Lol :)
They've removed the picture they had of Marcus Bean eating a huge ice cream with every topping imaginable and replaced it with two players holding little tubs

Club Legend Mike Edwards gets a testimonial tomorrow against Forest which should net him close to 100k.

Terrific achievement as a modern footballer to get a testimonial. So rarely happens

Beat Burton 1-0 tonight. Ollie Watkins scoring in the second half.

5/5 wins so far. 4 of those keeping clean sheets. Means very little but still pleasing.

Oh, and 15 year old, Ethan Ampadu making another appearence for the first team, and looking very assured. Suspect we'll see him forcing himself into the match day squad once he turns 16.

It is pleasing indeed and it looked like Burton played a strong team as well.

The most striking thing for me so far is that Tisdale has stopped fannying around with the 4-2-3-1 formation and has gone for a simple 4-4-2. Plus he's playing his strongest team for the first half/ 60 mins which should help continuity.

We're still very short on numbers in midfield in my eyes which was made even more obvious with the news that Harley is now injured for a fortnight. 1st XI looks solid but I worry about its depth come mid season.

Still, it's been a great pre season so far so happy days

Some sides go on pre-season trips to the Algarve, others visit Austria but not Brighton. They've lined up a lovely treat for fans and players alike, a one day tour of two shit holes just north of London. First they visit Luton at 2pm before travelling to Stevenage for a 5:30pm kick off. I won't be attending tomorrow, never been a fan of sloppy seconds.

What an athlete. Staked a good claim for being our greatest player of all time in his short lived spell here.

I don't normally do pre season friendlies but i've just got in from work and there is a ticket for me and my lad that my wife has bought us, and with Sheff Utd bringing 2000 fans it should be a decent atmosphere and i'm now strangely looking forward to it.

For anyone who is really bored, we are live streaming our friendly vs Brighton via our Player site. 10 mins to go to half time, currently 1-0 Luton. Brighton have a mix of first teamers and reserves out, biggest names on the pitch are probably Dunk and Knockaert.

It's been reported that Sheff United fans are causing trouble near our ground...

It's fucking pre-season.

2 - 1 forest, proper friendly felt like neither team was bothered. 2 absolutely fluke deflected efforts from Forest. Looks like 352 next year. Joy. We can swap notes with Carlisle fans

We abandoned our 3-5-2 formation towards the end of last season, and it looks like we're sticking with 4 at the back this year.

We were well beaten 3 - 1 by Sheff Utd today and were it not for some poor finishing from them and also some great saves from McKeown and blocks on the line, it could have been a cricket score.
They were just better than us in every department as you would expect from a big League 1 side.
Sadly no surprise to see some of our fans were on the players backs in the first half including one who shouted something at Macca after the 2nd goal, only for Macca to go over to him and give him a round of fucks back.
Pre season friendly against a really good side but still some of them can't help themselves, embarassing to hear.

Beat Gillingham 2-0. Bit wary of pre seasons that go well, won every game including against Ipswich with only one goal conceded.

It's fucking pre-season.

Sheffield united are the most aggro fans I've ever encountered. Proper twats.
