Why is the Dolman still upright? I thought the wall at the front was holding the whole bloody stand up? That looks plain wierd.
This is looking good now...

Looking good CU, looks like Lansdown isn't going for cheap run of the mill ala the Malaysians, it's going to look fantastic come Aug 2016.

Yet still some have to little niggles over something and nothing, IMO we're extremely lucky to have what Lansdown is giving our club.

All day long bud. Some people are only happy when they're moaning and moaning after the season we've just had is plain mad!

I was really looking forward to having a new ground but seeing Ashton Gate being redeveloped is great. It still has many of the features that remind me of going as a kid etc and it's starting to look really impressive as it comes together.

Definitely something the club can be proud of I think.

It doesn't quite look like the Gate anymore though Rich. I appreciate it's needed and it's superb but it's going to take some getting used to mate.

Another minor question City fans. Where will the press be located next season?

The club surely wouldn't put the press behind the goal so it's either the Dolman or in one of the new lounges in the corners of the new south stand I guess JJ.

Has the post gone or is it just the angle?

Just the angle CU, there's a picture posted on OTIB and you can just see the post.

I think they'll be at the back of the Dolman with the Directors/Guests etc, which will be a little awkward and I'm interested to see how everything works.

Agree with everything said about Lansdown - it's ridiculous to think that people were calling for the board to be sacked last year, and sometimes you have to be very careful what you wish for.

We're gifted enough to have a Chairman who loves the club and knows the area, and he has a real connection with the fans.

He's made his mistakes, but who hasn't? He's a top bloke, he loves the club and we're incredibly lucky to have him.

Respect to you Mr Lansdown.

Spot on JJH!
The only thing I was concerned about was the transferring of the ground ownership from BCFC to BS but I'm cool with it nowadays.

I was too - but I've now learnt my lesson and he's definitely gained my trust, and rightly so.

He's a multi-billionaire businessman, he knows what he's doing, and everything he is doing is what he believes is the best for the club.

He can pump as much money into the club as he wants through Bristol Sport now, and no matter what fans of other clubs say - it's not 'cheating' around FFP, it's being clever about it.

Anyone want to see three weeks of time lapse videos for our new brand spanking pitch?

Pretty nice how the South Stand will have a view of the Suspension Bridge. At least if we're getting battered at a night game, you can just sit back and admire it from a distance.

Reminds me of last season when we beat Crawley 2-0 - the fireworks were the most entertaining thing about the game.

Didn't I read somewhere that a screen will be put up on the ateyo blocking said view?

I may have completely made that up.............

No, you're right. The eventual plan is a giant screen atop the Atyeo if it is strong enough to support it but I gather they are looking into another option of a screen in the Atyeo / Dolman (East stand I suppose we should call it now) corner. I prefer the latter option personally even though I won't be able to see it.
Those two black areas in the South stand seem perfect for screens to me, why not put them there?

Have we worked out what those black areas are in the corners of the south stand?
