Two draws to start for Alfreton
Best I have seen us play against Spennymoor in 7 meetings. We have our best defence since returning to this league. Not sure we are going to score a bucket load but for sure we will be tough to beat.
Ridiculous penalty decision today btw too.

Our stream was absolutely superb again, well worth the £7.99.

On to the match, shame our team wasn't worth it. Player of the year Will Hatfeld got injured after 10 seconds which was a massive blow.

Nonetheless for the first 30 minutes or so we were on top, and went 1-0 up. Then Kiddy scored an absolute worldie from nothing to make it 1-1, and from literally that moment on they dominated the rest of the match, scoring another beauty for the 3rd. Really, no keeper would have stopped goals 1 and 3, and they won't score another 2 goals as good all season - however, credit where credit is due they ran out worthy winners.

I thought we lacked heart today once the equaliser went in, that needs to be resolved quickly and it's not something I'm used to seeing from an Alun Armstrong team.

I thought we were very disappointing today like, needs rectifying as soon as possible with Leamington up next who are propping us up in the league table. With Tadcaster in between in the FA Cup who recently earned a draw at leaders Dunston!
I trust Alun Armstrong like to get us up and running.

Darlo fans what's happening with your injury record? Looks like you've had a lot in 3 games already. Like Hatfield lasted 10 seconds so surely he shouldn't have started?

I think Leamington are in a false position. They have lost to Boston who have spent £££££££s and we only won because the ref was very generous to us.

Ours from lnplayer is fabulous no issues at all
Yeah would recommend them to everyone. They were a last minute choice for us as someone else let us down.

If you can get with them then do, completely uninterrupted and a good picture quality.

Yeah you could be right like, obviously we need a result on Saturday if we can get one or two players back up and running from the curse of the treatment room.

With our game in doubt against Alfreton at the weekend after their positive test (hoping everyone is okay). We might have a few weeks off after Chorley progressed in the cup meaning our game is postponed.

Confirmed our game against Alfreton is off. But we'll now play Curzon instead of Chorley.

Trying to keep up with who were playing next Saturday is a nightmare. Due to Chorley getting the bye we'll be playing them next Saturday instead of the rearranged game against Curzon :dk:

I really can't see the point of this season at all. No-one would put on theater performances or pop concerts to empty stadiums. What's the point of playing a season of a spectator sport without spectators.

Sounds like Covid outbreaks in squads and possibly local lock-downs are going to play further havoc with the schedule.

Brackly got a good chance of making R1 of the FA Cup based on a pen shootout and a walkover - seems a nonsense to me. But who cares when we won't be able to watch it anyway...

After beating Spennymoor in the cup in midweek they beat us at their place back in the league today.

90th minute winner bobbling in on the line, might have been an own goal. Gutted about that but really pleased with performance, wasted too many chances. We should have finished them off long before the late winner.

Another trip to the North East and yet another defeat. I wish we could defend corners.

That's because we should have been playing Curzon, but we're playing Marine instead in the FA4Q.

After a calamitous goal to Blyth, we absolutely hammered them. 5-1 up at half time with 3 from McClure (who was taken off along with Gunning at the break for a rest). Blyth ended the game with ten men due to injury and we just passed it about happy to play time out till O'Sullivan bagged a 6th in the last minute. See how we get on next Saturday at Gateshead but we are full of confidence right now and playing some of the best football I've seen from us.

I would imagine that more games will be getting called off. We'll all be in a confused state in the coming weeks.

I thank you for your support for a fellow great 92er, but would like to remind you that Darlington never went bust and are 137 years old.

First time we've scored in the league against Chorley at Victory Park and a clean sheet to boot. Didn't expect anything from today so I'm really happy with a win. We definitely got a bit lucky in the second half with one shot stopping on the line but some solid defending at the game got us over the line.

At the beginning of the season if you'd have offered me 6 points from Chester, Darlo and Chorley I'd have taken it.

Very solid start for you boys.

You played us off the park the other week for 60 minutes, and I don't think we're going to be also rans this season.

Well we were phenomenally shite today.

Well done Neil Young. Best manager in our short history.

Unlike Darlington we know we are a phoenix club.

I thought he'd retired from management in 2013, 2015 and 2016, and definitely after he went to Halifax in 2018?

He has a full time job with Merseyrail and they are very kind to him regarding football management appointments. I guess for Neil its an addiction he cannot or will not get treatment for.
