And from a Rotherham man, of which I know nothing except for a certain infamous scandal.

So you have a degree, work in a call centre, and spend all day chatting shit on a football forum? Seems legit.

Also, maybe check some of your previous posts for grammatical errors. You of all people calling others out for not being able to string a sentence together, really is the definition of irony.

Metro area of over 1m, whatever that is.

Either way we are a top 10 UK city in population and top 5 in wealth but have never had a team to match.
Show me where pal? Cos that makes you bigger than Sheffield and that's bollocks

Sheffield's metro is 1.5m and urban 600k. Bristol's is 1m and 600k.

Not a city planner though so no idea of the distinction.

Correct, my wage and bonuses at a call centre are more than I'd make as a sports coach, where hourly rate is high but guarenteed hours are few and far between. When i can be bothered to have a year of nothing, I'll do my PGCE and then you can stop worrying about me and my degree dear.

The website for the Local authority of Bristol has their population at 442,500 or thereabouts and Sheffield city council has theirs at 551,800 or therabouts.

The city of Bristol is actually a small area. A lot of Bristolians live in South Gloucestershire or Banes. The 442k live in the City of Bristol which is only about 4 miles across.
That said, Sheffield is clearly a bigger City.

The problem for Bristol city is that the populus of Bristol is mostly full of inbred yokels who can't string a sentence together.

The rest are either Bristol Rovers fans, Rugby fans or have no intrest in Football.

It's great because you chat absolute shite and then I just have to look to the left of your posts and see Neil Warnock.

I doubt he could tie his own shoelace, let alone get a degree.

I'll tell you what you can have my dissertation on what effects the legacy of the 2012 London Olympic Games had on community sport in South Yorkshire if you want, might learn a thing or two

What defines a big club! If it's history, we are out!!!! If its catchment area related to professional clubs around you we are in. By the way that guy 'Madjeski' or someone saying there's nothing between Reading & Btn needs to take his rose tinted glasses off..........there official away attendance at the Amex this season was 'an amazing'......... 56.

Brighton are historically a third tiered team, four years in the top flight, and from 1986-2012 didn't average above 10k at home. Decent attendances since moving to the AMEX, a lot of potential similar to us - it's up for discussion how 'big' Brighton really are in comparison with other clubs in this division...
