Bray Wyatts promo was brilliant, the Rusev-Cena segment was okay, and Stings promo was good too.
Triple H came out face to face with sting, besides waving objects around nothing happened.
Wyatt does a promo, and besides some effects, nothing happened.
Roman reigns and Lesnar were face to face and, not one word spoken, and once again nothing of note happened.

A tug of war? I mean what the hell is going on, nothing physical at all, something should of happened. I think 'Mania will be a good PPV don't get me wrong but the build is been awful.

It is interesting that this is back tot he old 80's where the Mania is held together by how the Intercontinental Title does, if they in any way, shape or form fob the fans off with that match (eg: Quick match, cheap finish, etc etc) the fan reaction for the entire show could be horrendous.

feel abit sorry for Sting they could have done so so so much more the guy is superb on the mic and all that history that could be played into it, the whole feud could have been based on HHH calling Sting a coward for never stepping into a WWE ring earlier.

Lesnar really should not be Champion, WWE don't know how to run it that way.

Sting showed great personality on the mic, it's a shame his whole reasoning for targeting HHH is lazy and makes him look stupid.

Wyatt's promo was alright, Ziggler vs D-Bry was decent. Funny how they're constantly jobbing Bryan out to diminish his overness.

The rest was embarrassing. To think that an adult or adults came up with that ending is hilarious. 'This is going to be a war!' Yeah, tug-of-war.

Can't remember being so underwhelmed for 'Mania. I won't be paying for it and I'll watch it the day after. Was planning to go to PCW to watch this a couple of months ago.

Well, well, well.

After last weeks disaster, Raw last night pulled higher figures than both of the last 2 go home wrestlemanias. It just goes to show how ingrained WM is into the mind of many wrestling fans who regardless of the product still tune in. Sting opening the show would have helped too.

From Wrestlezone,

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/465039-3-31-wwe-raw-rating

'The go-home episode of Monday Night Raw prior to this weekend's WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view brought in an average of 4.39 million viewers across three hours, with individual hours scoring 4.231, 4.603 and 4.338 million viewers, respectively.

The final rating was a 3.14. This week's WWE Raw was up from last week's 3.07 rating with an average viewership of 4.231 million fans. Interestingly enough, this year's WrestleMania go-home show did about the same as last year's, which ended the wrestling calendar with a firm 3.1. The year before Raw only did a 3.06 just a week before WrestleMania, so the lower numbers heading into the biggest PPV of the year aren't all that much of a shock, with this year's show actually doing the best rating in three years'

No one will give a fuck about the build come the end of WM, I am confident the show will deliver big time. I quite like that Lesnar and Reigns have never put a hand on each other, makes the moment better come the show, that Undertaker hasnt appeared makes it a full year since we last saw him the moment when he walks out again will be huge. Stings first WM match, who would have ever imagined it, awesome. I think the build has been "good" but not great, way much of an over-reaction ,worst ever etc I am really excited and will be watching it live at a pub in London with 500 people, going to be immense!

So, Brock has re-signed with the WWE - That makes me actually want to see 'Mania. Hope he wins.

Even if Brock loses it won't be clean, it'll be due to Heyman turning on him or something.

watched a video on the Network about the 5 people Goldberg lost to.... he only lost clean once, in a triple threat against HHH. other 4 times were in WCW and all included interference

So then, on to the best Raw of the year (normally). Best crowd. What are we expecting to see?

Sting/Taker programme.
Heyman and Lesnar interupt the Rollins celebration...probably heading for a triple threat at ER.
Bryan as IC Champion...Ziggler/Barrett programme?
Sheamus return..
NXT debutant?
HHH/Rock setup.

Any other takers?

Lesnar/Sting/Taker/Rock/HHH all under one roof perhaps...

The big question for me is how do they get around the Lesnar rematch clause?! surely they won't go Lesnar vs rollins 1-1. Shenanigans I guess, combined with a triple threat

Fuck me, I've just looked back at Extreme Rules last year. Surely we get better this year.

Main event was Daniel Bryan vs Kane for the title. Wyatt vs Cena in another match. Shield vs Evolution which was fun but ultimately robbed the overall card of being better. And looking at the rest of it, bloody hell, it looks awful. A tournament for the number 1 contender for the Intercontinental title, they didn't have a clue did they?

Do they now?

The best thing about last night is that WWE finally gave the future act the headline belt, meaning it will be defended at virtually every PPV, something that didn't work out with Lesnar, they gave a huge but ageing star in Cena one midcard title and then gave the other belt to the biggest star/most over star they have on the roster currently. Finally PPV's may not just be about a naff lower card and then main events performing well.

Just think of the feuds you could have for those mid-card titles now..that really could be main event worthy.

Bryan vs Ziggler
Bryan vs Barrett
Bryan vs Ambrose
Cena vs Ziggler
Cena vs Sheamus
Cena vs Ambrose

Summerslam could be a treat...

Looks like one thing we predicted will come true...just got a notification from the app saying Sheamus returns tonight on Raw.

Indeed. In years gone by, you'd have that card last night but Cena vs Rusev would be for.....well.....nothing aside from Cena being the man to end Rusev's streak. And the US title would have been dumped on the pre-show or not defended at all. Although the IC title was built hurriedly, their decision to put it on Bryan is a good one long term for the prestige of the title. You can kind of accept it being built in a rush considering they wouldn't of known that long ago when Bryan would be back from injury so this is obvious a more recent development. But it's put a lot of people in the title picture and given them a great experience at WM that will be invaluable in the years to come.

I also feel after years of saying when the legends are gone, who will be the next stars, we finally have our next stars. Bryan, Rollins, Ziggler, Rusev, Wyatt, Reigns, Ambrose and co can carry this ship for a while with the likes of Orton and Cena still very much around and new blood likely unearthed in the process.
