I have no idea where the club got the 47 away fans from as the Cowsheds was literally empty. I suspect the figure for people actually in attendance was even lower.

The previous record was 937 against Halifax in 1984, for the first ever match played in this competition funnily enough.

6-2 win for the Robins. Hopefully this will kick-start our season.

I'm disappointed there was that many there to be honest, I was hoping for a sub 500.

Thank fuck we're out of this utter joke of a competition!

By comparison we have nearly 500 there tonight for an FA Youth Cup match against Argyle. I'm hoping that will beat our attendance for our dead rubber match against Rovers next week

720 at Yeovil including 80 odd West Ham fans.
A lot more than I thought considering it was a dead rubber. And either the 80 Hammers fans lived within a few miles of Yeovil or they are completely barking mad.

8 changes tonight v Walsall with us both through and us playing Sunday. Interestingly we have a 15 year old on the bench.

WBA tonight. Knowing us we'll smash them in a competition nobody cares about.

Oddly we’ve decided to play the FA Youth Cup match tonight so more will probably go that instead!

stoke city giving a chance to some young prospect called Sam Clucas. If all goes well for him here, he could be leading England out in Qatar.

Our official Twitter is doing the youth cup tie updates rather than this. 1-1 was cruising but did our Lincolnesque defending from a free kick right on HT

we're beating Stoke 1-0. I'm mostly thankful for the fact we broke our home duck against Newport on Saturday, and this goal isn't the first we've scored at home since august.

598 weirdos at our game tonight including 114 weirdos from Colchester.

It looks like we're going through, sadly. I have faith that we won't get close to the final however.

Similar with West Brom, couple of their promising kids made the starting XI, they go by the names of Boaz Myhill and Gareth Barry.

I do feel sorry for morecambe as tonight should be a huge game for them.

Removing Sunderland it does seem gates across board are getting worse season on season.

Is a surprise as usually boycotters give in over time but seems only heads being turn are within the small group of fans who go

64 Vale at Walsall. Won 2-1 winning the group with max points and the youngest ever player when youth product Nelson Agho at 15 years old made his debut (don’t think any fans had heard of him before!)

Decent work out for the second string and a goal for Quigley should boost his confidence. Was a real casual game at times fairly sloppy although Walsall managed to get a bloke sent off!

We are actually playing a load of players brought up in our own academy tonight and winning 2.0, thus helping Lincoln qualify.

2377 at The Globe, 1500 Sunderland fans, facepalm.

Its a bit half and half with our lot when it comes to this farce. The hardcore lot will go no matter what, being more bothered about our short term financial woes, which you can understand based on the last few seasons.

The rest I think either just can't be arsed or actually do understand the whole point of not going. I'm swinging more to can't be arsed for the majority though.

This appears to be the only competition we can win in for some reason, a decent 2-0 win over Coventry puts us through in front of 1,296 (488 Cov fans).

I’ve not said it for a while so here goes. This competition is an absolute bag of bollocks.

We recorded a famous win against the mighty WBA U21s. Unfortunately I was at the pub so I didn't see it.

We won 3-1 v Fleetwood and qualified with Dale. The only good thing is that we’ve kept our good run going in all competitions I suppose. I’d much rather have the 3 points v Stevenage though.
