I think we've panicked with this one personally. Young chairman with the Dan Burn money 'burning' a hole in his pocket. Plus a golden opportunity to get one over on Bolton. But at the same time he's an upgrade on Vaughan and possibly even Grigg as well, both very similar strikers. Time will tell but in Cook we trust!

Garner is 5ft 10 so hardly tall

I had a google after posting that and edited. Genuinely thought he was about 6ft! Strangely we've never come up against Garner! We got relegated the season PNE went up. He then joined Rangers the year we came back up, and went back down the year he came back to England with Ipswich.

Love Garner.

He 100% isn't a target man/ lone striker though.

Power to Sunderland confirmed as well. So in the last week we’ve signed 7 players. Will probably either be brilliant or a disaster, no inbetween.

Pretty sure Richard Cresswell supported every team in Yorkshire.

Why do Blades fans hate that? Don't really get it, players say it for every club they join

It basically got took out of all proportion because of how arrogant some Wednesday fans can be at times and refer to themselves as massive so now all United fans call them massive and they all refer to themselves as massive too, taking piss. Load of shit really.

Dean Smith has said we don’t expect Swansea to make a loan bid for Woodsy, must be a good reason for that. Sounds like it’s a completely dead deal.

Shame for him as he clearly wanted to go, but hope he motivates himself properly to push himself and us for a promotion fight.

Sam Byram on SLL confirmed

Honestly, the board and owners have done their bit, we really have no excuses now.

And the fact he's not very good as well.
Cardiff were keen on him before we moved in. You lot played him in a midfield three with John Lundstram next to him, no wonder the poor bugger didn’t show hIs best.

We’ve managed to get actual money for Horgan hahaha what a result. Lad was nowhere near good enough despite some of our fans absolutely rimming him for no reason, awful player

Got talent but he's not the required standard for a side with top 6 ambitions. Good luck to him, if Hibs play with out & out wingers he will do well.

He’s a headless chicken with absolutely no positional sense whatsoever. If his end product was good it would hide that but that’s gash too

Haha, won't find me arguing, think he will perform in the SPL/ League One though.

My mate Oliver Norwood is joining Sheff Utd on loan with a view to a 2m permanent transfer in Jan.

Great signing that, always been a fan of him

He needs somewhere to settle down. He's had 7 or 8 clubs already and still fairly young. Think Sheff Utd is a good move for him, Wilder seems good at getting the best out of players.

Was hoping we’d get him if Woods moved on. Great price for a good midfielder. Set pieces are a big weapon too.

Was expected to be our number 1 this season but after a dodgy pre-season it was decided to look elsewhere (Tim Krul). The feeling was he wasn't quite ready for the Championship yet but at his age he does need to be playing regularly and it's probably best for him to have some new surroundings and see if that can bring out the extra he needs to be a Championship keeper.

Good signing Norwood. We're signing Marvin Johnson from Boro too,no idea what he's like in all honesty.
