Keeping my eye out... hopefully they slow down and a couple thousand are left next Sunday... Xmas party in Leicester the Saturday! Queuing early the Sunday!

I’m in the same boat as you on this. For what it’s worth I reckon there’ll be approx 2500-3000 still remaining for general sale as very much doubt every season ticket holder will get a ticket. Personally would have preferred the club did one ticket per season ticket. When hitting general sale think the club should prioritise those with ticket stubs from one of the games before that.

Just hope some of those who magically remembered they are Vale fans for this fixture turn up for our home games...

Might avoid the risk and invest in a ten game ticket tomorrow... il probably have gone to 7 or 8 anyway and I pay a tenner for tuesdays on IFollow so wouldn’t then cost much more to go those two and make up the 10.

The fact us beating Forest Green is a cup upset just shows what a shit show this club has become. No offence to Forest Green intended.

£250,000 for the last remaining league two team is on offer. 6 teams remain, Plymouth have to get through a replay first. Then Vale, Crewe, Newport, Northampton and Carlisle all remain.

Fancy us to nick it! I'm absolutely stunned the club have re-arranged Morecambe for what could easily be the Tuesday we have to play Man City in the replay!

Sod the £250k for going through. City will donate their 45% of the gate money to Vale which will be worth more than that, anyway.

Got my tickets this morning. Didn’t even have to queue at around midday. Should be a good few thousand left for general sale I reckon. Reckon we will take around 6.5k.

Still not answering the bloody phones though!

Do City usually donate their share? Would be nice!

I’ve heard they usually donate their share of the gate receipts for cup games to lower league clubs.

Are Man City going to be able to get one of those temporary stands to increase their capacity for this match? Would definitely fill it, just looking at the layout of their stadium I'm not sure where it would go

They’ve given us the maximum allocation, I believe.

They tried to hire Old Trafford but FA rules forbade it.

Calling us 'average' is really far too generous of you.
I've been to Carlisle a few times to watch games and found it a pretty friendly place...I would have been less complimentary if I'd had a dreadful experience or hated it there!

Man city ticket sales will slow down now as most season ticket holders will have already got them. I'd imagine around 6000 of the 8000 will have been sold by the time they make general sale.

If as looks likely 2000 or less left that Sunday after Cheltenham is going to be chaos! Loads will be queuing from the early morning.

Wonder if the level 1 part of the usual away end is being held back if we do sell out? Assume im in level 3.

Going to be immense atmosphere, recall Villa away in 2006 with nearly 8k Vale fans.

If we do sell out it’s the biggest ever away following at the Etihad. Massive!

Please do keep us updated on how many daytrippers are going to Manchester lads, it’s really interesting to hear about the massiveness.

Man City away is a good draw for Port Vale financially, but that’s it.

Man City at the Etihad is the only cup game that I know 100% I wouldn’t go to. What is the point? We’ve seen what happens to lower league teams that go to play Pep’s Man City. It’s just 90 minutes of pure humiliation. Ask Burton and Rotherham fans. Liverpool, Manure, Chelsea, Spurs away... there’s always a slight minuscule chance of a result, but not at Man City. If you keep it below 6 it will be a miracle.

I’ve been to a few games at Man City, league and Europe, tickets easy to get your hands on, they give them away. Sure Vale fans will enjoy the occasion and the piss up but it’s a drab affair at the etihad.

It’ll be 5000 more than your lot would take.

The mood is who cares if we get walloped 7 or 8... we can turn up put in a great effort and level of performance and still get spanked and be no shame in that, Champions of England, won two cups and won the final against a Prem side 6-0.

It’s unwinnable the only footballing hope is that their weaker performances this season mean we might keep it lower.

It’s more about the money and what that can do for our revival if not this season which most fans felt would be consolidating but certainly next when fans will want and demand a challenge for promotion after getting a free year because of the mess it was left in by the past regime.

It is also a chance to celebrate the new era with an ace away day and if we lose 10-0 we lose 10-0.

Plus as Pope tweeted six months ago he will wear Stones like a Johnny so we might get a goal or two :lol:

Hate this pissing on other fans’ parade. It’s a big thing for us bottom feeders.

Wish it was us.
