I thought it was a very good reply TBH. I can take the moral high ground anyway as I'm a Bristolian but it was a fine return by Redjed.
I've been to Swindon but luckily managed to escape intact without looking like that pic.

Avoid Penhill and you'll be fine.

I see fuck all has happened since I've been away.

We not signed any one-legged pygmies on the cheap yet?

Not a lot going on. City fans clearly bored and can't leave league 1 behind, Oxford have painted the fence again for the new season.

Basically, nothing is happening.

That'll be about the same number you'll get at the CG now the Bank's been closed.

Fair do's.

Is it true about the Stratton bank then? It was a bit crap when we played there in all honesty. 4 toilets for a full bank wasn't really enough yet the loos at the back were fenced off. Apart from that it wasn't too bad.

It's an embarrassment - like the Town End. Fuck me, the TE hasn't changed, apart from the seats, since I first stood behind the bog wall decades ago.

It was something I heard from someone I know at the Borough Council regarding the Bank. There's been no official statement.

Put a roof on it and sort the bogs out and it will be fine Dan, not perfect by any means and old fashioned but functionable. I wonder if the fact there is only 1 way in and out nowadays works against it because I'm sure we used to exit from the back many years ago? That's what caused us to shut blocks in the Dolman during the rebuild as there weren't enough exits. The fact that the Dolman and the Bank for that matter haven't had issues in donkeys years seems to be overlooked.

You're right, of course, but there are issues with a roof regarding the residents at the back of the Bank. The club Trust apparently are trying to drum up about £500,000 to fund a roof but Power appears not to like anyone bar himself having any input regarding any aspect of the club.

I think all that Pompey did was chuck a roof on their existing away fans terracing a while back, so there is no reason it cant be done.

Bear in mind that as the council own the site but the club pay for the stadium infrastructure and maintenance, there is little value for Power to cough up for any improvements.

We cant all live high on the hog like you lot!

I guess justifying the expense would be awkward as it won't get used too often?
It would be interesting to know why it's not passed safety TBH.

We all know why Bristol City fans keep posting on here, 1, no-one talks to them in the championship, and 2, they know this is their natural home

What a loser you come across as. Jealousy is not a good trait!
If you don't like us City fans having a chat to our nearest, that's your problem , not ours.
I will leave this thread now as it's for L1'ers like RJ but if any of the rest of you (all but RJ essentially), that DO have a sense of humour, feel free to join us in the City thread upstairs.
Catch us if you can eh!

Doesn't matter which forum people post in as long as it's either informative, humorous or abusive!

That's me covered, then!

If you were only allowed to post in the sub forum your club played in this place would be very boring, imagine only being allowed in the Premier League section. :ffs:
