End segment was awesome, Sting looked in great shape, I know he wuldnt want his first WWE match to be poor, loved Lesnars promo as well. I hoenslty am looking forward to every match, even the Battle Royal has the Miz/Mizdow interest and possibly Sheamus return and to be honest I like a good battle royal. The divas will also be determined to prove a point at Mania. I am really excited to see Undertaker again I mean for Gods sake its the fucknig UNDERTAKER, who knows how long he has left, I think he will deliver as well. And the tag picture has Cesaro, Kidd, Usos etc thats going to deliver as well. I think as an overall card it could be a really excellent WM, the potential is there in every one and no doubt WWE will out together awesome promo packages.

A lot of the issues, imo, is the stubbornness of the fans to just accept Reigns is main eventing this year (and they can't just scream until it changes) and they're being hyper critical, even for the "IWC".

Honestly, I've enjoyed some parts of the build up. Finally, after years of begging for significant plots involving the mid tier belts we have John fucking Cena fighting a guy with a hell of a run for the US title which has been irrelevant since Ziggler v Ryder, the Intercontinental has one of the biggest stars in the company and two of the "internet darlings" in a match type with some legitimate chances for big moments. We have Rollins and Orton which has the potential to be superb as they're both very good wrestlers and as much as people keep whining about it Lesnar and Reigns, imo, will be much better than people are melodramatically predicting, it may be a hard hitting brawl but sometimes those sort of matches are needed, you need variety.

I am normally quite critical of WWE, but people are being stupidly harsh based on complete bias on their parts. It's not set up to be a "stellar" WM but then it isn't going to be the utter disaster people say either, it'll be a decent WM imo with some great part, some weak parts and some inbetween somewhere.

Sting/HHH should be good and the IC title match will be fantastic. Sting looked the best he has done so far, looked in about as good shape as possible, his hair didnt look so badling either! Very good end segment. Bryan and HHH made last years WM, that's all it lacks this year is someone with momentum and the crowd favourite on board. It really isn't all that different. The IC ladder match will probably be better than any match from last years event anyway. I would say though, the general hype is been poor.

Raw was better this week, much better.

You going to watch WM BigDaveCUFC?

I cannot click on that while at work what is it saying? I am guessing it is about that handful of fans who go dressed fully as Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Bret Hart etc, etc and usually fake fight in the arena.

They are half the time the only entertaining thing about a WWE UK show when I go.

This is spot on.

I was looking at the card the other day and realised that I actually quite like it. My approach to this WM has obviously been very different from the usual one and I'm not sure how I'd feel if I were just watching it on TV, but as far as I can see I'm actually looking forward to all of the matches. Fuck it, even after really not wanting to see Reigns win the rumble, I'll even admit that Reigns/Lesnar has completely got me sold now.
But there's nothing on that card that I don't want to see...

I'd rather see the womens match as a fatal four way, but fuck it, I'm ok seeing those four in a tag team match. For me, The Bellas have actually improved a heck of a lot in the last year or so, I realised a while back that I actually have no problem with them any more.

But the rest? Sure, I'm not exactly a Sting fan, but the thought of seeing such a big name having his first match in WWE is exciting to me. Taker/Wyatt could be great. Rusev vs Cena is bringing the US title to a whole new level of importance. Orton vs Rollins and the ladder match should be superb.

Probably only the battle royal and tag match (especially if the Usos aren't in it) that are questionable for me now.

I don't even think it's a long shot to say that the show should be pretty great. It's not just a case of being a "shit card which may surprise us". I think it'd be a bigger surprise if the show was shit, really.

Hogan, Warrior, Savage etc, But they were just watching the show, no fake fight in the arena, they was watching the show from the front row, after a adverts break they was back in normal clothing, which I did think was bizarre at the time.

naaaah it's wwe being spoil sport 'we listen to the fans but DON'T DO ANYTHING WE DON'T WANT YOU TO DO DAMMIT'

cos-play fans have been around for years and years. all part of the fun some people have in going to these events. to tell them to take off all the attire & wear some shitty orange Uso t-shirt instead is pretty lame (pretty turd you might say).
especially when they have obvious 'plant' fans like Lesnar guy, Clown guy & Red Cap guy who actually get paid a sum by the WWE to appear at their events

Liked the feel of the Arnie Classic NXT this week. I hope they don't completely abandon Full Sail, but the odd show (maybe 1 a month) out of Florida would be wonders to sell NXT to the broader American public.

Raw drew a 2.7 this week...the same ratings they get in the 'fall' for a normal year. 0.7 down on last year. This 3 months of the season is supposed to be when Raw constantly breaks 3.0 and pushes 4.0. Poor really. This creative, this writing and this 'kiddy' TV isn't the future of WWE like Vince thinks, it's the end of anyone over 12 watching WWE weekly.

I'm still rewatching old WM's to get myself even more hyped... currently watching Taker vs Kane at WM14. Fucking awesome match. Got pretty much most of the next four days off now until I leave to fit in as much WM as possible!

Barely having the WWE Champ on TV in the run-up to WM doesn't seem 'smart' either.

that taker entrance I think sent the most shivers down my spine of any taker entrance ever. that dramatic music at the start, the druids, the actually awesome feud with kane, everything

Getting through these WM's... just saw WM 17. Every time I see it I'm still amazed by just how good it is.

have you decided to change your views on any of the matches you rated as must see or have they all still stayed as must see on a re-watch?

i rewatched natalya v charlotte from nxt takeover this morning.

it's crazy how good that match is, compared to what that same company give us on a weekly basis on Raw. Obviously that's not anything against the talent like Paige, The Bellas (they've definitely improved) & Emma, more to do with Vince's massively out-dated view of womens wrestling

I suspect we may get cocky heel Ziggler vs Face Bryan through the summer. I reckon Ziggler could pull off the cocky heel stud that gets close to taking Brie away from DB and playing a storyline from that point of view.

Caught second hour of Smackdown, have to give the writers credit they do seem to be improving the show to make it more watchable.

I usually don't bother and just read the results but it was on Saturday morning so thought I will watch it. The IC Title has been built decent on SD and maybe that will be the main focus after Mania and get the odd title match on there.

Sting will open Raw with a promo tonight. Nash announced as being inducted to the hall of fame too.

Bray Wyatt's promo was top drawer. Was like when he first burst on the scene.

I've not got to the end of RAW yet but i'm told it is awful so not holding out any hope here...

Last night was the go home show. Sting and HHH aside it was dire. Lesnar and Reigns had a 2 minute confrontation at the end where they had a 'tug of war' over holding the title belt....with a 12 minute Heyman promo to close...yeah..the go home Mania show ended that way...
