Edit, as above, Kermorgant to Reading. Considering the whole heap of championship clubs after him, they've obviously put something together to tempt. Charlton have long looked favourites.

If Charlton and Bristol City were our competition it wouldn't have been too difficult? Just give him the guarantee that we won't be in League One next season.

Also, I haven't really seen the solid rumours yet, but imagine we'll be doing a transfer, and they may have gone in on loan?

Though if Bournemouth are having a clearout of strikers, I would much rather Murray.

Cotterill confirming another one turned them down as they couldn't match their wage demands. You couldn't match Zach Clough's wage demands?!?

Most clubs tend to sound this stuff out early on, not piss about for days on end.

That's utter bollocks. Many journalists reported that we offered an extortionate package.

Easy way out to say that isn't it - Lansdown said we could match both Gayle and Gray's wages, Cotterill said otherwise.

I love how Cotterill states a fact, and Bristol City fans just carry on believing what they want.

Bristol City are paupers man we're paying Leon Best 13k a week

13k a week for Best seriously? I find that hard to believe that we would pay somebody that much a week who has struggled to find a club because of injury problems, i bet he's getting 5k a week tops.

In a perfect world he would be but he's not.

If were paying him that much a week then we are a disgrace, he's better off in bed because he's shite and always injured, only 5 digit wage he should get if its got pence on end.

Because it's not a fact, it's another cheap excuse. If our owner says we could afford Dwight Gayle's wages, I'm sure we'd have had no problem covering 20 year old Zach Clough's. Given Lansdown is the money man and Cotterill is merely the manager I'm inclined to believe Lansdown.

You should hear SC every time we lose in his pre-match interviews, he'll comes up with some ridiculous excuses and comes as an extremely bitter man. He blamed the wind a few weeks back.

Not really. It's all about value for money. Dwight Gayle is a proven striker, who has scored at the top level who you would go out of your way to offer more to, if you could. Clough has played 20 games, and is not proven. A prospect, that is all.

There would have been a limit for each, and you couldn't meet a standard Championship wage.

That sounds pretty low, surprised it's been accepted.
Probably only would have got 2 or 3 at a tribunal plus we're not going anywhere this season so no real point holding off (as far as the owner is concerned anyway).

Read around - he got an excellent offer here, his dad admitted that, and his agent was trying to push the move through. Cotterill's chatting bollocks as per.

Burnley also interested if you believe the press, but I'd guess location is a factor there. But yes other have mostly been loan offers. This looks like a transfer.

I'm no huge fan of Murray, and I'll be very sorry to see Yann leave. Although he deserves first team football which he won't get here anymore. Theres magic in those boots of his, and assuming it all goes through, you'll enjoy it.

You say Robbo talks shit when he says we have no money but I can garuntee we aren't paying anyone over £10K a week. We have a wage cap too, and it clearly is t as high as yours. In fact, I don't know how yours is that high.

Confirms what he said at the start of the season to me, that we will have the smallest budget in the league.

2 permanent signing in 18 months, and one of those left after 25 days.

They way this club is being run is a shambles.

Kermorgant is 34 isn't he? Meh if we weren't so short in numbers I'd be quite happy we missed out but as we struggling to have 3 fucking subs this weekend I guess I should be disappointed.
Past caring to be honest.

Shocked there's anyone on £10k+ at Rotherham, even when we were getting in the play-offs in this league on higher crowds we only had two players on over £10k, Nugent and St Ledger. Not sure we'll ever break that level again unless we miraculously got promoted. I imagine Beckford and Gallagher will be our highest earners and I reckon they're earning £8k a week, maximum.

Surprised your ceiling is that high. That's our ceiling. Only one of ours is over £10k at the moment, and that's Bjelland.
