Winger Bradley Hudson-Odoi has left us and joined an undisclosed club in the National (I know who it is). I wish him well, puts a shift in and a very likeable person to boot.

Good luck for tomorrow Grimsby fans, and Forest Green.

Just wondered how Pat Hoban had done? I did see his goals record hadn't improved from our place! Will certainly be released in the summer.
Never really played to his strengths. Held the ball up well when the ball was at his feet but we played him as a target man and he wasn't very good at winning headers. Unlucky with chances in box but I was glad when he was dropped again. A bit too slow as well to be a great threat.

Agree with that from what I've seen. Showed flashes of promise and looked more than capable of holding his own at this level, without looking like setting the division alight. I could see him going to a midtable Conference Premier club and doing alright with a locked down first team place and a style that suits him more. At times it almost felt like he was being started by Hurst as a way to motivate Bogle.

Well it's in the public domain now so whilst not official, he's signed for Sutton. About time you took a player off us JaredSUFC.

Barrow's first two signings of the season are a little left-field: Richard Bennett, a striker from Northwich, and Hampton & Richmond centre back Moussa Diarra.

Know absolutely nothing about either, but happy with those sort of signings over league players dropping down on their way to the bottom.
Diarra was nominated for that step's player of the year - looks like he's scored a few too. 6ft 5, so fits the Cox ethos.
Bennett looks like he scored nearly 30 last season, and if he's anywhere near as good as Williams that we signed from Northwich last season, he'll be fine.

I don't think we're in the market for any more centre-backs, so doubt Manny Smith or Beckles will be arriving.

Heard very good things about Moussa Diarra. Bit of a relocation for him though!

Diarra is a fucking giant. Looked a bit like Bambi on Ice on the ball (from his Hemel days) but has all the physical attributes to do well.

I played football with Ross Hannah in my back garden years back. True story.

Of course we are! Pretty sure we became aware of the fact when a millionaire rolled into town saying he would chuck a few million at it to get us in the league.
The only fans in denial about finances are the Woking fans, who "occasionally" mention they've got the smallest budget for a football team ever in the history of football. Ever.

Don't forget they had one or two injuries last season as well, not that it was ever mentioned........

Decent signing for them

He was woeful for us - waste of an 18 month contract. Gave one of the worst performances I've ever seen in a Town shirt away at Aldershot.

Any centre half that wears an alice band and is scared to head a ball can get in the sea, for me.
