Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
I watched the Motherland pilot on iPlayer a while ago and it was very funny. They've just released the rest of the series and the first episode was very funny.

I’ve seen a few of them. It’s ok. I don’t like the idea is pushes that there are two kinds of Dad. The utter fucking waster who is never around, and the soppy c***.

Finished Narcos. First two seasons were much better than the third which just seemed like they were trying to milk it a bit. Started El Chapo which is obviously just an attempt to cash in on the success of Narcos but still interesting if you're into this kind of thing.

Enjoyed Mindhunter but ultimately thought it could have been better with regards to going into more detail with each individual scenario. Guy who played Ed Kemper was bloody brilliant though. Imagine they'll expand on it in season 2.

Finished Stranger Things 2.

Gutted there aren't any more to watch, love it.

Recently finished the first seasons of Snowfall and The Deuce, both excellent.

I thought Season 3 rivaled the first 2 seasons even without Escobar to be honest, great show.

Need to check out El Chapo.

Gomorrah is back this month, a must watch if you like your crime shows.

Also watched both Stranger Things. Struggled at first with it but absolutely loved it by the end. Such good characters. Fairly certain there’ll be at least one more series with the current crop. Netflix confirmed today there’d be a third.

Got up to date with Bojack Horseman, which was also good, so thought I’d continue with the Netflix cartoons and I’m now watching Big Mouth. Crude but funny.

Finished watching Godless, thought it was very good and i'm not a huge fan of Westerns usually.

Jeff Daniels was great in it.

Have to disagree somewhat. I feel like Vikings struggles in much the same way The Walking Dead does, with writers (or in this case writer) who excel with character drama but then regresses to using character-stupidity to move the plot forward when it comes to warring factions. The historical revisionism gets on my nerves as well, especially when the real story is often more interesting. Instead we just get a Vikings caper where they're better than everyone else just because and the only people who can defeat them are themselves. After the Athelstan cucking Æthelwulf retcon I've no idea how they'll handle Alfred. It's hard for him not to be a hero given what he did, but Hirst doesn't like the Saxons being heroes in this, so he'll probably make him a nonce or a wife-beater or something...

To be fair mate when Alfred became king he shagged anything that moved and it was only after finding god he stayed true to his miserable wife (Non of this i take from Cornwell's books by the way) I watched episode 3 earlier which was the best episode for a while now about the battle for the saxons trying to take back what they had lost. I don't take Vikings too seriously it's just that compared with the crap terrestial tv turns out it's my sort of show.

I really like Vikings, not really bothered if it strays away from true events, it's just a good watch.

Plus Katheryn Winnick is amazing.

She is hot isn't she?
Started watching Manhunt: Unabomber today it's absolutely brilliant, looks like it could be one of the best dramas this year if it keeps the tension up until the end of the series which is only 8 episodes.

It's funny how Ragnar aged into an old man but Lagertha still looks like she's in her 30's. I wonder why

7 series of mayhem make it an addictive watch,i spent hours binge watching at a time it's that good, saying that series 3 wasn't up to it's usual standard but still decent.

Going to start Active Shooter- America Under Fire tonight. Each week details a separate shooting incident in America and looks at the incident, eye witness accounts, the motivations and the consequences it had on the community.

I've just finished episode 8 which has to be the best of the 5 series, the battle at the end was superb with more gore seen than in any other episode it was just brutal!

Watching a documentary on BBC 2 at the moment about Cyrille Regis and the infamous blacks vs whites football match played at WBA's ground in1979, I'd completely forgotten about this game and also the fact that it was acceptable to most people back then.

Been watching Hunted on All 4, there are 3 series of them. A group of ordinary people sign up to become fugitives and go on the run from a group of 30 professional hunters, they go on the run for 28 days and if they can make it through and get to the extraction point allocated at the end and getaway they split £100,000.

It's a really interesting show and highlights just how much power the state has when someone becomes a fugitive, it's frightening.

Been quite busy with Netflix this last month.

Black Mirror 9/10

13 Reasons Why 7/10

Master of None 7/10

The End of the F***ing World 8/10

Big Mouth 8/10

Now I’m part way through Narcos (8/10) and Atypical (5/10). Will probably try Peaky Blinders or Fargo 2 and 3 next.
