If we stay up this year it would be an amazing season! All I'm looking forward to is visiting all your lovely stadiums and cannot fecking wait for it! If it only lasts for one season and we are relegated so be it, I'm gunna make the most of it
This is exactly how I felt last year and it is a great experience playing against some huge clubs and in some great stadiums.
However, there is a downside.
Some of these great clubs, with great stadiums stick you in the crappiest place possible to watch the match and charge you £30 plus for the privilege.
You will also find that away days tend to be less enjoyable, fans often are not allowed to mix and most pubs are off limits to away supporters.
The total opposite of what you get used to in Leagues 1 & 2.
Is it all worth it then?
Yes of course it is because no-one wants to lose to teams like Rotherham and MK Dons, so it is truly delightful when they do.
Good luck next season, it's bloody hard but that just makes the few victories even sweeter.
I dont mind paying that money to visit decent championship stadiums, what pisses me off is Swindon chargin £27 a ticket for L1 football in a shit stand with a crap view! Every stadium in this league is better than swines, posh & Oldham so not to worried(ish) about the increase in ticket price.
Would love to see us get wins against the bigger teams this season!
I know what you mean about Swindon and Posh but I thought Oldham was ok.
At least you get a good allocation behind the goal, you will find a lot of Championship teams stick you in a corner and charge the earth for it.
TBF though teams like ours tend to be classed as low category games so at least we don't tend to pay as much as some club's fans.
Got to be grateful for small mercies I suppose.
Lancys back! Welcome home fella.Provided we keep Dyche as manager, Shackell as skipper and sign decent replacements for Ings and Tripper.....If we fail to do at least 2 out of those 3 things, we will have little chance of making the top six.....But we have loads of "filthy lucre" - about £15 million to spend - if Dyche can persuade the board to back him for the very first time.
