My apologies. I genuinely had no idea that this was common place for clubs round here.

We have never ever had a player come out so publicly and be so damming about our club. Is this a regular thing for Wolves? I was shocked when I read this to be honest.

I was outraged. I went 'Tsk!" and my saucer vibrated slightly. And players are always doing this at all clubs in one form or another.

Banter aside, last week I thought this was just his agent using Fulham to put pressure on Wolves over the new contract, and this week I think exactly the same. However, for KM to talk suggests he is pissed off with what he's been offered.

I think this will backfire on him. I genuinely think he likes Wolves and KJ has always talked him up, famously saying 18 months ago that he was building a team around him. But washing your laundry in public has always been particularly unpopular down our way.

The fundamental thing for us is not to pay over the odds for players. We have had serious financial problems three times in recent history, and going down to League 1 with a busload of players on PL salaries was ruinous. It's a situation Fulham may well want to consider before offering wonderful contracts to new players.

I hope McDonald stays. Good player and clearly the big influence on other players. But if he goes, he goes. If it continues in public, his popularity with the South Bank may disappear: it happened with Hennessy, Fletcher, Johnson, O'Hara.....

I would be more worried that a player from within is holding his club to ransom. At least we will see massive you are and what sort of deal Moxey can offer. Perosnally, I don't mind if we don't get him. Sounds like an easily influenced person after seeing all the trouble he's causing at little old wolves. Wolves fans are furious and rightly so.

Massive fan of McDonald and what he offers, not that troubled by that story if I am honest, it looks more like a "I want to stay but want you to pay me what other clubs will" type of article. And he is right when he says Fulham are a massive club, they are the Michael Jackson of the championship I'd say.

So after a 2 minute google search, shock horror at what I stumbled across...

Maarten Stekelenburg http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Maarten-Stekelenburg-wants-leave-Fulham.html

Dimitar Berbatov http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/04/dimitar-berbatov-leave-fulham-january-agent

Bryan Ruiz http://www.fulhamweb.co.uk/news/bryan-ruiz-very-unhappy-at-fulham.aspx

Askham Dejagah http://talksport.com/football/fulham-star-unhappy-after-relegation-14061696616

You're either a shit WUM or someone who doesn't know much about their own club. If McDonald really wants to leave Wolves I'm sure he'll let KJ know in private. Were not the sort of club to be held to ransom from internet gossip pages. Also for the bit in bold... damning? He wants a better contract to stay which which he is perfectly reasonable, just like any other player.

With Price signing a contract extension yesterday and Evans being talked about going out on loan it looks to me that the plans are for Price, Coddy, McDonald to be the considered midfielders, or at least a replacement for McDonald. Usually it would bother me but KJ seems too autistic to worry about fan opinion and so I just let him get on with what ever he wants.

Watch out here comes Mr Angry again on a google rant and will claim you aren't bothered when you clearly are. LAWLZ.

Oh dear. This is fantastic. Every player you just named we didn't want anyway. Their contracts were never wanting to be renewed and were on too much money not too little. Going public served both us the club and the player. We needed to get rid and to my knowledge you don't want McDonald gone. Totally different.

Grant ward from Tottenham has been training with us, don't know anything about him, quick google search says Udinese and Deportivo were after him and he was on loan at Columbus Crew and Coventry last year.

'LAWLZ' ... ok now I know I'm dealing with a 12 year old if it wasn't apparent before, infact you're probably that Kit Symons troll from the old forum. Do you just accuse everybody of being 'angry' who calls you up on your bullshit that you type? 2/10 for effort.

You should read your post again:

--- "We have never ever had a player come out so publicly and be so damning about our club. Is this a regular thing for Wolves? I was shocked when I read this to be honest." ---

I listed 5 players which proved your statement to be bullshit, and now you're trying to change the subject to "yeah we didn't want them anyway so it doesn't matter". Still doesn't change the fact they wanted to leave your club buddy. I'll reiterate for you, if / when Kevin McDonald comes out and says he wants a transfer away from the club then I'm sure we'll let him go if the price is right for the club, I'm sorry but I'm not exactly fretting with fear that the mighty Fulham FC might steal our players away judging from some self fabricated media story.

