Vydra to Burnley wrapped.

Sounds like 11 plus 2 with addons. Good deal all round, he gets a crack at the PL and we finance our summer.

Busy few days for us now I imagine. Waghorn should get done but that won’t be our last incoming. Wells, Duane Holmes and Bryan all still being mentioned. The latter likely to go elsewhere though.

Couple of deals that are not that exciting.

Ebere Eze signs an extension. Such a talented player, very happy that he has been tied down for another few years.

More of a surprise is that we have let Wheeler go out on loan for the whole season. We are lacking wingers and we have a January embargo so I find this one odd. Hopefully we can recall him but good luck to him at Portsmouth.

Jackson fee being reported as £1.5m now and should complete today.

Hopefully Waghorns gone today as well so the Shrewsbury two can come in today

I rate this guy highly.

He is a bit of a luxury player but he is very good on the ball. Needs to stay a bit higher up but that will come. Excited to see how he does this season.

Aye, he's a bit naive, Fisher robbed the ball off him on the halfway line and put him on his ass on Saturday and it nearly resulted in Barkhuizen finding the bottom corner. He seems to dwell on the ball sometimes in bad positions.

Sounds like we want to replace Bryan with Sam McQueen

Nolan and Nsiala for £2m has now gone through.

Jackson for £1.5m is likely to be confirmed by tomorrow morning.

Rangers stalling over our Windass bid of £1.2m.

Fingers crossed that we will get Tilt over the line before deadline, and maybe Jordan Graham. If we manage those 2 and also offload Garner to Bolton I'll be very happy.

Reckon I'll need a lie down after the window closes! Not used to this much activity down at Portman Road!

Bit sceptical of Ipswich's transfer window. Signed a couple of Accy Stanley and Shrewsbury players and one each from Blackpool, Crawley, Bristol Rovers and Peterborough?

We also have Chabolah on a season long loan from Chelsea, looked good in the first half against Blackburn and will play a central midfield role as opposed to CB.

Couldn't be happier, Edwards and Nolan are class. We've actually bought some quality and creativity as opposed to 'top blokes' under McCarthy, and we've got some existing experience in the side along with 3 or 4 academy players capped at U19 pushing to start. As I've said plenty of times, I'm excited and optimistic for the season ahead with our new squad, but it's a new approach and could go either way, very different from seasons before.

Still want another striker and another winger but think both will materilise before deadline tomorrow (Josh Windass and possibly Jordan Graham though we're looking at a couple). Other than that I really hope we get Tilt over the line from Blackpool, looks very good on the ball.

Sky saying Callum Connolly is going to Wigan on loan.

We put in a permament bid at the start of summer but seems Everton don't want to let him go just yet. Not sure if we tried to loan him too, wouldn't be able to guarantee him much game time I imagine.

Isnt Joe Royle now involved at Wigan so they have the link with Everton

Yeah, he's been there before too, makes more sense for him to go there if it's only on loan.

Would have been good to get him snapped up on a permanent basis though, looks like he will go on to be a good player. Hopefully he has a quiet season and we try again next summer.

Would have welcomed this a couple of weeks ago but after how well Gibson apparently did on Saturday, I’m not really sure we need Connolly all that much. Guess he’ll bring versatility and Championship experience. Only one more loan allowed for us if this goes through, so Jordan Graham may have to go elsewhere.

Royle (and his son) are heavily involved with the new owners in waiting. I think the plan is for him to become “Director of Football” when it all finally goes through.

That’s the Paul Hurst way. Loves a lower league signing and to be honest it‘s worked well for him, especially at Shrewsbury.

We’ve been linked with that striker, can’t see us spending that much though so think it must be bollocks

don't think we need another striker tbh, Roofe, Bamford and Roberts should be enough, would love a CB though

We've needed a striker desperately all summer, wilder stayed and was promised an increased budget, we sold David brooks for a very good fee, yet we have spent nothing on a striker which is just unacceptable.
