Not sure about the superfluous 'e' on the end there.

You're really going to need spell check for going into sports journalism....

Jjh and ciderup. I appreciate you have an opinion and you are entitled to it and as an Atyeo ST holder I want to move to the SS but the club gave us a straight choice and neither were ideal.

However I find your choice of words about Dolly just plain rude and cowardly. If you dont like her or disagree just say so or at the very least say so in a private environment. Homophobic language and other unpleasantries make you seem rather unsavoury.
Deleted accordingly.

Honest mistake, I didn't realise I'd added an 'e' on there.

Fairplay lads.

Now can we have a perspex roof that we can add to sell seats up there?

The hysteria on both sides of the debate has been nothing short of ridiculous, surely in a totally rebuilt stadium things such as where different groups of fans will go will take some trial and error over the next few seasons? Isn’t it all part of the excitement of turning Ashton Gate into a beautiful modern stadium?

As someone who stands in the Atyeo currently I couldn’t care less which stand I was placed in as long as I could stand with my friends, have a sing and a shout and all preferably in an unreserved section. I don’t use the facilities as I never buy food or drink in the ground as I prefer to have a drink or two before the game. If I were to be moved over to the South Stand or over to the new West Stand I’d probably go too as overall comfort of viewing isn’t my highest priority, in fact I’ve enjoyed moving around different parts of the ground and due to the season we had last year I’ll always remember the rickety old Williams fondly.

I’ve never asked to pay less for what I receive, however I’ve never moaned when shunted about from one side of the Atyeo as pretty much everyone recognised that the stadium rebuild was likely to cause issues.

Apologies if my input to the discussion appeared ridiculous Slades, it was certainly not my intention.
My whole point was that IF the Atyeo fans were to move, surely this summer, with all the other moves, would be the ideal time. There will be plenty of space in the South stand and if there was any discussions about the Atyeo supporters filling that space.
It seemed to escalate rather quickly. Apologies for that.

No apology necessary. I didn't make it clear - my fault - I was more referring to the 9 - 10 page discussion on OTIB - not individual posters on here, who for the vast majority are very sensible.

I understand your point and I'm open to it - I'll pay the going rate for the stand I am in and would be happy to do so - I don't want special treatment. As I'm sure 99% of those in the Atyeo don't - just to support the club in the way they wish, without stepping on the feet of others who just go to watch a game. There will just be teething issues in getting the balance right in the meantime. The whole 'them and us' attitude is very disappointing considering we all support the same team.

What's happening with that steel structure in the corner of the Atyeo Stand?

That's not a bad shout, didn't know if they were reserving one of the boxes for live games or something.

The bit in the North west corner is the police control area and the players / officials changing rooms and warm up areas. They will walk under the West stand to the new tunnel on the half way line. Wether there's a press area in there I don't know.

It's a massive media corner to an extent. Full on proper press room, tv studios, press conference stuff etc.
Bit overkill but I would imagine we are building to Premier League requirements to avoid any retrofit IF we ever need to get to the standard in reality.

You're not going to fill the stadium with those prices Steve.
Damn right David. Those West stand prices are a tad punchy!!
I've been booted out of my seat in the family area as my nipper is too old at 13 so gawd knows when I can renew as I have to wait for someone to move if I want a seat in the Dolman? :told:

Someone asked Lansdown at the Forest q&a about pricing and used Huddersfield's example for what they are setting next season. Could tell he wasn't at all keen about reducing them.

He won't be getting 20,000 every week as he's supposedly expecting then, not at those prices. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a drop in ST's in all honesty.

Those prices work out well for me, still able to get under 22 for next season. Not sure where I'll end up yet though

Sounds like the majority of those that are in the Atyeo this season and won't be able to renew in there will be in the SS next season. Should be decent, I'm moving over a couple of blocks because my section has been allocated as a family block.

If that's the case I'll probably go to the SS. Would be good to have a good atmosphere around the ground instead of one corner tucked away.

I'm moving too. Turfed out of the family areas as my youngest is older than 12 so I've moved back to the Dolman.
Even though the prices are high, the West stand appears to be selling well which surprises me as it's too pricey IMHO.
