Boston United have completed the signing of Shaw Lane midfielder Spencer Harris.
The 27-year-old, who played under Craig Elliott at the Barnsley-based club, has put pen-to-paper on an initial one-year contract at The Jakemans Stadium.
Harris, who netted in excess of 30 goals from midfield during two seasons with Shaw Lane, played a key role in the Ducks' run to the first round of last season's Emirates FA Cup.

Offer little else other than being a decent finisher at that level but I can't imagine strikers need many strings to their bow at regional level anyway. He needs to get a good run of games because he'll be 25 in September and hasn't played even a quarter of a season in his career.

If you look at his record, it's a right stinker in terms of appearances. He'll be going for Jefferson Louis and Richard Pacquette's number of Clubs if he's not careful.

Guiseley have signed former Harrogate and Alfreton defender Terry Kennedy. Good defender. If you can keep him fit (its a big if) he will run through walls for you. Absolute warrior.

Swear Hereford have just bought a load of Glos City programmes for the last 3 or 4 years and are trying to sign anyone who pulled on our shirt To be fair Greenslade was excellent for WSM last season against us. One of the best left backs in non league football is maybe stretching it a little...

Ross Hannah & Kingsley James have agreed to terminate their contracts. Frees up money for J&M and completes the near total clear-out of last year's squad. Still only have eleven senior pros to face Liverpool on Saturday.

Callum Chettle is a superb signing. A real signal of intent to land a player on a 1 year deal from a league one club.

Think a play off berth is very much realistic. Just that striker away from a sustained title bid I think.

Elliot has always been the slightly more promising of the pair, playing at a higher youth level and when they were both here, he looked most ready for first team football.
And seeing how well Alex has done at Chorley, suggests Elliot will be a great signing.
