Do Macc just sign any player that used to play for us? I can't believe they've signed Churchman. He shouldn't have even been in our first team last season, his potential is debatable, but for a 19 year old he can't run, he's very lightweight, he tries too many hollywood passes which fail, he tries too many longshots which 90% went over the stand.

Like i say his potential is debatable but I can't believe Macc have signed him

We've allowed Woking to extend Craig Braham Barrets loan deal. Are they desperate?

A fair amount of our budget was spent on Yakubu and Rendell (who are both injured for the season) so we have to rely on loans. Just trying to avoid relegation.

Young player of the year last year! What happened county fans?
Decent young player who could have been a squad option for us but Lord gave him an inflated contract so Young got rid and replaced him with better.

At his best when he keeps it nice and simple and plays in front of the defence - will score a couple of fantastic goals a season from distance as well

Get out of it, you'll be top half again.

How's he done for you anyway? Can't see him getting a single start here unless both Howe and Palmer (who's also out on loan) get injured.

A lot of our fans don't seem to rate him. I think he's done ok since coming in. Our first choice left-back is fit again now though so he hasn't been in the team recently. Will only be back-up from now on.

He had a brilliant season at Farnborough in 2010-11 then it appears he's done nothing since. Shame as I really rated him that season.

Tbf, with the way we're playing this season I don't think anybody will get a look in barring injuries. Cunnington got just one minute from the bench the other day.

I agree. He really stood out that year against us, partly because he started fighting Dale Binns on his own team. I hoped he would be the same player we saw then but kind of knew, judging by what happened at Cheltenham, that he wouldn't be.

Nice.

Yeah, always difficult getting back to the same again after a shit spell. A shame, but it is what it is! Defensively is probably where would sign somebody (if needed) later in the season. Midfield and attack we are absolutely full with options.

Great passer. Can't head the ball or tackle. Needs the ball to feet. Bit of a passenger most games. He was made an unnecessary scapegoat by our fans, hope he succeeds for you guys.

At the start of the season we were budgeted for a 30% drop in attendances and so far they've increased on last year. We've also just received an amount rumoured to be in the region of £250k from Wigan for Max Power. All we've been told is that it's a top four budget, no idea how much it is though.
I read somewhere that you asked for £500K and got £300K.

All rumours, none of us really know. The club is getting rather good at keeping its cards close to its chest when it matters. Frustratingly.
Not always a bad thing though in terms of transfer fees. If it's known exactly how much we got for Max, could have inflated the prices asked for McNulty, Dawson etc

I'm not sure there was a fee involved for McNulty at all was there? Nothing mentioned on our end as far as I saw. We allowed him to leave on compassionate grounds so I doubt we were pushing for much in the way of reimbursement.

Is McNulty permanent or loan?

Liam Marsden (right back) joins us from Mansfield on a months loan

Will be interested to see how he does at this level. Never let us down on the odd game he's started for us in League 2, but looked a bit poor in pre-season & in the JPT.

Should be solid enough for you guys, hopefully aids his development.

He played today, started a little cautiously (to be expected) but grew into the game very well. I expect him to push on as he gets to know the lads and what's expected of him.

Mcnulty is only a loan with a view to a future deal. No fee yet I don't believe.

We've let go Callum Hassan, who becomes our 90th player this season to leave the club. Hopefully we can get in a couple more kids in to help our plight.

What the fuck is going on Kidderminster? I swear they sign about 2 teenagers every week and let players go every other week.

Is that Hassan the big striker? He looked quite good against Macc.

The problem is we don't know what's going on. It's emerged this week that Verma has seemingly been cast out by our board and has been training with the youth team, whilst our midfield has been crying out for some experience. He's not the best in the world, but he's better than what we've got and seems like a nice enough guy - not one that would seek a disagreement at least. Our play yesterday was pathetic. I can take a defeat if the players have tried but yesterday was appalling. Yet somehow Dinsley keeps getting selected. We were outplayed by a Stourbridge who were stronger, quicker and more athletic than us in every department.

Hassan is the big striker. Changed the game as a big target man against Macc, then we stick him on the right wing against Southport where he can't get into the game, then is dropped completely for yesterday.

Hockaday is tactically inept. Yesterday we tried the same tactic of passing between the back 5 to try and create some space, which clearly wasn't working from 5 minutes in, but we never changed the plan. As a result, we were pegged onto the edge of our area for the whole game. He also seems to have no concept of when a substitution is required, waiting until it was 3-0 before making a change. I was willing to give Hockaday a chance against my better judgement when he was appointed, but the man is a complete liability.

Is he any good? One of the long list of players we need is an imposing striker who actually hit the target.

Playing strikers on the wing? Dropping players randomly? Pissing around playing tippy tappy in defence? Tactically inept?

Doesn't sound like Hockaday......oh wait, it sounds EXACTLY like Hockaday. He will never learn. Useless.

Now I can't look forward to your food next season. Grrr.
