Wrong. Having had the misfortune of seeing both in a Harriers shirt, I would put Garnett slightly ahead of O'Keefe. At least he tries hard even if it doesn't come off.
I bow to your superior judgement. Only seen O Keefe twice. For Chorley this season and once for Kiddy v us. He was ok in both games. In some games for us this season Garnett has been lazy and not even put the effort in.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
A tough tough game for Curzon this weekend for 2 reasons. Firstly Gloucester are looking very good this season and are in form, so while not an expected promotion challenger they are now up there and you have to respect the fact they will be tough.

Second problem is the fact Monday is turning out to be one of the biggest games in clubs history due to the 2nd round draw and thus is a massive distraction.

A glimmer of hope may be our away form, plus a hype due to fa cup, plus maybe Gloucester could go in over confident......will have to see.

Need points, bpa have closed that large gap. We are much improved to start of season and give all teams a game, but are not clinical enough in both boxes

We have Hopper and Hall coming back to fitness who have missed the last 5-6 weeks so we'll actually be stronger! But we have some season defining games coming up (not that tomorrow's game is being underestimated). Chorley away next Sat, Kiddy away midweek, Stockport & Fylde at home then Brackley home and away. If we are still in or around the play offs by then it'll be an incredible achievement.

The only sort of disconcerting thing is that apparently Derby, Wolves, Birmingham and Villa have watched us several times and 4 or 5 of our players have been highlighted. The main one seemingly Zack Kotwica who seems to be getting a lot of interest.

Bradford PA away tomorrow on their bog of a pitch and the Rains look to be coming over night so I have have a sneaky feeling it will be called off which would suit us down to the ground.

If it goes ahead its a huge game and a must win.

Very tough game tomorrow 1st v 2nd. Still can't quite believe we have started so well but long may it continue. Id imagine most teams in with a hope will be routing for darlo to try and stop Fylde getting a big points lead.

No Gary Brown at CB who is suspended but other than that we should have a fit squad to face the league favourite. It will certainy be interesting. A repeat performance of our showing at Tamworth and we will be soundly beaten but if we turn up like we did against Harrogate there wouldn't be many I'm this league who could live with us. Either way if you want to make money both teams to score should print.

Incidentally it seems that tomorrow will be our last game at Bishop Auckland before moving back to darlo. Should be close to a sell out in that case and a great game to say goodbye to a home that has seen 3 promotions in 4 years.

As I say. Too close to call but I'd rip your hand off for an entertaining 2-2 draw right now.

Very basic for now. But enough for 3,000 capacity and some space to develop as we go.

Home game v Salford today. I see we are offering £5 entry for those who have a season ticket for a Prem/ FL team. Cheers, I'll just pay the £14 as usual then.

Well, if I go that is, which is not a given

Is that where we'll be playing on Boxing Day? Very basic as you say, but light at the end of the tunnel. It's been a tribute to the Darlo fans that they've turned out in numbers for homes played 15-20 miles out of town, but I guess that proves my point about the REAL football Clubs having the REAL fans. See you at Christmas, brother. :ds:

Massive massive chance now for Curzon to grab a huge unexpected 3 points. They are 1-0 up at Gloucester, sounds like playing very well, plus right on half time Gloucester had their goalkeeper sent off and a midfielder is now in goal.

They really in a tough season cannot afford to flog this one

Words cannot describe how bad we were.

Worse performance since the Bristol Rovers 7-0 annihilation.

It should have been 6/7 and 1-0 flattered Bradford. Bradford missed a hatful of chances and we cleared it off the line twice.

Having all said all that we were a Jon Worsnop (Former Red) worldi save away from a point.

Terry Kennedy the only player to come out with an credit.

We look knackered.

Very good, professional performance and a crucial win.

The top priority was the clean sheet. Kidderminster showed a lot of aggression (not necessarily a bad thing), and when on the attack would swarm the box and have reinforcements pressing in from the midfield. It didn't give our defence time to think to break it up, and we had to be back there in position to hold strong. Because of that we had to simply "get rid" at various points throughout the game, and it felt like they had a couple dozen corners as a result. We absorbed well but whatever came of our intelligent play up front ended in an imperfect cross or a bad pass. Few chances for us in that first half, and as good as we seemed to be at keeping out of trouble we needed to create more to stand any chance of scoring.

Denton was isolated as a forward option in the first, and in the second his teammates kept around him, and he distributed so many clever headers to the wingers and midfield, who then made very good headway on Kiddy. One of them led to the penalty, and Kosylo was completely ignited by being denied a goal scoring opportunity (shirley that tackle warranted a red?) that he scored wonderfully from the attack that came from their goalie's clever save. Without that moment of brilliance from him, I think we'd be psychologically behind. Having others play off Denton like that was defo the difference though, and we were slicing them open a few times in doing so.

Kiddy were a physical lot and for all their quality, tried it on a bit too much by the time Williams floored Wilde. After the red we were in good contention for a second goal for about ten minutes, then focused a bit more in lowering the tempo, attempting to see the game out in a less entertaining way by being a disruptive force. But perhaps their full-time legs showed as they really challenged for it in the final 15 while we didn't want to expend too much energy. Another fine substitution move then, that the dud brother Peniket broke and finished with conviction, a superb cap on the game which had the oppo destroyed. It would've been so deflating if their late showing took points off us, and in the end a 2–0 shows that we can deal with the run of play impressively.

I'm counting the recent-ish results of today, Gloucester away, Harrogant away and Boston away as a great demonstration of our powers. With a few 2–0s against decent sides we're in no false position. Time to emerge above 2ppg in the table and we'll then create space between ourselves and midtable. A well done is in order to Heath today I reckon, for managing the game well over 90 minutes.

Was gonna post all that on our own forum, but it seems to have gone offline, probably down to the hand of God for all that shite posted by some on the Trump thread there.

Time to put out that statement that is issued by all the Tin Potter's who live the dream until the money runs out, and slip quietly into the oblivion you came from: "We would like to play in the Football League, one day". Bye. :bdick:

I cannot put into words just how bad the referee was today. Not taking anything away from Curzon they played pretty well. However first half a Curzon defender elbows the ball back to their keeper. Stonewall penalty, nope nothing.

Ball played over the top, Jas Singh comes out and catches the ball on his chest with his hands down. Nobody appeals, ref blows up. Sends him off.

Twice in the second half Curzon handball, not in the box but still a blatant free kick but nothing again. Then the real kick in the teeth came when we scored, their keeper collected the ball INSIDE his goalmouth...linesman is up with play but doesn't give it. Half the players on both sides stop thinking its 1-1 other than a couple of the Curzon players who fly forwards and get a second.

Curzon were better than their league position says when it was 11v11 and I was impressed with their number eight who always looked for the ball and pushed play forwards. But the ref can suck a dick.

Great win today. Roscoe came in and put in a stellar performance. Great goal by the young Alex samizadeh just 2 minutes into his debut! Blakeman made a poor challenge, yellow at worst, but the number 4 for them ran the whole length of the pitch to push/punch him, (didn't really see what happened as we were at the other end) and didn't even get a card! Yet the young lad got a yellow for celebrating with the fans! Ref was poor and couldn't really control it, missed at least 3 blatant trips from about 10 yards away! But all in all a great win ahead of 2 important matches, looking forward to Halifax away!
