0-0 at GGL. Quite an even game although neither keeper was overly tested. Still in the cup

Sounded like Lord Cowley was a few minutes away from being a bit too good AND clever for Ipswich.

Tom Lawrence is a class player though and I used to live round the corner from him, he's certainly my football fwend.
We were the better side for large parts of the game and Ipswich just hadn't a clue what do.
They are a terrible side, you do wonder how much big Mick last at Portman Road on that showing?
Amazing day out and not a bad first away game for my daughter.

Just saw the highlights and Farman had a mare for both goals. Every time I see that keeper play he chucks a few in.

Have to say, Eastleigh apart I guess, what a great endorsement for NL football those left in the cup gave yesterday, with undoubtedly the pick being not just Lincolns performance and result at Ipswich but the fact that they took such an astonishing amount of supporters down to Suffolk to support them.
5000 fans, just wow!
Take a big bow Lincoln, Stourbridge, Sutton and even Barrow, did yourselves and NL proud yesterday

Really enjoyed yesterday's game, and was happy with our performance despite losing 2-0. Rochdale played like a team on form from two divisions higher, but I've never seen a better Barrow performance than Danny Livesey's. It's a mystery how this guy is even in non-league in the first place.
Was a good atmosphere and it'd be nice to have half that crowd against Southport on Tuesday night.
Enjoyed the FA Cup this season after some dreadful showings in recent years. Now need to find some form and get back to winning ways in the league.

All you guys making 3rd round of FA Cup also have the bonus of Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea all being at home with most likely full houses, so he bonus pool of cash to be spread out at the end of the season should be decent this year.

Well done Imps on that fantastic away support at Portman Road (4,838). I sincerely hope either yourselves or Tranmere win this league and the one that doesn't wins the play-offs, although I've a nagging hunch that Barrow will win the play-offs.

Yep, top performance by all the clubs yesterday from our league you did us all proud, I only live ten miles from Ipswich and one of the lads who went to Solihull with me yesterday is a Ipswich season ticket holder, would rather watch the heed than Ipswich at the moment, absolutely scandalous that Lincoln had fans on a waiting list for tickets, but it was Suffolk police who told the club wot to do, whoever Ipswich town should have had the balls to keep one section of the lower tear of the churchmans open for Lincoln fans to pay on the day, w/o have needed sod all stewards ,got it wrong big time

That draw is total dogshit. Not a single game of interest in the whole thing.

Football was so much better before it started getting fixed.

The National League reffing out the 'unpopular' part-timers being one particular example.

Brighton at home obviously isn't the glamour draw we wanted, but I'm still pretty happy with it. We'd sell out and there's a good chance of it being on TV.

It also means we won't be that bothered if we lose the replay, which wasn't the case the other year when we lost to Mansfield with a home draw against Liverpool the reward for the winners.

From what I've been told, if our replay is on TV, then it'll be Monday or Wednesday. If the latter, our game against Dover will still go ahead on TV.

As for the draw, it's not great, but, as above, I think it'll be a good shout for a TV one. Ipswich first, mind...

Sure Man U v Wigan will be on, making it 56 fa cup ties in a row for them live on tv....

Loved Lineker trying to justify it on twitter yesterday "ideally we want lower league at home to Premier League". Except when there's a Man Utd connection at Salford then that rule goes out the window.

I'm convinced it would be. Two teams top of their respective divisions (at time of posting), reasonable chance of an upset. I'm hoping you see off Ipswich as I'd love a visit to Sincil Bank.

Actually, do they not need to select it for TV before knowing the result of the replay? Makes it far less likely if so.

Like me. Again. ST is smack bang where the gantry goes for TV games.

Even if we lose against Ipswich, that'll be £350k plus from the FA Cup run now. Yesterday, Uncle Bob was saying we were at about £250k before the replay was taken into account.

With £67,500 for the winners, and a potential TV tie worth a further £144,000 (though they will probably go for the big names instead), a win could be worth a further £200k+ before even taking in to account gate receipts.

The terrible draw all round is good for your TV chances at least if you can get the job done. Same figures and info of course go for Sutton in terms of how much they can make by going through. I feel if one goes through and the other doesn't then they surely have to get on TV as the last non-league side left in the competition... though I can easily see Spurs vs Wycombe, the usual Man United game, and Chelsea vs Brentford.

Yeah, you'd hope the lowest ranked side would get a TV slot.

I wasn't totally convinced we'd get our replay on TV. I thought it was in with a good shout, but I thought Sutton's manager having a moan might have swayed them.

I always thought that they would go for the Lincoln v Ipswich game on the telly, looking forward to it, should be a cracking game...as long as the fog stays away!
