“MK Dons have won just three of their last 21 away league games against sides from Yorkshire (D7 L11), conceding 3+ goals in each of their last five such matches."

BBC Sport

Fucking Yorkies. Well one of the last Yorkshire teams we beat was Harrogate, 3-5 back in April (our last away win), so possibly fate we will finally get an away win tonight…

Have that you Yorkshire dripping puds.

Last away league win in April: Harrogate Town 3-5 MK Dons.

Tonight, first away league win of the season: Harrogate Town 1-5 MK Dons.

Scott Lindsey > Mike Williamson

Harrogate Town 4-10 MK Dons

Ripley cost us three points there. Why the fuck would you palm it back into the middle of the goal? The one thing a keeper is taught not to do. Tolaj should have done a better job staying onside for the disallowed goal too.

Either way one more point than we had at the start.

assisted by an atrocious set of officials

Bad for both sides, letting so many fouls go, then booked two of our players whilst running away from a free kick because your players purposely kicked the ball at their backs and then complained they were in the way!

We weren't great after we scored, kept giving it away. But Colchester got what they came for, a point. Absolutely disgusting antics from them and after we scored it showed that they actually weren't that bad. Tovide is an absolute weapon...he should be embarrassed with himself and Lyle Taylor joining in too. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Cowley side. Oh well, 5 unbeaten but we really should have beaten a pretty limited Colchester side.

They've been doing it way before the Cowleys. It's ingrained in their DNA.

Fair play to us here making this a contest, abysmal second half - not sure why Maynard is willingly stood watching Abbott and Austin running in treacle
Abbott could have done with a bit of a rest on the hour.
Hard fought win in the end, Bass is looking a fantastic signing.

Expertly running the clock down here Artell masterclass this. What a fucking result this is.

What a great result that is.

Only saw the second half and it was a masterclass in defending a 1-0 lead. Gillingham had pretty much all of the ball but I don't remember the keeper having to make a single save, did Gillingham even have shot?

New keeper is excellent at kicking the ball too.

3 wins on the bounce since god knows when in Lge 2, and 2 away, with a clean sheet to boot!
What a win and performance that was. Notts/Chesterfield fans if you're still feeling frustrated about your defeats you might get some satisfaction by borrowing my MarinersTV login to watch the extended highlights as it sounds like we basically did to them what they did to you. Took our only big chance and then just let them come at us and defended really well. Smith, Cass, McJannet, Rodgers, Green, McEachran, Khouri and Rose all quality but especially McJannett, Khouri and Green.

A third consecutive backs to the wall, digging deep performance. Testament to us that we reduced Gillingham to the side that a few of their fans on here said they weren't under Bonner. Still a lot of progression for this squad and Artell to go through but the signs that things are clicking are really starting to show now.

Top two losing that feels a massive opportunity missed.

Losing Byers is a massive blow but Colchester didn’t have a sniff and we’ve switched off.

Sides that get promotion win that tonight

Something tells me that weird Gillingham fan won’t be logging in and replying with hundreds of laughing face emojis to every post tonight

Well in Mariners

9 games in mate, wouldn’t be worried about missed opportunities.

First ‘professional’ type performance since 22/23 tbh. No one had a bad game but neither side created much at all and we defended pretty well for the most part, which makes a change. Kieran Green continues to surprise us all. Thought the refs were shit and we absolutely time wasted but that didn’t stop Gills appealing for absolutely everything. Pyke and Khouri’s bookings were incredibly harsh.

Onto a tricky Donny fixture.

Watched the Gills v Grimsby game as I was interested to see what the Alex were up against on Saturday. Grimsby clinical, took their only real chance. But defensively they made few mistakes and restricted a very average looking Gills team to not much in front of goal.

As for Gillingham, I've seen the comments from other fans and clearly they aren't as bad as they looked tonight, but they just look so average. Not much pace outside of Clark on the left, not much in the way of physicality, height, technical ability. They're obviously a strong side when leading, but big question marks over them when chasing a game.

Credit to Grimsby, battled well and deserved the 3 points.

Yes you pretty much did, and fair play to you for it, you played the game in a way that got you the result so no complaints from me.

Great away win notched up, coincides with Jatta returning to the side.

Struggled as expected, too many players in need of a rest I think. Disappointed to lose so late on but it is what it is.

Did he ever play like that at Crewe ? Early on i thought it was just the tika taka thing but he's actually become pretty adaptable with the system and playing style ; i thought it would always be a rigid 4-3--3 just knocking it about tbh .

Fair play to Artell

Well done Cods, great result.

Back to second after that last 30 mins haha. Having a decent keeper is pretty important isn’t it?

To be fair, Tovide going down like he's been snipered every five minutes is nothing to do with Cowley as he's always been like that. Spends more time looking for a scrap and throwing himself to the ground than he does trying to score, he's embarrassing. It's particularly frustrating with him though as he has all the attributes to make a really good career for himself in the game.
Couldn't handle him when he actually decided to play but lucky enough for us that was only for 20 mins or so. He may be the worst I've ever seen for it.

Draw fair result in the end for me as we didn't do enough to win it and you were piling on the pressure when behind. Why on earth Crowley didn't turn up for 3 points I don't know.

Frustrating night, hope Byers isn't too badly injured.

Are Gillingham fans are the same every year against us, or is it just every game? I’ve never known a fan base moan so much at decisions that are quite blatantly correct. It was exactly the same last year.

Brilliant from us yet again, 3 on the spin now.

I wonder what the cash out on Stockys bet is now

All I can think is we've conceded four at Wimbledon, three at Morecambe and then four again at Walsall on Saturday, whilst also losing Edwards and Bishop at Walsall, so tonight was more of a hard reset and trying a different approach on the road as we certainly haven't seen anything like that so far.

Before the weekend I'm sure we'd had more shots on target than anybody in the EFL so hopefully back at home this Saturday we'll look much better again.

Have to add andi hope this isn't dismissed as sour grapes...as for all the cheating tonight it didn't actually result in a goal and when they scored they were the better team...but players like tovide are genuinely a stain on the game. A fraud. He robbed 4.5k fans of a game of football and we really should be calling it out more (I'm glad the col u poster on here has).

Wide open this season innit

still think Vale, Gills, Donny and MK are strongest on paper over an entire season but Fleetwood look ominous, us and Barrow are hanging around and Walsall, Chesterfield and Wimbledon all look like top 7 sides as well.

No idea how Grimsby are on 15 points!

Decent away stuff from us. Dominated for an hour then grimly clung on playing every trick in the book. Managed to keep it to half chances in that time to be fair. I’m fucking hammered, you pies.
