Nah, just a bit of humour. Sooner you lot fuck off upstairs the better mind.

Yeah I know everyone here wants us to fuck off. From a forum point of view I might stay here though, the league upstairs is a ghost town.

Don't mind wolves at all. Good club, but because I know a lot of wolves, they have all come across billy big bollocks.

Be honest if it was Villa who had gone through this transition do you think your fans would be the same?

We've kind of been through it with the start of the randy Lerner era. Not only that doing well in the top flight is nothing new for us. We've had some good seasons over the years, and some good teams. Villa fans generally have an inflated opinion of their club anyway, even when we are doing shit. There is an air of arrogance about the fanbase.

Niklas Fullkrug is supposedly on our radar. A few other prem clubs after him, so all will depend on promotion.

Fair enough. For what it's worth I agree that our fans have gone 'billy big bollocks' so to speak. I'm guilty of that myself on this forum of past weeks. I think there is a lot of excitment around the club at the minute, and after being shit for the past decade it's refreshing for us Wolves fans to see some positivity around the club. Sure it could all come crashing down and there will be a endless queue of people wanting to laugh at us, but for the time being we're just enjoying the ride.

I also think if it happened to any other club they would have the same billy big bollocks attitude as Wolves have had. If Preston, or Sheffield Wednesday, or Birmingham (etc) were in our shoes I'm sure the result would be the same. We'd just be talking about NFPF's, NFSWF's, and NFBF's instead ;)

Bit like how Wednesday went from 16000 on the last day of the seasom they struggled to a 39000 sell out the day they got promoted...

I still can't help but feel this will end with Wolves bankrupt and back in D4. Them the doom merchants like me will be back in their element talking about days out at Aldershot, Darlington, Stockport and Halifax.

Can't remember now but looked it up in response to Walkley but never posted. I did just spot you had 22k on the final day of 2010/11 when trying to find whatever I was babbling about and then the season after was when you came 2nd and everyone in Sheffield was suddenly all WAWAW, which was I phrase I had never heard at any stage from 2005 until then, and everyone and there 6 mates was at your final game.

Not saying you don't have fantastic fans and loyal support but your narrative we are the only set of plastics is utter testicles.

Personally I don't have an issue with people only going when there team is decent, it's no different to how I would never play golf in the rain in many respects.

Adthe Nuhiu and Daniel Pudil have signed contract extensions, no brainier really both had very good seasons and add squad depth.

Jordan Rhodes has been linked with a loan move to Norwich, we'll be wanting to trim the wage budget this summer and bring in some energetic younger players, not worked out for Rhodes here but we all know when we let him go he'll bang them in again. Hopefully he goes out, scores a load and we either get a lot of money back for him, or he brings his form back here.

I would take Rhodes in a heartbeat. We need a goalscorer and a penalty taker.

Lots of teams in this division are seemingly interested in Marcus Maddison including Leeds, Forest, Derby, Sheffield United and Villa.

Thought I would give you all an insight into our Marcus, it may explain why he isn't already playing in this league.

It's a tough one really. He is without doubt the best player we have had here over the past 5 years and we have had some good players.

However, the baggage that he comes with has seemingly put off potential suitors every transfer window.

So here's the pro's:

Every single time MM gets the ball, you feel something special is about to happen.

He is so fluid when he gets on the ball, he's reasonably quick, agile and when he's running at defenders is very hard to stop.

He makes space for himself so easily. Even if the opposition man mark him, he tends to be too good for them and is always available.

He's a great penalty taker. I think he's only missed one since he has been here.

But most of all, he is an assist king. 60 odd assists over 4 seasons, including 22 this year. With the ball at his feet, he will pick out just about anybody who is within 50 yards of him with ease. He spots passes that no other player would even think about.

And now the con's:

The guy is a complete prick. A sulking, cheating spoilt brat. I'll break it down a little more.

If he doesn't get his own way and another player chooses to pass to someone else, he throws his arms around and his head drops straight away. He moans constantly and has a look on his face like someone has murdered his favourite pet.

He's a cheat. No two ways about it. He dives constantly, faigns injury and tries to get opposition players sent off. I'm all for our players going down if they've been fouled, but the majority of our fans are embarrassed when Marcus does it as it is so dramatic. You will hear his squeals from the top tier!

He's not a team player. Whenever we score, he doesnt get involved in the celebrations. Instead he either celebrates by himself, or simply ignores it and slowly walks back to his own half.

He should score more goals. For a player of his quality, he really should score more. He's our main penalty taker and for a guy who played 40 odd games this season, I think he only scored 3 goals that weren't penalties. He also takes every free kick but hasn't scored a direct free kick for almost 3 years.

50 percent of our fans love him, 50 percent think his negatives outweigh his positives and in fact we would be a better, more coherant team without him.

Oh, and he's wears 2 different boots. No idea why.

I firmly believe that if he didn't have so many negatives, he would be in the premier league by now.

Do I think he's worth the risk? Yeah, I do. You could spend 2 or 3 million quid on far, far worse players.

To sum him up:

Supremely talented, bit of a tosser.

Hope that helps!

Would he be as good as a small fish in a big pond or would it help him rise to the challenge?

Andy Yiadom to Reading. Out of contract so will be a free. Would be a good player for most teams in this division.

Wasn't he linked to Huddersfield and other Prem clubs in the summer?

Seems a step down.

He had a medical at Huddersfield or Swansea (I forget off the top of my head) and failed with a niggle.

I'd like Yiadom we need another wing back to push Hunt, as Palmer isn't good enough.

Nahki Wells from Burnley (formally of Huddersfield) on loan to us, apparently. I would be very happy with him but cannot see it happening.

Good signing that, he would have been a good fit at our place in a problem position.

Ledson signed, 3 year deal. Undisclosed.

Less than what everyone thinks and we went back and restructured the deal with Oxford after he failed his medical.
