5-0 but I'm hearing worrying reports that they've opened up the Big Bank because there's a decent crowd in.

Not normally too interested in this competition. But magnificent first half to go in 5 up. Looking forward to the Rovers managing telling the media they won the 2nd half

Just three U21 teams left after West Ham got booted out for fielding an ineligable player. All in the South too!

Teams on the left will be at home and will play any of the teams on the right,

Draw is on Sky after the Bradford v Port Vale game on Saturday.

I still don't like the competition.
But the positive is that Sam Stubbs hot hs first game since we signed him in January. And we were 5-0 up when he went off...
1400 there but I suspect that was mainly because it was only a fiver

Didn't watch the game but sounded like a cracker. Did rovers field a team first half?
Team full of stiffs and youngsters to give them a run out. One youngster id never even heard of

Barton thinks we made 2. The man's an idiot.
Yeah I heard him say that in his interview after the game. Not sure where he got that from, we even had a 16 year old in goal! His team obviously wasn't as young and inexperienced as he's implying either, as they need to hit the squad criteria with players that have played so many games / started last game or next game etc etc.

Hate this competition, would happily be 5-0 down at half time.. until you’re actually 5-0 down and suddenly it’s not that funny.

But no, seriously - I honestly don’t give a toss about this competition. The only cup results I count are in the FA Cup.

Barton surely doesn't have long left? He will be gone before Christmas at this rate right?

There have been signs of improvement recently, but I think he is benefiting from over-sacking managers recently tbh.

A bigger situation is his court case on 26th November tbh

definitely signs of improvement mainly down to the rookie Taylor in defence going strength-to-strength, and Nicho/Thomas coming back.

New injuries have been occuring on what seems like a weekly basis. I know everyone gets injuries but ours have been something else, and quite a few long term

Pompey at home. Last time we played them was in the semi final when we were five minutes away from going to Wembley. Though it would have been an empty one.
Probably be a half decent crowd but we could do with playing thr reserves again as its in the middle of a brutal December.

We received the ultimate draw of a fake franchise club in a B-team competition. Modern football right there.
