Five more new signings announced by us today.

Bradley Bauress, Luke Clark, Ethan Cartwright, Irywah Gooden (Dual reg - Warrington) & Paddy Lacey.

All been on trial during pre-season and more squad players than anything, if Lacey can rediscover the form of his Accy days then he could be a decent signing.

We thought the same about Paddy Lacey. He never did rediscover that form, think he was more interested in his boxing.

When Declan Weeks was with us I thought he would go on to play at a higher level. Ability is there, something else must be missing (might be injury problems as previously mentioned).

Bradley Bauress has a great left foot but isn't the most mobile of players. Think Matty McGinn but without the long throw. Went completely off the boil last season after a prolonged decent spell the season before. I wasn't expecting us to release him though.

Everton agreed 25 million plus add ones with Norwich for Ben Godfrey.
Massive news for York got sell on clause of between 10-20% depends on which site you look on.

We're set to sign CB Max Taylor on loan from Man Utd. Our premier league loan CB from last season Rhys Williams is doing alright. Started the last 2 Carabao Cup games for Liverpool alongside Van Djik. Let's hope we get a reputation for top prem clubs :bg:

BBC reckons you will get £2.5m out of it

hopefully it comes as a lump sum and not as bit pieces like we had with the Danny Ward money from Liverpool. Also that you have a manager that knows how to spend it!

It’s always been said to be 20% but he signed a new contract with Norwich since.also a lot of rumours going round we received 1 million last season for Norwich making premiership.
Anyway 10% should give us a good chance of getting back in league in future plus nee ground. If invested wisely.
Ps with your new owners get promoted this season.

Anyone else utterly underwhelmed as we start a season we won't be able to watch....? Farcical I can't watch Brackley, but can drive 9 miles down the road and watch Banbury in the division below...

Very poor performance yesterday in cup, both strikers Bunn and Redshaw injured before start of season, just like last season with Dan McGuire.
How’s McGuire doing Darlo fans or is he injured again.

Leamington out of the FA Cup, losing to Banbury at home. Need an improved performance if they don't want to be on the receiving end of a hammering by Boston!

Injured.

Luckily Luke Charman looked the part on his debut, scoring twice.

Exactly. They’re always quick to blame clubs these players. He threw a hissy fit because he wasn’t getting is full £950 a week. The majority of the country had to get by on 80% furlough. Not only that but he was also offered employment if he was really that hard up. no sympathy at all. He isn’t good enough for 950 anyhow so god knows what we were thinking there

£950 a week?!

Fucking hell.

Mind, why else would you play for Fylde?

Our stream is certainly non-league standard. Watched about 3 minutes from about 25 minutes.

Edit: Has just let me saw Chesters goal though :fish:

Very dodgy stream quality from Telford. Not bad enough to hide yet another Brackley sleep walk performance into another season. Little created, little threat, lots of work for Mr Wilkin to do. A fit Gaz Dean will help.

Darlo lose 1-0 at Fylde.

This season is starting just like last season did, with a load of injuries.

Pre season we lost Jamie Holmes for the season with a 2nd cruciate injury (he missed all of last season with his first cruciate injury sustained in the 2nd league match)

Dan Maguire got injured a couple of weeks ago in a pre season friendly (though this was kept quiet)

On Saturday we lost David Atkinson to a groin injury (Atkinson was injured most of last season as well)

Tonight last season's leading scorer Adam Campbell had to go off injured after 14 minutes.

New signing Luke Charman, who scored twice on Saturday, had to come off injured just after half time.

Sean Reid also appeared to be struggling with an injury near the end of tonight's match.

So our entire strike force of Charman, Campbell, Maguire and Holmes are all crocked. After 1 league match.

You couldn't make it up.

Well cry me a river. No idea how we played because we couldn’t be arsed to sort the stream out in time. Shambles.

Anyway, 1 down. Onto Gateshead

Just about deserved the three points although we were under the cosh late on.

Quality goal from Weeks, another Kiddy cast off to do well for us, looks like we're pushing him up the pitch a bit, especially away from home.

They had Amari Morgan-Smith sent-off for an alleged homophobic slur.

Draw would probably have been fair. Ref seemed to indicate the late handball shout hit his arm but his arms were at his side. If the new rules are to go by (which I think are ridiculous) its a pen.

If AMS did use that language then it's homophobic abuse and he's rightly sent off.

Yeah, one of those games that both teams had spells on top and each set of fans could argue it in their favour.

Just edited my post above in regards to AMS red card to something more appropriate rather than stating it outright.

We'll have to wait and see what comes from it but AMS could be facing quite a ban, some of our fans saying he should be sacked if proven true. As they said it would happen in any other workplace.

Haughton comes back to haunt us once again. He's always been a thorn in our side over the years, quality player on his day.

Certainly not the start i anticipated like with those injuries, hopefully we can get one or two back for Saturday's match, otherwise we are fucked already :ffs:

Couldn't be arsed to sort the stream out. Well I guess that's what happens when you're bankrolled to fuck, no one is under pressure to justify their wages.

Beat Kettering 3-1, their last goal literally last kick of the game. Really impressive performance, they went down to 10 (ref was awful for both clubs) but at times we were making 40-50 passes in each play, something I don't think I can ever say about us before! Robert, Dawson and Gunning in the middle were superb. Hope we can take that kinda performance into Chorley on Saturday. With the squad we have if we finish mid-table as JE93 predicts then that is a woeful season. We should be top 7 minimum.

It was probably the greatest win in their history.

Why are you suddenly interested in this tin pot league? A bit worried Radged might pull the plug and you end up down here?

Nah, had them on the acca, strong team playing at home against one of the easy beats.
