Watched Kimmy Schmidt recently, it’s not brilliant but it’s annoyingly addictive. Now onto Brooklyn 99 and it’s good so far.

Watching the Amazon doc about City last season, and although i'm a mite biased, it's really interesting. Around the story of the record winning title season, there's some really interesting stories about the people behind the scenes and top flight football in general.

Worth a look.

Just watched this ,he seems overly aggressive for a man of such slight build ,which leaves me wondering, when he looks in the mirror does he see a man who is prepared to laugh at himself or does he see himself six stone heavier ?

Just recently watched Marvel's Cloak and Dagger Season 1. 8/10

A bit of a gritty teen superhero crime-fighting drama, with Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen as Cloak and Dagger. It's a bit of a rocky start and often a bit slow, but then begins to pick up the pace as the two teenagers get drawn together by forces beyond their control and some real romantic heat, the pair begin a fight for the soul of New Orleans. One is powered by darkness and the other by light.

Starring Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Andrea Roth and Gloria Reuben.
Marvel has announced that it has renewed its Freeform show for a 10-episode second season, which will debut in the spring.

Finished the City doc last night, thought it was really good.

Who do we think the geezer in the last episode is with the blurred out face? Mahrez?

Assuming you've watched all of season 3?

Ciro :(

Not sure how season 4 will pan out without him, just expecting Genny to go into full on war monger mode.

Easily in my top 10 favourite shows ever.

Season 4 is filming now, apparently Genny is going straight after the season 3 storyline

Think you mean Keeley Hawes rather than Keira Knightley, but yeah it doesn't look bad after the first 2 parts.

Oop's, got me bits of skirts all muddled up, a bit awkward having to call her 'Maam' now though after he's shagged her.

Watching The Leftovers on NowTV. The name makes me feel queesy, and I'm not sure I know what's going on most of the time, but it's really good.

Especially when he also seems half inclined to kill her as well.

I haven't seen the latest series but I am like you. I still don't know if I like it yet, but watched 2 or 3 series of it and I will carry on.

Speaking of Keeley Hawes she was brilliant as DI Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes, the spin-off from the hit BBC series Life on Mars.

The thing is, once you've got beyond season 1 you just have to go to the very end. The last episode (The Book of Nora) ties the whole story together.

Finished watching Philip K. Dick's 10 stand-alone episodes of the anthology series "Electric Dreams" Season 1.

Basically the show is based on the short stories from one of science fiction's most creative authors Philip K. Dicks.

A Sci-fi anthology series with diverse storytelling and stunning visuals, I do think Electric Dreams works in my eyes because there's a fascinating nugget of insight about humanity in every episode, even if they don't always achieve the desired result.

I think all in all the show contains more hits than misses over the 10-episodes with also a couple of real gems, eye-catching and dramatically appealing.

It was a flawed series with a few definitely missing the mark, but they were always an interesting watch nevertheless.

Yeah i kind of agree in a sort of way, i was pretty much a little bit bored on a few of the short stories. My favourite was 'The Hood Maker'

Just finished watching the 9-episode western series Yellowstone Season 1.

The family drama centers on the Duttons, a family of powerful and prosperous cattle ranchers. While the series gets of to a rocky start it slowly builds up to a highly watchable show, it chronicles their shifting alliances, as well as their old grudges, and even unsolved murders. Starring Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Wes Bentley.

Been renewed for a second season to air in 2019.

The first series of Mr Mercedes was imaginative and broke boundaries ,specifically on the incestuous relationship between the resident serial killer and his mother.

So after being thoroughly enthralled/ engrossed in equal measure by the first installment I was mystified to learn the basic premise of the second series was said serial killers reinvention in becoming 'once again' chief tormentor to the series main protagonist by possessing people whilst in a coma.

Fuck off !

Finished Season 1 - 10-episode of HBO's Succession.

Succession took its time showing how it understands the family problems of the Roy family, but this show is intelligent has top notch acting by all concerned, and is driven by the development of the characters involved. It's a fight for power and I'd probably wouldn't wanna be a part of this dysfunctional family. Well worth watching with the impressive Brian Cox. Starring Hiam Abbass, Jeremy Strong, Brian Cox, Nicholas Braun, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen.

I think what's been set up for Season 2 looks an awful lot like where the show started, except now everyone understands the game.

With Succession I don't think I've watched a show before with a set of characters where pretty much all of them are easy to hate, especially Mathew Macfadyen's. But despite this the show works and I look forward to a 2nd series.

Just finished watching Hulu's Castle Rock 10 episodes of Season 1.

A really good series from the master of mystery Stephen King! Like many of King's tales, Castle Rock has a dark mystery, and a darker evil, at the center of a small town. The main central point of the story in this first season focuses on the disappearance of young Henry Deaver back in 1991 and the current appearance of The Kid in 2018.

Castle Rock is a decent series for Stephen King fans and a must watch horror show for fans of dark, thrilling, character focused mysteries. Starring Andre Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Scott Glen, Terry O'Quinn, Frances Conroy, Jane Levy, Ann Cusack and Noel Fisher.

Pretty sure it was in this thread I said something about The Leftovers being really good, even though I didn't really know what was going on. That was after watching season 1.

Well, having just finished season 2, I still don't really know what's going on, and it's still really good. Whereas the first season was a bit slow in parts, the second season is tighter and more polished.

Oh, and there's loads of shots of naked Justin Theroux, which, despite my claimed heterosexuality, I think is just great also.

Just finished Season 3 (10 episodes) of The Man in the High Castle.

Surely one of Amazon's best drama shows they've ever had. Fine storyline, great acting, directing and dialogue. After the events from season two this is one of the easiest shows to get back on board, thanks to some strong performances and effectively nightmarish dystopian world building, Amazon's series remains a compelling saga to dive back into, especially with its more sci-fi orientated third season with parallel realities. Highly recommend.

Starring, Alexa Davalos, Rufus Sewell, D J Qualls, Joel de la Fuente, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Brennan Brown, Luke Kleintank, Rupert Evans, Bella Heathcote, Chelah Horsdal and Jason O'Mara.

Just finished The Haunting of Hill House. Enjoyed it overall and thought it was adequately scary (particuarly the house scenes which were mostly very well done I reckon) but certainly not the horror event of the century it's been made out to be. Just kind of went over well treaded ground in a satisfactory sort of way. But I suppose when you watch something like this after all the hype then that's the impression you're most likely going to get.

Currently watching The Purge series too and think it's pretty good viewing if you enjoyed the films.
