Where are the TV cameras going to go? Top of the bottom tier? Bottom of the top tier? Top of the top tier?

Must admit, now that its almost finished, I do like how you've re-designed the stadium. That main stand looks very impressive, as does the wrap around thats been done. Impressive work by the architects I think.

If you save the picture CU put in here and zoom in to the right of the stand as you look at it, that structure is going to be the media centre. Three tiered, so a lot will be done in there. There are also camera spots in the South Stand (the one that was built last season) and in the new main stand.

Where are they going in the West stand though? It's not obvious and if they put them at the back it's gonna be a hell of a long way up!

Look at the picture you posted, the second block in from the corner of each end is a weird shaped box thing next to the exits. I believe that's where they'll be situated.

I was under the impression they were disabled areas bud.
No 1/2 way line camera?

How would they go about getting up there if they are the disabled areas? There are no lifts are there?

And there are cameras up in the Dolman this year, whether they'll be staying there or not I have no idea!

There are lifts for the top tier bud.
As for the camera / media area at the back of the Dolman, I understood that was temporary for this season only. On the plans, there's a platform on the half way line at the front of the West stand top tier which doesn't appear to be there at the mo. I assume that's the TV camera position.

The Atyeo looks sooooo shite in that picture. You wouldn't think it holds 4,500, it looks tiny up to the West stand.
10,000+ renewals in 14 days. Not bad fellas, not bad. The 'other lot' are chuffed to bits with 2,500 but as usual, we have blown them away. ;)

2,500 people still haven't renewed then (including me, but I'm waiting to see if my bet on Boro to get 90 points comes in for £500) but that's very impressive. By the end of the season I expect we'll be on the same amount as we have this season which was capped at 12,500 I believe, and if we make some serious noises in the summer we could be on for 15k.

Burger Joint for pre match food, its the way forward.

The new stand looks very impressive, hopefully we will have occasions next season where the ground is full.

It really makes the Atyeo look out of place now. Hope we come straight back up though the stadium looks so much better than the last time I went (14/15)
Indeed it does Dippy. At some point, I would imagine our owners will do something at that end to finish it off but it means purchasing around 17 houses which are going at £400K a pop at the moment. The outer wall of the new stand curves around that corner so I would imagine there is some form of plan in place.
At least no away fan can miss the stadium now as the new West stand towers over everything. I live 7 miles away from the Gate and I can see it from the top of the road plus it looks awesome when approaching the city from the M5 Portway.
We are genuinely excited about our stadium now whereas it was a bit of an old relic beforehand.

I remember going in 13/14. Cold January day, awful view from the top of that stand, we drew 2-2 because Sam Baldock loves scoring past us, and I fell off the back of those backless seats at half time while blind drunk. The Atyeo was a massive improvement on that and now that's the dodgy looking stand, madness at how far it's come in a couple of years

That's what £46M can do bud! Even the concourses under the new stands are first class, very similar to yours TBH if not even more spacious. Unfortunately, away fans are consigned to the Atyeo for the foreseeable future stand so don't get to sample them.
As for the old East end, it was an absolute dump but we loved it.

Atyeo was decent but the lack of a bar was depressing

Ah I remember that game. Mainly as it was the debut of the great man (El-Abd), but also because Baldock in that first half showcased the worst finishing by a player I have ever seen, and will ever see.

I think there's at least one in there now and there is talk about building a pub behind the Atyeo. Wether it's home fans only I have no idea. With 2,700 away tickets available next season, I would guess the internals of that stand are changing over the summer as that's in the plans before completion.

That day we brought around 500, so I think there is one but in the next block over
