The final season of The Americans has been amazing episode after amazing episode. The most intense tv I've seen in years. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys are fantastic actors.

It's the perfect series to binge if anyone's looking for a new show.

Love the Americans, had no idea the new season had been released, nor did I realise it was the last one

This sounds up my street. Where are you watching it?
I am watching them on my laptop. A friend sent me a bunch of MKV files (viewing using VCL Media Player). No doubt he acquired them illegally, so give me a few days to arrange a secure means of transfer. Obviously I’ll need to get approval from Box 500, set up a cypher, establish a dead-drop system, etc.

(Alternatively DM me an email address and I’ll send them via Dropbox).

Counterpart ,there's not a hint of disparity in Simmon's performance even when he's playing two parts ,Its completely enticing watching him at his craft ,top actor ,top show .

Into The Badlands Series 3.
A good start with more bloody sword fights, the new characters look a good addition as well.

Just recently finished 10 episodes of Season 1 of the spy drama 'Counterpart' 10/10! Brilliant.

The performances are exceptional, there's Simmons, who is so good as both Howard and other Howard. Counterpart is very highly recommended.

Just finished Season 1 of Mindhunter 10/10 - This was a great show, started watching without knowing much about it, apart from it being about serial killers. Anyone on the fence give it a watch, seriously worth your time!

Finished An English Scandal the other night, brilliant fun with Hugh Grant in great form, and Ben Wishaw being superb as always. Very funny indeed.

Watched the two seasons of Flowers. A very funny but moving portrayal of a family riddled with anxiety and depression in its various guises. Very well acted throughout, with stand out performances from Olivia Colman (as always) playing the mum trying to keep it together, Julian Barratt as the dad struggling with suicidal thoughts, Daniel Rigby as the son who is hilarious but a rather sorry figure; and Sophia Di Martino as the daughter, who is a talented composer, but completely bipolar. All backed up by a strong supporting case, this is very good and worth a watch, though can be very dark. Only 30 minute episodes too so you could rattle through them.

Finished The Terror. Thought this would be right up my street, seeing it was about navigating through the arctic on the old sailing ships. However despite, the name of it being very apt as to what happens along the way, the fantastical element and rather silly subplot rather disconnected me from what was happening. Shame as it looked as if it had potential, and the acting from Tobias Menzies and Jared Harris (so like his father) was spot on.

Tales Of The Unexpected. Used to watch them as a kid and a load of them are up on Youtube. Sure some of them look stilted and a bit stagey now, but others are terrifying. Just saw one about a schoolgirl trying to keep away from an all too 'friendly' man and turns to someone for help, only to find that person is in league with the man and she gets trapped - hence the title of it The Flypaper - then roll credits! Horrifying, especially when you hear about what went on in those days, and still so pertinent today.

I've just finished watching The Terror. I thought it was pretty decent with some great acting and the cinematography was terrific. I'd probably say it's one of AMC's best show's in years.
I think the only slight negative about this show, is having the patience of getting beyond the first couple of episodes, i would call The Terror a good thriller rather than horror.

I enjoyed Tobias Menzies when he was in the time-travel drama (Outlander) another series based on Diana Gabaldon's best-selling novels.

Yeah I remember Tobias Menzies from Rome and laughed out loud when he did the carnival dressed as a centurion, as he played Brutus in that. He's in GoT along with Ciaran Hinds and Clive Russell too from this so it was fun making all these links :)

I thought it would be more factual based, where you would see the men struggling to adapt as the ice froze around the ships, and seeing how they try and survive. The poisoning plot did help to bring about an urgency to the mens' plight as their minds and bodies began to unravel; however I didn't think it needed a mutiny led by a rather insipid and lightweight character, who for some reason managed to get all these men on board when he had no leadership qualities, and lacked charisma; and also that over the top polar bear thing they had hunting them too made me lose my way with it also.

One show I've never seen is Rome, i wasn't really all that stuck on medieval shows until i came across the impressive and brilliant Game of Thrones.

Only other show I've seen him in is The Honourable Woman which was pretty good. Apparently he's got a lead role in 2019 in the TV series The Crown as Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh :)

Apparently AMC has renewed The Terror for a 10-episode second season in 2019, will be set during World War II and center on an uncanny specter that menaces a Japanese-American community from Its home in Southern California to the internment camps to the war in the Pacific.

Watched the entire first season of GLOW in one sitting last night (it's only about 5 and half hours). I'm not particularly a fan of wrestling but I loved it. Got the weekend off so will probably do the full second season sometime in next couple of days.

Also watched all of Ken Burn's The Vietnam War in the last week or so. Brilliant as expected.

Rome is an enjoyable watch, shame we only got two seasons.

Though the Terror was really good but kind of agree with Saltire about the mythical subplot, it didn't add much. I'll definitely watch a second season regardless though.

Cobra Kai is surprisingly excellent in a predictable, cheesy, 80's teen-pop sort of way.

I've just binged watched the entire second season of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling tonight. Absolutely loved it totally hooked on the show, a great continuation of the first season. Surely season three is a formality for this award winning show.

Certainly got a positive response from the critics with some good reviews. And been renewed for a second season of 10 episodes that is set to premiere in 2019. I'll add this one to watch.

Don't think I've come across this one before, but It's been renewed for a second season with 13 episodes. The second season is scheduled to air sometime in early 2019.

It's awesome.

Almost as good as Bojack Horseman.

Watching the Amazon doc about City last season, and although i'm a mite biased, it's really interesting. Around the story of the record winning title season, there's some really interesting stories about the people behind the scenes and top flight football in general.

Worth a look.

You'll have to get use to watching them, they'll be one every season. Ain't nobody else gunna win that league that's for sure other than Manchester City.

It sounds like Pep comes across as an absolute twonk. I did enjoy the All or Nothing on the Dallas Cowboys, so this should be fun. There's always a few David Brent type moments from management.
