I don't think we'd pay it but if we or some other club bid 10m you would accept it imo.

As said, if you can prove that you turned 12m down from Stoke then fair enough. I searched "Ben Pearson Stoke 12m" on Twitter and two tweets come up from some random fan pages, and searched the same on google and found the square root of fuck all on it.

Haha, absolutely no chance. We'll get £10m+ for Robinson with a year left on his deal.

We didn't turn anything down from Stoke as far as i'm aware, we just quoted them close to £20m and they backed off.

By all accounts, the poster (Knighty) has got a fair few right previously but I take all these sort of comments as tongue in cheek, especially at this time of year. Strangely, he said it came from a contact at North end rather than BS3.
I genuinely have no idea TBH. Hell of a player though.

If there had been a bid or enquiry then it would be all over PNE Online by now, no one can keep a secret at Deepdale.

I said to Tom in a world where Ollie Norwood costs 2m and Ryan Woods costs 6m a player that just missed a quarter of the season because he’s an idiot for 10m wouldn’t represent good value for money.

Think you'd be lucky to get £10m for a player with only 12 months left on his deal / I doubt you'd hold out for that much, it just doesn't make financial sense.

We got £4m for a left back with 12 months left on his deal, and £10m for Hugill with 18 months left.

I think we'd risk running Robinson's deal down another 6 months, i'd rather have his goals for half a season than the money. Hopefully he signs on anyway.

Which is why no one will meet our valuation with at least another two years left on his deal.

If he sorts out his yellow cards then he'll be off, no problem but I won't hold my breath, he's mental.

All it takes is for a player to kick up a fuss and their valuation suddenly decreases.

If Pearson decides he wants to go and triple his wage in the Premier League or a club that have a better chance of doing so then I guarantee you that you won't be holding out for £20m for him.

He's not worth anything like that even in today's market.

We wouldn't play hardball with a Prem club and I very much doubt he'd kick up a fuss to try and move to Bristol City or Stoke.

He's worth what someone pays.

Hugill was worth half of what we got, if that, so was Cunningham considering his contract situation.

Looking at all of these numbers being banded about, I can't imagine how much Curtis Davies would've cost now in comparison to his £3m 2007 transfer.

About £12m-£15m seems going rate for a young British centre back.

Mepham £12m, Mawson £20m, Kelly £13m, Gibson £15m....

Some supposedly 'in the know' belter posted it on OTIB JJH. That's where I saw it.

Yep, that’s where I read it mate.

I’d say it’s very unlikely because a) we wouldn’t pay £15m and b) why would he move to a club in the same division if he’s really that good.

I don't doubt his ability but no side would pay daft money for him with his discipline record as has already been said.

I'd take Albert back. Isn't what he once was though

You might rather have a handful of goals than £10m but I'd be incredibly surprised if your chairman would feel the same!

12 months left on the deal crashes a players value. We only got £6m for Jota in the end having turned down £12m previously. Similar story with Woods, and a number of other players.

Bobby Reid went for 10m with one year left after scoring 20 goals. I'd be stunned if Robinson commanded a similar fee.

Hemmings seems to have more balls than the Brentford chairman when it comes to holding out.

As for Reid. Robinson bagged 12 in 24 starts and 3 sub appearances this season, if he didn't miss three months then his return would have been similar, and that's from the left wing.

He's performed at this level longer than Reid had, also a year younger than Reid was when he left and he's a full international.

Robinson won't be leaving this summer for less than £10m.

Well I'd be surprised if someone stumps up that sort of money. If they don't, you've got a player in January that any side can tap up for free, so it wouldn't be wise.

Bournemouth & Fulham have both shown interest.

Supposedly Bournemouth paid for his treatment/ recovery out in Dubai and a deal was made in principle, but they have a few targets in mind for that position, looks like they're missing out on Dan James though.

Hopefully he goes nowhere, signs a new deal and we put in a release clause that works for both parties.

Fat chance of that happening though unless you're matching what he could get elsewhere.

Strengthening rumours that we've landed Kalas on a permanent deal. That would be one hell of a signing, if correct. Serious sign of intent too. Great player and a perfect foil for Webster (how on earth did we get him so cheaply?).

You’ll probably also go down with him in net
I was going to quote Craig's post and post "said no Championship fan ever" but wondered if I'd missed some development.

Couldn't even tell you where he was last season, was he your third choice?

He might as well sign a new deal and get an increased wage for 6/12 months, if a Prem club want him then they won't be put off by paying £10-15m for him in January or next summer.

Ridsdale will have fun trying to tell his agent that.

Hemmings seems to have more balls in your made up world where you would hold out for £10m for Robinson.
