Daniel Johnson could leave this summer if we get the right offer, 1yr left on his contract, rarely in the first eleven lately and asking for too much money supposedly. Can see Lee Johnson looking into this one.

Wouldn't be surprised if Neil Warnock comes back in for Cunningham either, another with a year left and supposedly demanding more than we're willing to pay.

Would rather keep Cunningham than DJ if given the option but I like both, still, imagine we will be able to command a decent fee for both in the summer.

Interesting to see how the club plays this one.

LJ said in the summer if he could sign 3 players in this division he'd have Johnson, Pearson or Bannan so hopefully. I rate DJ, he'd probably play as a second striker for us if he joined providing Reid goes.

Not sure he could play there regularly to be honest, he's very much a midfielder but better in a three when he's given license to push forward and find space on the edge of the area.

I'd like to keep him but can't blame him for trying to get a better wage, especially when he's been making do with the bench a lot lately. Neil clearly rates him but Gallagher has stepped up since Christmas.

I don't rate him, sorry my opinion doesnt fall in line with yours, much like you slating Flint last season.

Moot point anyway as Bristol can't afford him.

You don't reckon??
I would imagine his wages are too high.

Wednesday might have to sell. Another year of failure, FFP might come calling...

Offloading Rhodes would be first and maybe Forestieri if the right offer came in which would offset it, but i guess you're financially qualified to talk accounts?

Don't believe everything El Guapo says, you clearly have a short memory and don't remember this conversation we had last season.

I'd want better than Grant Hall.

I'd argue Barnsleys, QPR and Bristol City's goal against columns suggests their defenders are pretty shit.

We've had three seasons (Westwood and Lees) of being very good at the back and finding a replacement would be costly.

Give over ffs Walkley, don't be a simpleton.

Flint playing alongside shite full backs and in front of shit keepers doesn't make him a shit defender, same goes for Hall and Roberts.

Btw, you wouldn't get better than Hall, he's arguably better than Lees, it's subjective.
Your opinion about Bannan is fair enough but it's bizarre that you always go onto say you want x amount of millions for him, if he's shit why would he command £10m+? Top player at this level obviously.

I remember you having a couple of rants about Flint though but i am not trawling through old posts, not my style.

Re the valuation of Bannan, the fact I don't rate doesn't mean he's shit or not worth X amount, i think he could do so much more than he does, not enough goals or assists for me for the role he has, but given the market now at this level £10m seems the norm.

Trawl through the posts by all means, you'll see how highly I rate the bloke so it'll be a pointless excersise.

He's a central midfielder the role he does in your team is excellent imo. Pack's the same with us he splits opinion like Bannan does at Wednesday but I think now more people appreciate Pack/Bannan than don't.

It makes you realise how good Bannan is when you've not got him available.

You rate him that highly that you 'wouldn’t be arsed' if he left. And would have been happy with Shotton as his replacement.

For Flint yeah, doesn't look like Bryan's off.

I honestly wouldn't be arsed if we lost either now, Flint's replacement is an upgrade and Bryan isn't that good anyway.

Hopefully Birmingham panic after Saturday and chuck money at Flint, will just come down to the highest bidder.

Shotton lined up as a replacement for Flint if he goes apparently, would be happy with that.

Shotton's quality imo, the same age as Flint and is a regular every week for a side that are above us. Is this honestly the best you could find?

I was happy to let Flint go for £10m+ given we signed a better CB for £3m and I still would be in the summer. It's silly money.

Unless Fletcher is available and Bannan sits there pinging the ball to him. We missed Lee more than Bannan btw.

I agree about Lee, hope the rumours of him being done are not true. Goes under the radar but he is most definitely a £10M player.

Admittedly, haven’t seen a lot of Shotton at Middlesbrough but he was ran ragged by Maghoma at St Andrew's and got hauled off after 70 minutes. I still rate him but he is nowhere near the level you hype Flint up to be, seemed odd that you wouldn't have been arsed if he left to have Shotton in as his replacement. You never commented on him until after the season ended.

We'll pass FFP with flying colours pal. Not so sure about yourselves. You've taken the risks of spending money and all you have to show is a day out at Wembley.

Yep a risk didn't work out, you will pass FFP and fair play, still rather support us.

Walkley said I ranted about him in the season so thanks for proving my point.

He was on about Flint. I’m talking about Shotton.
Why would I comment on Shotton mid-season? We were linked with him hence my comment, I'm pretty sure I've had a discussion with you or another Blues fan on here where I said I prefer him to Morrison.

I'd have Roberts here if Flint goes as well, you've not seen the best of him yet I don't think.

West Ham want 12m for Snodgrass. No thanks. He's good at this level, but even then some games he's useless. If we go up, we need better. If we stay down, I'd love to keep him, but we won't be able to fork out 12m for anyone. Plus he's not exactly young, and he's not worth 12m.

Few rumours about QPR players being wanted.

Ryan Manning; Celtic and Palace want him.
Ebere Eze - Spurs, City, Palace and Newcastle all watching him.
Paul Smyth - Brighton watching him.
Luke Freeman - Fulham are looking at him to replace Cairney if he goes.
Alex Smithies - Huddersfield are watching him.

All watching and rumours but this is the place for that.
