Delighted with the point and well deserved, we came set up for a point and got it, as i mentioned earlier in the week orient didn’t have much about them.

Sounded a good game by the ref under constant pressure, though having seen our red that’s as red as they come.

Well earned and deserved point.

Oh yeah. I mean I switched off 20 minutes ago but until then it was complete hit into the sky and hope.
I don't think that's what beech is trying to get them doing but a combination of the wrong type of players in areas where they need to be collecting the ball, and too many late personnel changes means we aren't playing 'beechball' any more. We should be winning the ball in all sectors of the pitch and then hitting it into the third quarter of the pitch, getting it down and then passing it around.

Kayode, Tanner, Hayden and Patrick were perfect for that. Farman and Anderton as well come to think of it.

Another point. Keeps the unbeaten run going but it sounded like we weren't at the races today.
Still.

Deserved win that, had to dig in last ten minutes but for 80 minutes we were streets ahead. Only criticism is we made it less comfortable than it should of been.

Loved the Covolan shithousery too. We are learning.

I must say Lucas has obviously got some incredible powers of recovery after acting like he’d just had a grade three hamstring tear to then be back up for the goal kick. Remarkable…

But shouldn’t he recognise that we don’t have the players and change the approach ?

every man and their dog can see that you don’t get the best out of the likes of Clough by persisting with this.

Christ that was a truly horrific game of football.

Struggle to remember watching two teams so poor at the same time, good preparation for non league next year at least.

Port Vales shithousering was very laughable, completely unnecessary considering we wouldn't score if we played the game 5 times over. Pett rolling around trying to get Green sent off when nobody even touched him was embarrassing, don't know how grown men do it.

Mansfield will be thrilled with a draw there, Orient by far the better team in the second half, just couldn't convert, not being bitter but we should've had at least one penalty today.

Great away support from the stags, never really stopped signing and good drumming added to the atmosphere.

Feels like 2 points dropped today, but if we play like that every week we'll go up.

I don't think clough is the problem per se. Once we've won the ball in the opposition half then the way we were playing last season, he could have filled his boots. You do need players who are good both with he ball at their feet and in the air. Where's Toure at? I feel like we're crying out for him now, he's strong, good with the ball at his feet, tracks back and works hard, why is he not in the squad?

Tracks back and works hard? Are you talking about Gimi Toure? If so, really?

Definitely 2 points dropped today. Colchester were absolutely useless but we just don't have the cutting edge to be able to break these sides down. If we can up the tempo and find a way to be more dangerous in the final third we'll do well. Until then, probably mid-table to an attempt at a play off push. No wins in 4 now (3 draws)

2nd half was OK. First half - I would have had more fun rearranging my sock drawer.

Great result at Scunny for us. Three on the bounce now. Sounds like it was fairly scrappy at times but those are the kind of wins good teams will pull off.

Sets up what should be a great game with Orient next time out.

Good away performance, thought we played well and were very professional, Scunthorpe reminded me a bit of Southend last season, as Yates said on the commentary it was like once we got ahead they just wanted to lose 1-0, no urgency and seemed all over the place.

Frustrated we didn’t really put them to the sword especially the first 15 after half time when we battered them and they couldn’t get out but we seem to be solid enough away from home to dig results out.

Good watch that, first half more so, two footballing sides each having periods of dominance, thought the second half turned into a scrappy affair but a point each seemed fair to me on the balance of things.

Have to watch back their goal again but looked like Killip was a rabbit in headlights again? Fondop had a decent 45 but looked like a different player second half, we're a goal poacher away from being a good side this season.

Exeter were easily the best side we've played so far, slick passing, skilful set of forward players, Caprice the number 2 was excellent I thought, really good performance.

Useful point against Exeter that we'd have all settled for.

Can't help be a little disapponted mind countless balls in and no one attacking them. Killip at fault for Exeters goal. I'd say 1-1 was probably about fair in the end after a pretty mediocre second half.

Frustrating, had enough chances in the second half to win that, Drinan, James and Sotiriou IMO all should've done alot better with what they had, the Mansfield keeper also pulled off two good saves from Theo Archibald. Was one of those days in the end.

Mansfield came to frustrate and they managed to do it for around 60mins, our crowd also got frustrated. They didn't create any clear cut chances but they did put us under pressure throughout and I was pleased with the way we dealt with those moments of pressure in the game, we never looked likely to concede and have 4 cleans sheets out of our 5 home games now.

Of all the penalty appeals we had the first handball in the first half was iffy I thought, another ref probably would've given it IMO.

I'm not sure what to make of Mansfield, they battled hard but didn't show many passages of making any chances. The ball spent most of the game going into touch.

The red card was nailed on, incredibly naive from Sinclair to get baited into kicking an opponent - right in front of the linesman too.

Think you meant “barely-deserved”. We absolutely battered you in the second half; the combination of Bishop and the ref helped you burgle a point. Good luck with your relegation battle.

Well earned and deserved? Laughable.

Mansfield will consider themselves extremely lucky and relieved to nick a point there, ref gave them everything today.

Amazing how much money they spend because they looked poor today, bottom half side.

Os looked sharp, especially second half, looking forward to Vale away next week, big game now.

Not sure Crawley deserved the win. More like Bradford didn't deserve a point.

Good side City until they reach the final third. Then they keep the ball and pass back and sideways and back and sideways. By the time the ball gets played in all the defenders are set.

Happy with the points though.

Cheers.

A few coupon buster results today - Didn't see Oldham or Bristol Rovers winning, as well as the top 4 at the start all drawing and a third of the games ending 0-0s too.

Certainly Oldham was a bit of a surprise. Not so much Rovers, does seem Walsall look like they’re going to struggle again especially with a very inexperienced manager. The Oldham result does show though nobody can let their guard down against anyone in this league as it will cost you.

Yeah, sounded like you had little about you, lots of huff and puff but nothing of quality.

We’ve basically got our entire defence out and played a forward at CB and we got our 1st clean sheet of the season. As you say, laughable!

Sadly we’ve been poor this season but sides like orient are what’s great about this league anyone can be up there! (apart from us!)

Bit of a sickener right before the break. Been the better side really but their equaliser, Killip should've come for it and didn't, easy header at the back stick.
"Killip should have come for it" ?
I could have been walking passed the ground when that cross came in
And got to the cross AND caught it cleanly.

He,s costing us too many points.
