Am currently downloading the whole series of Beverly Hills 90210. Should keep me occupied for a while.

It's most enjoyable to watch torrented Peep Show episodes.

The secret ingredient is crime.

I slagged so many off for watching this over the years but i'm really enjoying it The Vampire Diaries, it's a bit darker than I expected

i'm nearing the end of season 2 and have been introduced to Elijah and Klaus, one thing is for sure it's making me want to watch The Originals after too, love Klaus character and what he is etc

oh and Elena wow

Watched Requirn For The Dead: An American Spring 2014. Emotive documentary using social media, on the scene video and police reports to tell the stories of gun violence victims in America. Quite good really.

Just started Altered Carbon on Netflix, it seens pretty interesting.

Is it any good? Tempted by it but I keep putting it off through thoughts it may be more style over substance.

I really liked the first episode, haven't had chance to catch up with any more but it has a hell of a lot of potential.

A guid dram
An old Arena doc on Youtube about the great Paul Scofield. What an acting titan he was. Rarely did movies as he preferred to look after his dogs than take on film roles even though he was offered many; and just preferred stage acting, hence there is little film around of his great performances. The actor's actor; I've heard many times from the current stage greats saying that he was the man, admired even more than Olivier; and I wholeheartedly recommend looking out what you can of him on screen, including King Lear, A Man For All Seasons (belting film), The Train, Carve Her Name With Pride, and The Crucible, where he effortlessly steals the show from 'greatest actor of all time' Daniel Day-Lewis.

Here is a small clip of his performance on stage as Salieri, recognising his own mediocrity when first hearing Mozart's music, and how much it tears him apart with jealousy as he knowingly recognises genius, longingly wanting just a part of it, but has the foresight to acknowledge such music will never emanate from him. Devastating. The film is sensational as well btw for those that haven't seen it with F. Murray Abraham on Oscar-winning form playing him.

Finished Trauma yesterday, from ITV. It was a good watch but felt a little underwhelmed by how it ended.

Another one for Altered Carbon here, have seen the first couple, very interesting.

It certainly doesn't spoon feed you, there's a lot to take in that doesn't necessarily make sense at the time, and the stunning visuals can distract from little details. Definite re-watch value. I'm liking the Poe character.

Waco is a decent mini series, nothing amazing but grips you enough.

I'm halfway through Peaky Blinders season 3, still not getting the hype to be honest, season 3 has been pretty poor. I just keep comparing it to Boardwalk Empire and it doesn't come remotely close.

Series 3 does get better the last couple of episodes so stick with it.

my missus was obsessed with this show, Originals less so.

something that will pick up on now - they always have a party to attend, in every. single. episode. they love a party in the Vampire Diaries.

American Gothic is worth a watch. I watched it via Prime - not sure if it’s available elsewhere.
