Hope they've managed to sort that fire out in the Sixfields Tavern. Scrolling through Twitter before the game, it looked quite a nasty one.
Sixfields is certainly on fire with goals today... heartless bastards.

Anything other than an Allen sacking after that shower of shit would be a travesty.

Surprised and pleased by that, not a glamorous upset by any means but an upset nonetheless.

Now watch us get the mother of all shit draws next round - Portsmouth or Northampton at home (where we play worst).

Why should Northwich never have been playing the game?
In two earlier rounds they were found guilty of playing an ineligible player in their side yet unlike other cases they weren't expelled from the competition.
They're not even the real Northwich Vics.

Am I missing something? 9 points off the bottom 2 after getting promoted and it's very unlikely you'll drop.

Surely you would be happy with how you're doing?

Our match against you was our last good performance. Since then Allen has chopped and changed the team which has resulted in a worsening of performances and results. He obviously has no idea what our best starting XI is and it's clear that the players are losing belief in him because of his lack of confidence in the players. Elliot Johnson was our best player last week but was dropped to the bench today for no discernible reason. It's becoming a bit like how Magath demoralised his squad when he was Fulham's manager.
Actually I think we should be doing a lot better than our current position but Allen's summer recruitment was not good either.

Wow wow wow what a comeback. For 80 minutes the most interesting thing about the game was the pre-match watering hole on fire, but this team don't know when they're beaten it seems. Full credit to Northwich, deserved to win, and even after the comeback it took an absolutely brilliant Adam Smith to keep us ahead.

That 5 minutes of madness was the best and loudest I've ever seen live. Superb.

Link here for anyone interested in the madness: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34952309

Spectacular fire and quite sad really. Apparently some parts were untouched, but the roof had caved in and the whole place looked gutted.

Amazing turn around. Was sat near to who I assume was the northwich. Chairmen who was an absolute BELLEND.

Also for the cobblers fans that left at 80 minutes saying we will never score, never come back to Sixfields please.

Luckily our game tomorrow is away from home, no doubt it'd have been postponed had it been at Brunton Park - bad flooding across Cumbria.
I think we've sold over 500 for Welling, though some may give it a miss considering the conditions.

I drove past Welling's ground this morning. There was a TV pantechnicon parked outside. You could become famous.:bye:

Oh - and if you are thinking of coming by rail - forget it. The line is closed for maintenance this weekend and there is no replacement bus service.

Wow. A bizarre day at Sixfields as we take the winning run to 6 games in the row home and away, and seven home games in a row.

This could have been a very bad day for us, as Northwich were well up for it. Of course had their keeper not made a superb save at 0:0 it could have been a different start. Their second goal was a piece of terrible defending full stop.

I have never seen an amazing collapse like that before in such a short space of time! Yes Hereford beat us 4:3 one but that was 4 goals in 20 minutes.

The backdrop to the game of course was the massive fire at the Sixfields Tavern - pretty much raising it to the ground.

Half and half scarves on sale at the Welling vs Carlisle cup tie FFS.
Carlisle had better watch out for the magical skills of Kieron St Aimie (sic)!

Apparently Welling v Carlisle is live on Fox in the US. Anyone know of the weather in Cumbria affected the away attendance?
Obviously I'm not there but the CUSAT cancelled their travel yesterday which will probably have an impact.

Quite a lot of possession Welling have had. Hopefully they're not doing anything with it, have only managed one shot off target. We never need much possession to get goals.

They've had nothing so far, we've not had loads but we're attacking them much more than they are us. Gilliead's got their full back every time again so need to be giving him the ball early.

Not sure how Curle will deal with this now, I think we could easily set out to hold onto the 2-0 lead or he could go for more goals and get the confidence up for the tougher league games.

We're 1-0, Berry quickest to the rebound after Donny saved the penalty. Penalty was a pen and it sounds like the least we deserve by all accounts.

Imagine Donny will expose us in the second half. Ho hum.

I was supposed to be going on the coach. Watching it on tv instead.

We haven't gave them a chance yet. More of the same second half and we're in the hat.
