Usually it's points on board over games in hand any day for me, but in this case I agree with Laker. We're only 3 points better off Carlisle but with 4 games in hand, and tbh I don't see the Cumbrians not taking at least the 4 points they need to overtake us at the top. I'm not saying this is what's gonna happen but even one win, a draw and two losses would be enough to reclaim top spot. They could get beat tonight and I would still say they should be able to take the 4 points they need.

Anyway, I'm rooting for a Carlisle win or failing that a draw tonight. An Fgr win is exactly what we don't here at the real CUFC HQ :)

The club made mistakes with furloughing ground staff and it’s sadly backfired badly.

Despite masi’s lame attempts at trolling it is indeed tinpotedness of the highest order.

Maybe if bolton were still good, big, relevant etc they wouldn’t be subjected to enduring trips to little clubs like mansfield.

Nothing better than the whining of fans of clubs who were the above and believe theyre entitled to something different to the cold face of reality.

you pay some players excess of 100k a year yet you cannot employ a groundsman......dont think you are going to get anyone agreeing you on this.......The next time we play you we will have a lot stronger team than we can put out tonight.....Big game against Salford Saturday we move on

Lol at Adam and agree totally. It’s nice for the shoe to be on the other foot after being subjected to similar treatment as a BELT in non league.

Has been all season mate, Because of furlough etc no money has been spent on it this summer and only had 1 groundsmen on it all year trying to sort that and the training pitches. Will be sorted in the Summer and we aim to have a playing surface fit for the mighty 19th placed Bolton to play on

The latter.

Lots of possession, no penetration

It’s very boring. Forest Green playing tippy tappy football and Carlisle have 10 men behind the ball.

So off the pace tonight it’a frightening. I’d take 0-0 right now the way this game has gone. We’re second to everything in midfield, players just lacking sharpness and to be honest looking knackered after a tough game and a half.

Standard type of game for us, if teams don't press us we pass it around all day going nowhere. Carlisle seem happy to let us do that.

We don't have enough goals in us to stay up there. Been a problem all season.

Another thing to throw in the mix is the momentum and fitness we currently have. They have lost momentum and fitness and whether that affects them remains to be seen.

Another game called off for them this weekend really doesn’t help and given the fact we have moment and fitness on our side I wouldn’t swap places.

still on foreplay then.....

All foreplay and no penetration = zero satisfaction.

Sometimes when you're on top you just need to get the balls in deep and ram it in.

Don't worry Carlisle;- Cambridge couldn't beat us when they played us at home....

Bizarre start at Crawley.
First the ref gives Crawley a penalty for...absolutely no reason?
I mean, one of their strikers fell over in the box, but that's hands down one of the softest penalties anyone, anywhere will ever give.
Then the Crawley striker blast it against the bar so hard the ball leaves the ground.
Rightly so too as that was nearly game ruining from the ref.

They may have been good once, but have Bolton ever been truly relevant?

Maybe they can rent out some of the acres of under-soil heating they apparently have so they can raise a bit of much needed cash.

Not sure if its old radiation rods fitted under your pitch or the cowpats that are all over it, but you seldom have a game off
