Tom Ince being linked.

Not the most inspiring signing

But always seems to score against us or play well .

3 year contract at 31!

Not sure about that

Signed Julio Pleguezuelo from FC Twente. Looks a good signing on paper. Last game for them he scored when they beat Ajax. Finished 5th in Eredivise the season just gone.

Today you have signed a player who last season played in the FA Trophy and today we have signed a player who turned down Europa League football and was part of the best defence in the dutch top division. Go back to where you belong
See you next season :P1:

LOL. And a £50K fee too.

If this isn’t a club without a plan, I don’t know what is.

Sounds like Lowe is signing another one of his Scouse mates, Connor Grant on a free from Plymouth. Sounds like injury-prone shite.

Pretty obvious Lowe is getting a cut from these guys who all have Wasserman as their agent.

Yep. Injured pretty much all of last season. Decent player in L1 when fit and given a run of games but not sure he’d be able to step up to the Championship. He had 2 seasons here where he was fit and 3 where he had injuries which limited his playing time.

We have an anyone will do (cheap) approach to backup players. It's a good job Robbie Brady is robust and we'll get 46 games out him then, eh?...

Big step down from Alvaro Fernandez, but I suppose Calvin Ramsay is a step up from no one last season. PNE swings & roundabouts.

Assume this will be a 1yr or 1+1 contract, I'd hope anyway.

To be fair, we’ve had a couple over the last few years come highly rated from the Dutch league who looked like they should be playing in the FA Trophy.

It really doesn’t surprise me Ryan Lowe is signing one of his mates. We were linked to Ben Woodburn so I wasn’t surprised he ended up with you. We were also linked to scouser Bobby Duncan & any young player from Rangers when Gerrard was there.

Doesn’t half try and make sure his fellow scousers are sorted out with a job.

Great lad (Grant not Lowe obviously) but he would surely only be backup to the backups in your squad. Lovely left foot on him when he has plenty of time and space a few times a season.

Unless we pull out some banging loans, I can see us troubling the bottom three this season tbh. Early days mind

The Millers returned to training today and announced that Lee Peltier and Shaun Morrison have signed 1 year extensions for this coming season.
Not Championship headline signings but both experienced, steady players who if they can keep fit will be an asset to the team.
It sounds like Conor Washington will be following Warne to Derby and rumours are that he will be replaced by Billy Sharp.

We'll see.

Daniel Johnson and Josh Onomah have left.

We won't replace DJ, imagine a bunch of teams will happily throw £20k a week at him.

Tom Ince signed.

A 2 year contract which makes more sense.

Hopefully can perform for us like he used to v us!

No doubt when we next look for a new manager his Dad's name will crop up which is a worry.

Ogbene to Luton as a free agent, good luck to the lad, he owes us nothing and played a big part in our survival.
Just glad he hasn't followed the well worn path to Paul Warne or worse still carried on last year's migration to Hillsborough.

Two signings today, Tyler Blackett has agreed a 1 year contract following his 3 month stint at the end of last season. He wasn't all that fit but looked to be a good player so I'm quite pleased with that.

The other signing is Dan Green who rejoins Matt Taylor as first team coach, after working with Aston Villa U23s.
Listening to his interview, he certainly comes across as an intelligent, articulate guy.

What are we getting here? I see he is reported as being a winger but given we dont play with them Im wondering if its a RWB type signing or he is more envisaged as a a Centre Forward.

He is definitely better further up the field rather than wing back but he can play there if needed.
He has also played as a number 10 particularly when Michael Smith was here.

He was MOM for Ireland against France so he is nobodies fool.

He is great with the fans and a good ambassador for the club with the biggest smile since Emlyn Hughes.

He might not be the world beater you might have been hoping for but he's brave, pretty quick and always puts a shift in for the team wherever he plays.

He goes with the blessing of the vast majority of Millers fans, we will miss him greatly.

We’ve supposedly had a couple bids rejected for a lad from the A League. Our recruitment so far for the most part seems to be looking at players further afield - outside of the UK. Which is no bad thing given we’ll likely have the smallest budget in the League.

Also linked with Josh Key from the scum up the road, wouldn’t be against that, good player.

Duane Holmes from Huddersfield is being mentioned again. I just remember him always looking very busy, and having a little bit of pace, but not sure what his real strengths are.

Argyle have signed Kaine Kesler-Hayden on a season-long loan from Aston Villa. Not sure what to expect other than his circumstances at Huddersfield were quite peculiar last season

Reece James signs permanently after a loan spell last season. Tidy footballer, bit lightweight but generally happy with that.
