Nope. Scott Brown is. Next.
Although i agree that Scott Brown is an excellent keeper, the Grimsby lad Mckeown is the best I have seen at this level. The modern day fetish for sweeper keepers or whatever is against him as his kicking aint the best.

I've never known such a meltdown from a fan after his team has won. It's really been an epic one from him this week.

In fairness it has riled the whole fan base Mr Kettle's performance but at least we are consistent win, lose or draw with a bad referee, its one of what if he had cost us the game? Referee's have been clueless this season.

Beat me to it mate.
I get Kettle is a prat and some decisions were contentious but good grief it is a good job we didn't lose.

Can we just move on, we got the 3 points.
I'm as rose tinted as the next man, our first red is nailed on. Maybe the Pope 2nd yellow is a bit iffy and the FGR lad rolling about holding his face didn't help. Quite simply Pope gave Kettle an option when he had no need to.

3 days later and we still wittering on about it.
And breathe..............................

Joycey wasn't back for one game only was he - I still remember his screeches genuinely hurting my ears in the 15/16 game at TNL.

Of course, he's a good lad these days now he's Cheltenham's media manager

What was the home reaction when he first brought in those blanket in your face changes?
By that time the club had been vegetarian for many years and the fans just shrugged their shoulders when it went vegan.
I make sure I have a good fry up at home before I go to match.

I genuinely don't understand why people use the veganism as a thing to beat FGR with - it's up to them what they sell, you either buy it or you don't.

Don't get me wrong, I love a big greasy, meat-filled burger, but I'll just have one elsewhere and not eat at the ground.

Don't see the issue with it myself, if they want to stick by their guns with it fair play, its like most things, as long as you don't thrust it in everyone's face there should be no problem with choices in life.

Its when people are strapping themselves to trains or blocking airports that things grate as its stopping other people living to their life choices.

Bizarre, I was only asking after Joycie yesterday.
Haven't thought of him since he attended former chairman Trevor Horsley's funeral.
Joycie is still very highly thought of at TNL with many friends.
I think everybody knew he would end up with Cheltenham when he left FGR. I'm sure he is doing a bloody good job there as he did while with FGR.
I wish him well.

Its like that bellend Piers Morgan having a hissy fit because Greggs choose to sell Vegan sausage rolls. As you say just don't buy it! - in this instance it worked against him as the sales in Greggs went up, haha!

Some football fans could do without stuffing their fat faces for a couple of hours anyway. Last match I went to I could barely fit into my seat as this fat mess was sprawled into my space.

Pull the seats down either side of you and spread out into them?

I hate when we have full-houses at Whaddon Road (stop laughing, we still have them every now and then) - the number of times I have to get people to move out of my seats is infuriating.

One guy recently told me to just sit somewhere else - I mean, I picked a specific seat for my season ticket so how about fuck off!!

Now that is something!
Last season FGR supporters were told they must sit on same numbered seat as on ticket or face being booted out of Whaddon Road.
Don't know the reason but it worked because it quietened the Green Army until half time when they all moved to same area of the away block. Then the place got really noisy.

You're failing to take into account the thousands of fans they're going to attract from the M5 corridor from Tewkesbury right down to North Bristol.

It must be true, and FGR fan (not Chris, I hasten to add) told me about it on here about 4 years ago...

Haha.... let all the various bands of 'travellers' know there will soon be a new venue for them to exploit - see if SoyBoy forgets his roots.

I’d never noticed much issue with him before with us but has often heard the horror stories!

Lady Vale now there’s a blast from the past... Stuart Tomlinson meltdown prior to him becoming Hugo Knox in NXT and Rupert Paddington Gomez in the erotic modelling scene...

All I’m sure very profitable on the side for Tomo not good when his chest is so solid that any long range shot he tries to smother bounces of it for a tap in!

Last 2 games have seen the ‘shit football is alright when you win’ argument really hammered home. As it stands now I wouldn’t want Curle managing us next year (contract up in the summer) and it’s a bit reactionary but I think we’ve got a serious battle on to hold on to our playoff spot.

This is classic Curle. He did exactly this with us, only we were in the top 3 before our collapse. We just turned to shit after Christmas and when the results weren’t coming the complaints about the standard of football were more frequent. We stayed in the playoffs by the skins of our teeth but our form going into them was dire and fans were not happy.

The consensus of our fans was the same, not wanting Curle as manager next season, he’s taken us as far as he can, we want better football etc. All I’ll say is be careful what you wish for. We wouldn’t be in this shit if we still had Curle. He has his faults and the football is shite but at least he can put a team together that’s too tough to be anywhere near trouble over a season.