Feeling the fury. Relax its just transfer rumours. Probably won't even happen. Blood pressure. Think of the blood pressure.

Self fabricated though? It's nothing to do with us. It's your player who is meant to be wanted by his own club but feels the opposite. It's your issue. Not ours. Offer him a a decent contract - job done

Osede signing for Bolton and Thorpe signing for Rotherham are the two that have interested me most outside of Derby so far.

Also would argue that Dyche has proven to be a success in the transfer window. When he was linked with our job that was the one thing that made me want to look elsewhere. Juke, Sordell and whatnot in the Premier League was just barmy! Wasn't most of Burnley's best players - Ings, Trippier, Shackell..etc - signed by Howe? I could be wrong, but Heaton seems to be his only outstanding signing!

'Feeling the Fury'? 'Mr Angry'? 'Blood pressure'?

May I ask why you start each post with statements like these? Nobody is angry here. This is a football forum if you haven't noticed, its where people have debates about certain aspects of the game. Because I challenge you on one of your points doesn't mean I am 'angry'. Glad we cleared that up.

You made 2 bids for the player that were rejected, so in a way it does concern your club. I'll just quote my last post as I can't be bothered to type it in another context:

"I'll reiterate for you, if / when Kevin McDonald comes out and says he wants a transfer away from the club then I'm sure we'll let him go if the price is right for the club"

I'll revisit this topic if there is any update on Kevin McDonald, but for now this going around in circles business is starting to bore me.

Is this Kevin McDonald fella any good? I've always thought of him as a pretty standard, bang average Championship midfielder.

I haven't seen him all that often, but I wouldn't be running out to swap Bryson, Hughes, Thorne or Hendrick for him.

He's decent enough for us, I think he's better than the 'bang on average' midfielder you give him credit for (as he showed when he ran the game as we beat you last season at Molineux). Personally I'd have him over Thorne, Bryson or Hendrick as I don't rate them that highly either, would say Hughes has potential to be better though.

Middlesborough looking likely to get Stewart Downing. Seemed revitalised last season - Bilic obviously doesn't fancy him. Surprised.

Sammy Ameobi's sister has broken news of his move to Cardiff City as well. Thanks twitter.

Aww bless: when your players do the same, it's **different**! .And just love the affected metropolitan "LAWLZ". So cute. So West London luvvie. I'm sure you do a great Mockney accent too. :bravo:

McDonald behaved similarly when he left Sheff Utd and pissed off a lot of people there too. Do you think he will be different at any other club? The pattern suggests it's him, not the club.

I like McDonald and we will certainly miss him but hey if he fits your wage structure and your style of play, good luck with him. I really thought he'd leave for a big club but no doubt he'll get used to playing in front of smaller, quieter crowds in time.

If he's better than Thorne and less injury prone then I would piggyback him around Europe to get him to sign for Derby. I genuinely cannot remember him to be honest but we dominated possession that game and I thought that was his game?

Thorne is our best player, when he's fit, for me so he's going to be some signing for Fulham if he joins.

Just seen he was Scottish too, after doing a bit of digging around, but hasn't been capped by the senior side. I'd guess that their national team hierarchy rate Bryson a touch higher based on that. Not that I'm disagreeing as I've never noticed him when he's played against us or on the tele so don't have much of an opinion.

Downing would be a cracking signing for Middlesbrough but I can't see why he would step down a division. He's a Premier League player in his own right. Although a reported four year deal on nearly 60k a week is not to be sniffed at.

You would think a whole host of Premier league sides would be interested especially the sides coming up. Had a great season

Apparently so.

Downing turns 31 later this month but Boro are willing to offer a four-year deal worth in excess of £55,000 a week and offer £6million plus add ons to West Ham.

I don't mind it, takes the emphasis off our spending. Boo Boro!

Alex Baptiste is an absolute rancid signing though!

That would be absolutely and completely ridicolous. They would end up with a 34/35 year old winger on £60k a week. Lol .

I would be amazed if we sold Judge. He went under the radar last season for us what with Jota and Prtichard etc getting the limelight but was probably player of the season for me before he got injured.

This was my first thought as well. Only thing would be if he's not in your new managers plans, and he wants to recoup a bit of cash after the recent big spending.

Alan Judge, now that'd be an impressive signing. A rare rumour this summer.
