Martin are all in the match day squad. Martin may well leave but I'd put my mortgage on him not joining Grimsby.

That leave's Darren Bent, who's returning from injury. A possibility but huge wages, who knows. I think he'd stay in the Championship too, plenty more goals left in him IMO.

I'd probably be looking at either Zanzala from our under 23's or Mason Bennett, he's not getting much game time at all with the firsts. He plays central for our under 23's at times so he could be the man despite him being predominantly a wide man option for our first team.
