Thought we were gonna fuck it up at 2-0!

Huge three points, asking a huge amount of Southend and Grimsby but I won't rest easy until it is done mathematically.

Wow. We hung on a bit there. What a result. First team to beat them at their place this season. We are still unbeaten midweek this season. Nice gap to Tranmere/Morecambe now. If those outside playoffs win their games in hand Tranmere may not even get playoffs

Brilliant performance from us - we played defensively, but never really felt too threatened by Exeter. Very strange that they took off their two best players at 1-0 down...

That's us safe, I'm sure.

Great win for Bolton at Salford. It looks like 2 wins should do it as our goal difference is worth a point.

Tranmere looked toothless again. Morecambe on the charge but still have to play Bolton. Still very difficult to call.

Good point, but probably played well enough to win. Can’t complain though, a point at Newport is always a decent result.

Bradford, 3 good saves from our keeper, one smacked off the post and a few high and wide.

Crawley, 2 goals, one penalty not given, 1 good save from the keeper and 1 off the line....oh a cheeky chip that had the keeper worried for a second or two.

Oh, I thought the ref must have decided that 50-50 challenges were going Crawley's way. The Bradford lads were getting very angry about it. The frustration showed when a couple of tackles at the end were bordering on nasty.

Think our centre halfs, McNerney and Tunnicliffe were men of the match. A goal each and did their jobs well all game.

Yeah the Bolton Morecambe game is massive for us now. Glad we have a gap to 4th now though. Gives us a bit of room for error. 3 wins needed from 5. I'd defo take a draw with Morecambe now with the table as it is.

Only got ourselves to blame. Can we hold on to a play off place? Not with more performances like that.

Once again Walsall full value for their 3 points against us and a great strike too..

Bit of a disappointment for us because we had so many chances to score. Although I did say we had to be winning to stay in the playoff chase, I didn't really expect all the other results to go our way, but Exeter and Salford both losing means it's a tiny step in the right direction rather than a step backwards.

A set of results that massively benefited FGR, who didn't play and dropped a place but remain in a play-off position. :bg:

Not with that idiot Hill in charge. Rock and Roll football. Tone deaf springs to mind if that is rock and roll to him.

Always Wembley in the play offs and theres more good news you will fit all your season ticket holders in as you will get 2000 tickets

Salford were quite good after going behind. Maintained quite a high intensity. They didnt create any amazing chances but made it hard to play out. Lowe had a solid game.

Nice to know we have a cushion to take a bit of pressure off. So many teams get in the automatic position and throw it away.

Grimsby need to win 4 and draw 1 from 6
Southend need to win 3 and draw 1 from 5
that's to get to 47...
46 is no good to either of them with their goal difference

I seem to remember there was a lot of positivity towards him a few months ago. Not specifically from you but generally from the Tranmere fans. He didn't really get a fair crack of the whip for us so I can't really judge him. Did well at Rochdale. Vaughan injury came at the worst time for you when you looked like you might have some momentum

We’re 3 points behind 6th and 7th. Our GD is better than FGR and the same as Newport’s.

The next two games are tough, probably as tough as they could be, but if we can come out of those two games still within 3 points of 7th, we’ve a chance.

Tonight’s performance should hopefully give us some belief for our remaining away games.

Hopefully Port Vale will decide they don't really need to be winning all these games and take their foot off of the gas

A frantic second half that produced 4 goals with some of the worst defending I've seen this season from 2 teams including 2 careless goalkeeping errors (One for either side), a penalty save and both sides missing good chances to win the game on another terrible pitch which contributed to some amusing mistakes from both sides.

A draw probably the right result, but we was lucky in the first half not to be 2-0 down with Harrogate missing 2 sitters, but Danny Johnson should really have won it for us when he missed a free header at the very end.

A shame to squader the lead twice - the second goal 2mins after Vigouroux saved a penalty, but I thought we didn't adapt to the conditions well enough, a terrible pitch and we persisted on trying to play out from the back a bit too much and made several careless errors. Having said that Harrogate also suffered from it.

The results tonight were kind to us, which means if we can beat both Barrow and Cambridge in our next 2 games we can put pressure on those who have a game in hand on us, but the truth is we ain't quite up to it. If we maintain a top half finish we've still had a good season and made progress with this team - The majority of which have come up from the National League.

20 goals now for Danny Johnson and 15 I believe for Conor Wilkinson - Both out of contract and IMO both unlikely to be here come August.

Great result for barrow, massive favour for us.

That’s them 100% safe now.

However, I think chipmunk’s dream of finishing above Carlisle isn’t going to happen. Too late I think.
