Anyway, let's do this ZOMBIE STUFF.

First up are GNC!

Wolverine, Gandalf, Butters, Jafar and the Xenomorph Queen stand and watch as 7 zombies approach. To be fair, there's not much to be worried about in there besides maybe Beast and Juggernaught... the rest should be fairly easy to take down. Though you never know if luck is going to be on your side...

But nah, the zombies barely put up a fight. There were an incredible number of scores of 1 on the zombie side. Zombie Barry Scott nearly convinced Butters to buy some Cillit Bang, but other than Butters wallet no damage was done here.

I will never, EVER, remember to do this Andrew Ryan stuff as long as this game runs. I know it.

3DD's turn to face the zombies. 10 living vs 8 zombies... they must fancy their chances.

And again, it's easy as hell for them. A few nicely timed headshots from Tommy, CJ and the Cylons as well as some stabbed brains from The Bride and Scott Pilgrim leads to a nice easy win for the living here. The 3DD graveyard is once again at rest.

Now onto SBF... and suddenly, after two easy wins for the last two teams, they must be looking for a miracle here...

And they didn't get it. The SBF HQ is completely overwhelmed and this is a real struggle for them... they keep on having to back out and end up leaving the HQ entirely... the zombies have over run it!

They know that if they lose the HQ, the war is over for SBF... so they risk it all and renter the building, saying fuck the consequences... they do eventually take out the zombie threat, but having to go in there so recklessly has led to Magic Broom 9 being bitten! Oh no!

Magic Broom 9 leaves SBF, in fear that they're going to kill him off before he turns... he makes his way to Oaf HQ...

Yes, a broom just got bitten by a zombie and ran away for fear of being killed by his team mates. You read that right.

Now, Team 6 are the tricky one. 7 living vs 8 zombies... but some strong zombies in that graveyard, the most recent addition of Donatello boosting them a fair bit. We shall see how this goes...

They just about manage to get the job done. It's not quite as easy as GNC and 3DD had it, but they're alive and none of them are bitten, at least.

So after all of that the only character affected by the TS-19 is a fucking magic broom

Greyscale is a nasty disease from Game of Thrones... upon contact with somebody with Greyscale, it causes skin to basically turn to stone... it is near incurable and as it spreads, it can cause insanity in its victim.

Magic Broom 2 is infected with Greyscale! (ARE YOU SHITTING ME THESE FUCKING BROOMS AND PICKING UP THESE DISEASES!) A small spot of it appears on the handle of the broom... and it's slowly spreading around the rest of it.

THE BLOODY FLUX
SBF

Now this one is probably the second nastiest of the diseases. Again from Game of Thrones, it can cause basically death via bleeding from the ass... with a rather high mortality rate.

It affects 3 members of the team... and after losing that broom to Team Oaf, SBF only have 3 members left! Zapp, Stringer and the last broom are infected... This Bloody Flux has a very real chance of being the final nail in SBF's coffin.

LYCANTHROPY
GNC

Now, we all know what this one is. Werewolf stuff, basically. The thing is... this disease, with luck, could actually be seen as a good thing... it boosts BR (because they can turn into a fucking WOLF)... however, it also causes the carrier to lose their ability.

It infects one member of the team. So if it hits the right person, with a shit or used ability, it could be a good thing. Plus... it can be spread. Once a person is selected, GNC may also choose to infect any characters of their choosing with Lycanthropy, boosting their BR by 2, but causing them to lose their ability.

So yes, this could have been a good thing... like I said, with luck. But luck was not on GNC's side, as this has infected... WOLVERINE! He loses his ability to regenerate lost HP! And he doesn't even gain the BR boost as he's already on 20BR... very bad luck for GNC here.

On the plus side, a werewolf Wolverine would look badass...

This is from Marvel comics... it caused mutants to basically have a massive growth in their powers, before basically overloading them and killing them! However, it can also affect non-mutants... One character per team will be chosen. They will gain 3BR, and due to the OVERPOWERING NATURE of the Legacy Virus, this can BOOST THEM OVER 20BR!

However, this overwhelming power will overcome them... and after next weeks fights, they will be killed instantly.

SBF: Stringer Bell... who is already suffering with the bloody flux! Ouch!

You're all lucky that you dodged the Black Death, though. Even though it's irrelevant now... basically, it'd have infected one character per losing team. Then each week it would either: Be cured, also pass along to another character, do 1HP of damage or take away 1BR. So there was potential there for it to spread right into your team, affecting a whole bunch of your characters, draining HP and BR like nobodies business. There was also the slight chance of an overall cure being made to cure the entire team... but it was a very small chance.

