First of the day is Marcin Brzozowski. Keeper from QPR , we had him as an emergency loan for 1 trophy game last season when all our other keepers were injured.
Now back on a permanent basis.

Signing number 2 is another keeper. Mark Halstead from Morecambe.

So you're signing 7 new keepers then?
Starting from the back it seems as signing number 3 is centre half Ali Omar from Barnsley.
22 years old but doesn't seem to have played any senior football.

This signing bonanza at Torquay is looking a little flat so far innit?

Maybe saving the heavy hitters till last

This is rubbish so far. For some reason I got quite excited about what Torquay have dubbed ‘Manic Monday’ and ‘the busiest day in Torquay’s transfer history’. Two GKs and two defenders no-one has heard of? Terrible. Hoping for more from the remaining three.

Bloody hope so! In fairness we've kept the spine if last season's side, only really needed to replace Covolan, Cameron, Whitfield and Nemane.

How many seasons did it take him to make 58 appearances?
The lad has ability but has to be our worst ever buy,he had a 3 year contract here and lucky if he played for 6 months.
Will always be remembered here for sprinting off pitch at Dagenham away to avoid angry fans in year we got relegated, never ran that fast when playing.

He had a four year run when he played for York, Stevenage and Maidenhead where he barely did anything and was injured most of the time. When we released him I was convinced he'd fall down the leagues as he was just injured far too often. Was surprised when he rebuilt his career at Woking before joining Halifax.

I did say not to expect anything too exciting, we don't have a budget to match the big boys. But I'm certainly hoping the last 3 are just a little bit more exciting!

Tom Lapslie looks a decent signing for Torquay on paper. 150 odd League Two appearances for a team that’s always been decent (until last season anyway), and only mid 20s.

And number 5 is Tom Lapslie from Colchester. Solid if unspectacular I think.
Could really do with the next 2 being forwards!

2 like I said. I feel like we will be getting Scott Boden vibes from him, a goalscorer when he wants to be but a heart the size of a pea.

Is Jake Speight the agent of all these random players? It seems extremely dodgy to have 7 people signing all at the same time. Not to mention tinpot.

they have only started back at training today so they could have easily announced these last week unless they thought they were doing some cool media release thing like manic monday

sounds like the next signing is ex Bournemouth

If you're looking for hungry players then try Matt Rhead, he's always hungry the fat bastard.
You could also go for Nathan Ashmore in goal. They could rekindle their jostling at the front of the buffet queue.

Hyde has 29 in his last 58 at this level which is probably up there with anyone over the past 2 seasons I'd have thought.

But whether he can handle the step up from Woking/Halifax level clubs is another matter.
Pardon? Your in the same league sunshine haha
