Still a good defender despite him getting on a bit now. If you don't play possession based football even better.
It seems to me like unnecessarily expensive cover, but no doubting he's a good option for us to have.

Sounds like Cahill to Millwall is well and truly back on.

Jon Flanagan is supposedly at our training ground...

Not sure on that one but Fisher's had quite a few niggles this season and we need Tom Clarke for the centre.

Just read that he's a woman beating c*** as well, not happy with this.

Signed Marko Grujic on loan from Liverpool. Big unit of a midfielder that we have needed since Gunnarsson was abducted by aliens a while back.
Linked with Grabban and Forshaw as well. Get them and another left back in and we'll be sound I think.

Cardiff have supposedly agreed a deal with us for Grabban and have been talking terms, but as yet can't agree wages or something. I'm sure as the deadline draws nearer the haggling will complete. Grabban's agent is known for enjoying a good haggle.

We seem to be pruning squad players off to the Championship, as also Barnsley are 'set' to take Connor Mahoney on loan from us Craig
And Nottm Forest looking at a permanent deal for Adam Federici (who's just recovering from a horrible injury)

Tomlin going back to Bournemouth in exchange
Sadly for the economy of Bournemouth's pasty shops, I doubt it!

Apparently we were in for Diony too, no surprise he chose Bristol though.

I always thought Flint would be terrible in the PL, but I thought the same about Maguire and he’s ended up doing quite well. Think it would largely depend what system he fell into.

Burton have just sold Matty Palmer to Rotherham....

Lost for words, he's fantastic I'd have had him here. Great signing for them.
Really good signing. Surprised a fair few clubs at this level didn’t take a look. We are overstocked in midfield, so can’t really afford to add any more but otherwise I’m sure we would have had some interest at least

I’m surprised City didn’t go in for Mousset as they wanted him as well

He's becoming more important to us, regularly off the bench and was important to us beating Arsenal recently. Getting there slowly with him.

Linked with Rondon from West Brom. Not really arsed but it would be funny to see the reaction from the WBA fans.

Flint's subject of £6m bids, Harlee Dean went for £2m and has been largely shite at Brum, and John Egan won't even make your first 11 when he's back. Makes you think...

Harlee Dean has been good. Defensively, we have looked a lot more solid when he has been playing.

Our problem has been through a lack of scoring goals.

Why has he been linked with every one suddenly?

Liverpool and Chelsea linked because they both apparently need a target man. We're linked because we have an open chequebook and can sign anyone we want it seems. We can get better than Rondon if we go up though, so I think we'll wait to see where we are in the summer.

What about Roberts? I reckon he's the better player out of the two.

He has been disappointing for what we paid, expected a lot more from him given his reputation at Barnsley. Harlee's the better player.

He'll come good eventually I reckon, perfect CB to play in Cotterill's 3-5-2 which I think he'll try and implement with you if he manages to keep you up.

I'm sure he's a promising young player but this is quite underwhelming. We've sent a couple of promising young midfielders out on loan with with the intention of bringing in experience to help us avoid the drop and so far we've brought in a striker who flopped at a middling club in this division. It's quite worrying as we haven't strengthened at all so far.

Dean had less than 12 months left on his contract, so it's not a fair comparison at all. We've let a few players go for low fees in the last 12 months, we can't afford to keep them and let them run out their deal.

John Egan was great for us, but we've had a youth team player come through while Egan was out who has been really good. Doesn't matter how well Egan played before, if someone is earning the shirt now, he's going to have to fight to get it back!

Bent to Burton done now. Unreal signing for them. Hope he helps keep them up, and scores a few against our promotion rivals. A winner against Villa next week would be lovely.

We've signed a 17yo Danish goalkeeper, whose main attribute is that "he's a tall lad". He has big ears too, so maybe he's going to be used as a cheap satellite dish instead of cable at Molineux. Are we really signing people because they're tall. ffs.

Vibe off to China, hopefully that means we get a fair whack in a transfer fee

Jordan Cousins is being linked with Middlesbrough for 1 million. Shame if he goes as he is a good player, but Holloway only plays him out of position so we haven't seen the best of him yet.