Anyway. I'll do wages/offers and stuff tomorrow. NEEDZ SLEEP.

Should be around at about 3pm to do all of this, hopefully, unless Munks gets there first. But as I said. NEEDZ SLEEP. It's been a pretty fucking EXCITING DAY.

That's because you went and killed them before their fights by sending them to help Zapp. I naturally assumed that you'd meant to send the newly duplicated Brooms in their place. They stood about the same chances of winning those fights.

Yeah... my strategy for it all is pretty much that Munkiki is great at keeping track of shit like that while I suck at it, so I'm just gonna keep plowing ahead with the game and let Munkiki point out the fact that I've forgotten to do all the disease stuff as and when I forget.

But bare in mind: Me and Munkiki are currently discussing how to best deal with an issue that has come up in the last fight card. We're undecided on what way to go on it... because, like so many other situations in this game, it's one of those scenarios that has been thrown at me that I'd not even considered could happen until it's come up. But there is a chance there may be a slight rollback on a couple of the events of the last card. I don't think that it would affect most of you in any real significant way, but it may have a slight baring on things... so it's perhaps best to wait on the outcome of this before committing to any purchases, just in case.

I just saw a picture of one during the process of making 1FF Wars and thought about how brilliantly annoying it'd be if the game ended up getting absolutely fucking STACKED with brooms everywhere. They could have actually totally over ran the game, like.

Right, I'm gonna be off now. The issue is still somewhat unresolved, but it should be sorted soon I'd say. Gonna pop back on this evening and give an update and sort it all out.

I will set a deadline for signings as 12 noon tomorrow. Which I realize may be a slight pain in the ass considering A) the fact that it's less than my usual 24 hours I try to give and B) the fact that I've just told you to perhaps be a bit more cautious before signing people and wait until this issue is resolved, even though it won't be resolved until this evening, but it's either then or... well, I don't know when. Maybe the next day after, or beyond that even.

But yeah, as I said, it should affect most of you too much... maybe a matter of a couple of grand going missing. You're probably safe to buy who you want no matter how things turn out. Just want the warning there so that if you do commit and then somehow get fucked over by signing the people, I can quote this sort of post and say "well, I did warn you!".

To be honest I initially thought not sending a fighter to goldenrod would mean we couldn't pick up a disease there which would have made more of a difference. Still, I like BROOMS okay? Our broom collection is all we fucking have and I don't like people untidying them or god forbid even breaking them without permission. It's alright for you lot with your fancy rosters and money, we on the other hand appreciate the value of a good BROOM. Sometimes me and Don even put wigs on them and pretend that they are useful characters like Link and Wolverine - makes things a bit less lonely at the ol'HQ.

Ok, we got a couple purchases to do (which I'll probably forget to do and end up doing next time I come on here) but for now...

Basically, yeah, it's all about those brooms. After a fair bit of discussion, I've decided to basically do a reroll on SBFs activities for the week. For the sake of clarity for the rest of you, the events were as follows...

LR had a plan up his sleeve to avoid these infections. Basically, his idea was to use Zapps power to help him in his fight while killing off two of the brooms. He also put the brooms (brooms 4 and 5) into the later fights, with the intention being that it'd avoid the fine (as he technically put characters in for it) while also getting SBF out of fights for the week, to avoid losing them and picking up the infections.

Now, he had this in mind, but he never actually explained any of it... so my initial reaction upon looking at it was just to assume that he'd meant to say he wanted Brooms 6 and 7 put into those other fights. So I just chucked them in there, rather than sending a PM and holding the entire game up for another night.

Now, basically, there are a lot of issues there. If people put characters in for fights and other teams use abilities to knock them out, they don't get fined. But does using your OWN ABILITY and then putting in characters you know will be dead at the time of the fight come under the same umbrella?

Basically, there are a lot of grey areas and a lot of rules don't exist for a lot of the stuff that was involved. My initial reaction was one of keep it as it is, or face 2 fines for putting in dead characters. However, after a bit of thinking/discussion with Munkiki I've basically decided that for all SBF may have done wrong here (At a basic level, I still think that they should have checked that events would have played out as they intended before just jumping ahead into it), I was still a bit too quick to just assume that they meant brooms 6 and 7 and threw them in there. So my decision was that SBF did do wrong, but I also did something wrong myself... so I'm going to allow both fuck ups to cancel one another out and just redo SBF's events for the week.

I don't know how others will feel about this, but A) for the sake of being able to move on with the game and B) COME ON, SBF are down to basically just brooms, how much damage are they gonna do... I'm hoping that people will just be able to see the sense in moving on.
