He said he was alright, not decent. Come on Stevie, learn to read eh?

They are 3 'past it' players looking for one last payday (in reference to Becchio and Burke, Shinnie is just poor). As M-Dogg also puts it, your transfer policy is just to sign a lot of deadwood players and pray it's enough to keep you up each season. Not sure if you'll be so lucky with that approach this season.

You will regret ever questioning Becchio.

Only back for that one gloating post.

With games coming up we'll be out of sight by March.

Laugh away.

Dack didn't fancy the big lights of Bristol aswell? Joke of a club.

Steve Evans making his usually quality January signings.

Watch Leeds surge up the table.

I refuse for the word deadwood to be used in the same sentence as Camp and Derbyshire. Quality.

Not heard owt about a fee but signing today.

Despite M Dogg saying Burke is decent and Birmingham fans all over #rufc commenting on Shinnie's quality, you've come up with that.

Typical you, wouldn't know a decent player if you saw one.

Proven championship quality in Shinnie and Burke or that flop Gladwin, fuck me Bristol fans will probably agree with me.

Just seen the blasphemy about Becchio, certifies what I think about you. He bagged in 2 in 5 for us last year, unfit and overy eight, god knows how much havoc he can cause now. Stick to NFL.

Alright and Decent is same in my book.

You will regret ever questioning Becchio.

*sigh*

Glad Diagouragas gone now, he's good on his day but that day hasn't for a fair while now. Don't want players here who aren't commited to the cause either.

He was last year, but it seems to be a bit of a one off. His attitude has been terrible since the summer, and he's been a big part of why our form is so bad at the monent.

Hope we get something like £1.5-2m for him

No chance of getting that much mate, think the fee is 600K

I'll hold you to that, another one of your ridiculous forecasts.

Considering the fact we never even had a bid accepted there's no way he could have turned us down, despite what Edinburgh spouts.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion Becchio is shit, he has hardly played in the last two years so what do you base your judgement on?

He may or may not work out but shit is the one thing he has never been.
That's your evidence: if he was still good he would have been playing somewhere. Unless he's been injured, which isn't much better.

He has been injured, but I don't think that constitutes as evidence of being "shit" just that he has been unlucky.

He is being given a chance until the end of the season, if he can't get back to his best the most we lose is 5 months wages.
What's to lose?

Diagouraga is going to Leeds. Odd, isn't he Brentford's lynchpin in the middle?

My favourite player, so it's a bit sad to see him go. Was incredible last season, but Toumani has a habit of perfectly fitting into any side he's playing in seamlessly. Last season we put together a good team and played great football, therefore Toumani was excellent. This season we've been listless and lacking in leadership, and suitably Toumani has been poor.

It depends on how Leeds play - if they carry on as they are, then he probably won't make much of an impact. If they perform well and start playing good stuff, then he'll up his game. Wouldn't agree with MagieBee as to his attitude, as one of the reasons he's been my favourite player has been his professionalism. Toumani has simply reverted back to his old self over the past few months and hasn't been great.

I don't think he's shit, just that if he's been out for most of the last couple of years then he's going to find it hard to reach his former level. I think it's unlikely that's he's going to do well for you, but I agree it's a risk worth taking.

Risky signings are all we have TBH.
We can't compete with other Championship clubs for fees and wages so we have to take a risk here and there and
hope we get lucky.
How is Hyam doing BTW, any chance he will come back to us this season?

Maddison and Diagouraga would be class buys for Leeds.

I thought Diagouraga was a good signing until reading this thread [emoji38]

Not sure how we are going to play though as we already have Bridcutt this season at least...those two and Cook is not very attacking so we shall see. Guess it depends if we flog Cook.

Jonny Williams signed on a 93 day loan. Very happy with that!

McCormack's supposedly refusing to play for Fulham again (ever) in an attempt to force through the Boro move.

If he hasn't moved by Deadline Day then he will, trust me.
