Has he been charged for also saying in that interview that he wanted his player to 'go and foul' the keeper? Definitely backs up what I saw at EP and am glad Oates is the one who's out for several months instead of Hinchliffe.

Strange

Your boss said it's intentional policy. One of your lads hobbled Ethan Pye and tried a legbreaker on Horsfall shortly after, I'd also much rather he'd been the one injured instead of the intended victims. Don't see what's so hard to understand about that.

Leg breaker? Can tell you’re watching L2’s goody two shoes at the top of the fair play table if you think that’s a leg breaker. Fucking hell

I think given the posts forza must be on some poor wind up.

Either that or knows nothing about how football works.

Lapslie back to Mansfield off by sounds of things.

Not a great window for us, at least we’ve not lost any but we needed a striker anyway and that was before Oates got injured so bar Will Swan we’ve not got a great deal of pace in the side.

Not sure a team managed by Mr Challinor can condone any team for leg breaking tackles

Yep Challinor's thugs getting away with it this season, they're so good they've learnt how to foul under the radar.

Our injury status has gone from severe to substantial. Sounds like Flinty will be alright for tomorrow, a massive boost for us, especially with that fucking Jones whipping Beckhamesque crosses in all afternoon.

Aden Flint , the best defender in L2 this season and aka Lazarus. Miraculous recovery from the big fella.

My confidence will be significantly increased if I see the best defender in L2 in the starting line-up.

You don't want to rush back injured players especially not old players.

If he is then it was clearly Fake News.

Clough is now banned from the touchline for this game, our first team coach Andy Garner (who does the traditional assistant managers job on matchday) luckily has till Monday to respond to his charge so he can be on the touchline I believe before he gets punished too.

Is there a new rule in play regarding these bans? Parky had one for Blackburn but no one seemed to know until the day. For accumulated bookings apparently.

We traditionally have a slump in form around this time of year. The good thing is that isn't possible this season.

He can still make contact with the touchline via a device, so basically just on the phone for 90 minutes.

Shame that there doesn’t appear to have been any form of punishment to the ref who caused all this through his utter incompetence, think the lad would be chased out of town if he ever reffed at mansfield.

Parky will get several bans per year for accumulated bookings. One of the mouthiest managers out there.

God love him.

That’s fine, i can live with someone getting banned for that as he cares and committed, calling out someone legitimately as an incompetent fraud apparently isn’t allowed. Truth hurts.

Wasn't a penalty mate. Clough has made a prat of himself, sadly. No fool like an old fool.

Clough doesnt do stupid crawl back into your box
The FA certainly think he was. That's why they're going to throw the book at him.

His conduct at our place was nothing short of a disgrace. Barracking officials whilst one our players lay with a bleed on the brain. Not one bit surprised he's being collared by the lawmakers.

I've never had Nigel Clough down as stupid or a fool, ever. Dour, dull as dishwater, and a bit mardy yes but never a fool or stupid.

He does have a long history of questionable touchline antics. I don't mind that, especially when he gave Billy Davies an unexpected kneeing when he was managing at Championship level way back when.

Stop being silly. Clough didn’t get charged for the interview either.

Clough was literally told by his players it was a bad one so whatever was going off had nothing to do with that.

Makes it even worse that he knew it was bad. His conduct that day was awful. No surprise to see him behave like he did at Wimbledon. It's high blood pressure, you can tell by his bloated face. The stress of the game can't help at all but should it be inflicted on everybody else? He needs to go on tablets or take a break from the game. It could cost Mansfield.

Not sure what you’re on about he didn’t look stressed at stockport in the slightest, just a nice new years stroll.

I would like to take the time to congratulate Mansfield on their emphatic derby win tomorrow

Dear lord, what a sad little life, Mansfield. You ruined my night completely, so you could have the points. But I hope now you spend it on some lessons in grace and decorum, because you have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on
