Like Southey says I want to see how the rest of the squad looks come August but I’ll more than likely be taking you up on that one.
Nice one mate.

A bollard could score 15 goals in League One with decent service.

I feel really sorry for you if this is the case. He’s absolute shite in the Championship. May well be decent in L1 but so were other strikers without any pace like Garner, Vaughan, Grigg etc.

Don't bad mouth Garner again or i'll throw acid on you.

Charlton’s right back looks decent. Wouldn’t mind us signing him, looks like a better and younger version of Mark Little.

Been a liability most of the season but the last month or so he’s turned into Cafu, brilliant to see the development.

Any chance you will look to sign young Purrington?
He's never really been given a chance to shine up here due to Joe Mattock being pretty consistent.
Warney says he is coming back preseason and will be welcomed back into the squad to fight for his place, I would have thought he would preferred to stay down South.

Our resident ITKer reckons 6 clubs interested in JJ, 3 bids so far, started at £7million. Fairly resigned to losing him which Im only ok with if we can keep Stacey and ramp the price up as much as possible. Would be nice if he stayed however we could really do with the money to reinvest in the playing squad and its a huge oppurtunity for him. And Jack Stacey is better anyway.

I'd have liked him given we need a left back but Da Silva for 2m or Justin for 7 is a no brainer.

Honestly no idea who our targets will be, don't even know who our owner or manager will be yet. Despite a great season and weekend, the club is still such a mess.

I wouldn't be adverse to looking at Purrington, was decent enough although I do think Lewis Page is better, just never fit. If Roland is still owner then it will never happen, he's still got a year left with you which will mean a fee.

Hopefully Dasilva fancies staying in London and a return to Charlton ;)

Is Dasilva really only costing £2m?? I’d be very surprised if true. No way Chelsea let him go that cheap.

Indeed, we had a pre-agreed deal before he joined which we've triggered so it's now down to him. The club are pretty confident on it though by the sounds of things.

13m for Kelly and Da Silva for just under 1/7th of the price is incredible dealing.

I was sceptical about his height wasn't I but very decent player on his day. In the 21s squad with Kelly for the WC or whatever tournament they're playing in next month.

His height might be the only reason he doesn't go all the way to the top because he is very good.

If you have pre-agreed £2m, that is some serious negotiating on your part. If he keeps progressing at the speed he is I'd expect him to be worth 5 times that in a year or two, at the very least.

Yeah we could sign him for that and sell him for an instant profit if we wanted to. Kalas will be more costly in terms of wages and fee, I sadly don’t think we’ll get him.

We've supposedly signed 2 lads on loan from City. Thought to be Aro Muric (Keeper) and Luka Ilić (AM)

Not been announced but a few ITKers have said as much, on our forum.

Christian Norgaard conformed, quality singing that, seems like we’ve stepped up a level if we’re signing players from clubs like Fiorentina

Expect we’ll be quite busy this summer, and a couple of players will head out funding most of it

Will this be the window where Lansdown says fuck it, let’s have a right go.

Now Villa are out the way, the division does look less threatening. Although it’s way too early to say, I can see it being very open next year.

I’d have said the same, but suppose he’s another one of the Chelsea loanee hoardes that have zero chance of progressing at that club. If he has a good U21 Euros that might change however.

QPR and Blackburn are chasing Adam Maher from AZ as he has said that he won't be renewing his contract there. Had a couple of caps for Holland but that's about all I know of him.

Free and 25 so fits into our philosophy as long as his wages are around £15k or less.

No idea why we're persevering with the Irish market but supposedly Sean McLoughlin from Cork is of interest, 22yr old defender.

Enjoy your pay increase and loan spells at Ross County & Crewe mate.

Guy is the epitome of a crock, we've had enough injury problems in the past two seasons, I don't want a guy who manages about 15 games a season. Plus we don't need him.

Looking online, I don't see us linked anyway, I think you mean Brentford.

We're one of a host of clubs linked to Charlton's Patrick Bauer.

That's more like it, played plenty of football, bit of a unit and an area we could do with strengthening.

This thread is making for depressing reading , a not so nice reminder of the state that the club is in.

I’m still on a high so avoiding this thread for another week or so I think.
