We wanted more than £6m in the summer, expect our valuation of him is north of £10m given our league position and being the last week of the January window.

is that his own goal leg?
Don't worry I'm not one of the ones who overrates him.
He certainly has his flaws and limitations.

But, with the right partner alongside him, he would do alright in the Premier League. I think given we valued him at £10m in the summer, and how he has improved again this season, it would be at least double the reported £6m bid for us to sell.

If Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy can hold their own then so can Flint.

It's only a few years ago Flint came on as a sub to replace Dunk while we were bottom of League 1, and both looked poor at that level.

He hasn't improved this season, he just doesn't have players around him that he's constantly having to get out of the shitter. We've been a much better defensive unit this season the last few weeks aside.

£10m would probably do it, which would be fair given our position and it being the last week of January. Wouldn't mind Hünemeier being thrown in as part of the deal to bring the price down if he's still at Brighton...

No, nor Reid or Paterson. I think they'll stick it out until May and go in the summer if we don't go up based on this season's performances regardless of what offers we get for them. Flint is 28, this might be his last chance to go and get a huge payday so that's why I think he'll be gone by the end of this month, Reid Paterson and Bryan are all 24/25, whether we go up or not they're gonna have several options in the summer.

Still no word from PNE but the Hamilton chairman is saying we have agreed a fee to take Devlin till the end of the season, with a view to a long-term deal in the summer.

The guy has had 2 cruciate ligament injuries so suppose were using the rest of the season just to assess him. Could be smart business, could be a complete waste of time.

Was linked with some big moves last year but he could be fucked these days.

Alex Neil at Scunthorpe's game on Tuesday, supposedly watching Hakeeb Adelakun, 21yr old winger. Supposedly priced at £1m.

Don't see where he would fit unless we're looking to move on Darly Horgan, or there is interest in Callum Robinson.

Bottega Don, any good?

Means there’s some out going as well
Not sure, think it could be a case of getting him while available, Kent will be gone come the summer and if we don't go up we'll get raided, so get him in while we can. £1m-£2m isn't exactly much for us if he doesn't play much till next season.

He is ridiculously good. He's had the talent for years but has left a lot to be desired in the past. However, this season he's really stepped it up and shown how good he is.

His contact is up at the end of the season so I can't see us getting 1M for him, we might be forced to cash in for cheap.

Would this be a blow to your play-off hopes?

Yes a massive one. We only have two creative players in the team, Adelakun and Holmes. Holmes is being forced to play RB due to injuries so unless we sign a RB we will have no real creativity. It's not looking great for us right now.

This was before Kent signed.
To be honest, even if true then I still think we might be interested. If LJ has highlighted him as the guy he wants then I don't think paying the transfer fee 6 months earlier and wages would put them off getting him now if he's the #1 target for a permanent signing.

Burton have just sold Matty Palmer to Rotherham....

Lost for words, he's fantastic I'd have had him here. Great signing for them.
