Ipswich away in a big relegation six pointer next week. Kal Naismith is suspended which will help our cause. All we need to do now is stuff him in a Christmas shoebox and ship him off to Africa before his suspension lifts.

How the hell are we still 5 points clear, won once in about 10 games. Totally threw it away yesterday, got gifted a goal so we returned the favour by giving them two in a minute.

Because you were 6th 10 games ago that's how. Preston , then Boro and wba away, be less than 5 points come December 29th I reckon. New manager will come to the rescue, you shouldn't be getting relegated with the squad you have although most of the good ones are permanently injured

We were never in this, only got 1 winger and 1 striker left and we're still getting the job done.

We are well and truly in here. Once again everyone below us lost bar Ipswich and Sheff Wed meaning we get away with it again. Only a matter of time though.

Fuck off Bacuna, Blackett and the rest of the spineless shit we have turning out for us every week. Get us down to League One and start again.

Yeah, Wednesday were never really in any danger. The current bottom 5 are absolute tripe, be amazed if it’s not 3 from them. Wigan too, perhaps.

With Jos as boss, we would have been right in it, the bloke really hadn't got a clue.

Just think your squad of players is far superior to those 6 sides I referred to which would ultimately have still seen you finish above them all regardless of manager. The current bottom 6 do look to be extremely poor. Couldn’t see any of them having the new manager bounce you have had as their players simply aren’t good enough, Ipswich for example, are still gash.

This originally was meant to say bottom three, but then you had a look at the table and saw we were just out of the relegation zone.

Nope, not at all. Can only go by the little pieces I’ve seen and what Millwall supporting mates have said. Millwall have always relied on their home form but you seem to have lost that a bit this year which is why I think you’ll be down there all season.

Today for example, I heard you wasn’t comfortable against a poor Reading side who played almost the entire game a man light. I remember earlier in the season watching Millwall play Swansea at home for almost the entire game with an extra man again and you were poor and ended up losing.

To be honest, I think if you pick up your home form again you’ll be fine and I know you’ve been struggling with injuries. I actually think it’ll be the current bottom three at this point.

At least 2-3 years away at best, just happy to have got rid of the clueless one and not be in a relegation battle for now.

I was more than happy you won today, you ain't gonna be challenging top 6 so it was a good result for us. Win again on saturday is fine in my eyes.

We were bang average and never got out of second gear yesterday, and that's all that was needed for a more than comfortable win. Second half felt like a training exercise. Ipswich were the worst side I've seen at Loftus Road since Rotherham in their last relegation season.

Lost two of our best players in the summer, another is a year older and a year slower, injuries finally catching up to us, an owner that keeps us afloat but won't/can't put up the money for us to strengthen the squad rather than just maintaining it and finally a manager that, while very good at organising a side, is in dire need of an experienced number 2 to help him with tactics and style.

Really, we are not big or rich enough to compete at this level in the long term. Clubs like us, Preston, Rotherham, Bolton, Wigan, QPR and Brentford will have to make several trips to L1 and back every few years. I know Preston and Brentford are making a good fist of it at the minute, and QPR are having their last hurrah before the cash completely dries up, but it's hard to see how that can last over the long term with the amount of money other clubs have at their disposal.

Bristol City, Reading, Swansea, Hull... when I started going to games in the mid-90s, the latter two clubs were pulling in gates of 3-4,000, didn't have a pot to piss in, relative blips on the footballing map... arguably we were about as big as the former two, or at least a similar size... but they all have excellent catchment areas for support, relatively attractive prospects for investors -- they've definitely benefited from the sport's commercial boom. It's a different world now.

No doubt you'll play a blinder on Sat and beat us. For once, I am actually looking forward to a QPR Reading game.

Not quite so sure about that. We are in the best finantial position that we have been for a good few years. Going into the Prem fucked us as we were stupid and bought players that were good on Football Manager 2005.

Now, we have cleared the debts and I believe we are, or very nearly, turning a profit. Yeah, we'll still have to sell a couple of players every now and again but I don't think we will be in League 1 soon. We have a young squad, a good coach and a good backroom set up so we are perfectly set up to linger in this league for ages and be really board of it.

Where's Abertawe? Funny how 6 months ago you were saying we're going down and you were going up. We're one of the best clubs in the country now whilst you're scraping a draw at home to Wigan, loving every minute of it you Welsh c***.

With the tightness of this league, pretty much every club is one bad appointment away or a couple of bad transfer windows from dropping to League One.

Alex Neil is working wonders with what he's had to deal with this year.

We had this lot missing today through injury... Pearson suspended (obvs)

Maxwell
Davies, Earl
Pearson, Browne, Harrop
Bodin, Moult, Maguire, Robinson
